Aaliyah's Pov


While Daniel's daddy and I were walking, I suddenly started to cry. I don't know but I feel different. It hits different this time.

We were almost at the altar when Vince suddenly smiled at me.

I was surprised when Daniel's dad let go and then he took my hand again and held it.

"Congratulations iha. Welcome to the family" he said with a smile that made my brain even more confused. But I thought of course, Vince is his nephew so what he said was right. But I still can't get rid of overthinking!

Daniel's daddy gave my hand to Vince and then he spoke.

"She is very beautiful. Please, take care of her" He said smiling.



"I do"

I looked who spoke.

My heart was pounding.

After a while, Vince gave my hand to the person I didn't expect to be in front of me now.

I cried when I realized what was happening.

I can't speak. I only hear the noise of our loved ones while they are more excited than me. But I can't do it right now because I'm so shocked!

I was still dumbfounded until I saw Vince sitting next to his family. Daniel tightened his grip on my hand because I was really shaking.

I don't know but it all seems like a dream that I hope if it's true I don't want to wake up!

"You are the most beautiful and gorgeous bride I've ever see.." he whispered to my ears. I just looked at him and to know if he was real and not just an illusion, I touched his very handsome face. He is very handsome in his white tuxedo. it suits him perfectly.



"Im real. And I'm all yours. And you are mine, forever..." He said and the next thing I knew, he is kissing me in front of all people, And there I heard all of them shouting and screaming with a loud of applause.

I cried so much. This is unbelievable.






Someone's POV


Daniel held Aaliyah's hands very tightly while she cried constantly and he couldn't stop her.

When they reached the front of the altar, Daniel supported Aaliyah and wiped the tears that had spread down her cheeks and whispered.

"Shhh.. stop crying wife. It makes me feel I want to lock you up already"

Because of that, Aaliyah hit him weakly. While still crying.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here, with the sight of God, and in the presence of these witnesses. To join together this man and this woman, in holy matrimony. Which is an honorable estate, instituted by God." Father's beginning.

"What's happening.." Aaliyah asked Daniel crying. She knows what is happening around her and it is clear to her that Daniel is right in front of her and next to her right now.

But it seems that everything that is happening still does not want to enter her brain. She thought that maybe it was all just a dream.

"It's our wedding what else?" Daniel said smiling at Aaliyah.

"I guess it's just a dream!" Aaliyah said while her tears were still falling.

"Tsk. It's our wedding day and your not dreaming." Daniel said again. They kept whispering to each other until father spoke again.

"Into this holy estate, these two persons come now to be joined. If anyone here can show just cause why they may not lawfully joined together, let them now speak, or else hereafter forever hold their peace."

Daniel suddenly looked at father and suddenly looked behind the audience.

It's a scary Daniel looking behind us, in his mind anytime someone objected, they life would end immediately. That's why no one dared to speak or appeal at all.

"Why?" Aaliyah whispered to him when she noticed that Daniel was looking around.

"Nothing" he answered in a whisper.

"Are you listening?" the father asked them.

"No father, I'm sorry" Aaliyah said bowing while pouting.

"No. Could you make that speech of yours a little faster???" Daniel said irritably because he was nervous that at any time there would be trouble in their marriage.



Even though Aaliyah was nervous, she was surprised by what she heard from Daniel.

Because of that, Aaliyah elbowed him.

"Hey! What?!" Aaliyah weaned him. Daniel kept quiet because he didn't want them to fight before their marriage was over.

Aaliyah looked around and saw everyone smiling.

"I require and charge you both, as you stand in the presence of God, before whom secrets of all hearts are disclosed, that having duly considered the holy covenant you are about to make, you do now declare before this company your pledge of faith , each to the other. Be well assured that if these solemn vows are kept inviolate, as God's word demands, and if steadfastly you endeavor to do the will of haveanly Father and earthly Mother. God will bless your marriage, will grant you fulfillment in it, and will establish your home in peace."

"Will you please both stand" father said to the two and the two stood while Daniel supported Aaliyah.

"Thanks" Aaliyah softly whispered to him so he smiled at her while saying "I love you".

Aaliyah seemed to be in a state of excitement because of him.



"Daniel Sy, do you take this woman to be your wedded wife, to live together in the holy bonds to matrimony? To love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health and forsaking all others, keep thee only unto her as long as ye both shall live?" Father asked Daniel.

"I won't stand here if I don't. So yeah. I fvcking do." Daniel answered proudly. Aaliyah looked at him again and glared at him.

"Aaliyah Mendoza, do you take this man to be your wedded husband, to live together in the holy bonds of matrimony? To love him, comfort him, honor and keep him, in sickness and in health and forsaking all others, keep thee only unto him so long as ye both shall live?"

"I do father" Aaliyah said smiling to father.

"Who gave this woman to be married to this man?"

Everyone was surprised when Vince suddenly stood up. Almost everyone looked at him, even Aaliyah and Daniel were nervous about anything he would say.

"I do." He said and sat down again while smiling at Aaliyah.

"Repeat after me" father said to Daniel after he gave him Aaliyah's hand.

"I, Say your name, take thee, Say her name, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worst, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, According to God's holy ordinance. and thereto I pledge thee my faith."


"I, Daniel Sy, take thee, Aaliyah Mendoza to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worst, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance. and thereto I pledge thee my faith." When Daniel repeated what his father said.

"Now, you young lady, repeat after me" father said to Aaliyah.

"I, Say your name, take thee, Say his name, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worst, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, According to God's holy ordinance. and thereto I pledge thee my faith."

"I, Aaliyah Mendoza, take thee, Daniel Sy, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worst, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, According to God's holy ordinance. and thereto I pledge thee my faith." Aaliyah repeated in tears while swearing in front of everyone. Everyone applauded. And father spoke again.

"You may now, say your own vows to each other" Aaliyah was surprised to hear what her father said because she was not prepared and did not know what to say. How?! She didn't know that there are speech like this!

Father gave Daniel a microphone and took one of Aaliyah's hands then he looked into her eyes and she started talking.





"The feeling hit me the moment I saw you stupidly screaming for help at the bar where we first met.." Daniel said to Aaliyah while directly staring at her eyes. People around started whispering.

"Yeah. I fell in love the first time we made eye contact. It was so immediate and powerful. Far deeper and inexplicably beyond any calculation of time and place" He smiled while staring at Aaliyah's face.

Aaliyah kept crying and anytime her tears would suddenly pour out.

"We're just strangers, and somehow, you still manage to trust me and give me the most important thing in your life. You even taught me all the things that I am afraid to learn." He smiled a little because his voice seemed to be breaking because he felt that his tears would fall anytime, that's what he didn't want to happen.

"Last year, we had a big problem, and even if you don't know the truth you are ready to forgive and accept me no matter what. That's how you love me."
