Chapter 32
Chapter 32
Tyde went to school the next day to quit his job to protect his young fated mate from being claimed by his wolf until she was the right age and knew they were fated mates.
Upon hearing the news, the principal was sad to see one of his best teachers leaving so suddenly. She already knew he would be quitting next year to take on his full job as the new Beta, but she didn't expect him to leave so soon.
Since Tyde was the only literature teacher at Sternford High, the principal pleaded with him to stay while they tried to find a new literature teacher as quickly as possible.
After many pleas from the principal, Tyde decides to teach for only 5 days.
Walking out of the principal's office, Beta Tyde had high doubts whether he would be able to restrain himself from his pretty young mate for the next five days.
For the day at school, after completing his classes, he went immediately into his office and tried hard not to meet up with her along the hallway.
Isabella worried whether Beta Tyde was fine; ever since he ran off yesterday due to a personal matter, she hadn't seen him at school today.
School was dismissed, and Isabella walked home. Her home was less than 4 minutes away from school. Isabella didn't have to walk; she could have driven one of the five cars at her home.
But apart from having a strong love for Beta Tyde, she also loved nature. She enjoys walking past the trees and looking at the huge mountain in the distance.
She strolled along, with her backpack against one shoulder and her heavy math textbook held against her chest. Isabella slowed down, now scared to see three males appearing from the bushes and heading towards her.
Isabella thought they were probably just walking past her, but then one of them tried to touch her. She drew back, and her heart began to race with fright.
Isabella became angry and growled at the three men who were surrounding her, urging them to back away.
They laughed at her.
"You look so cute when you're mad, and that's the most unfrightful growl I've ever heard," one said, and again they all laughed.
Isabella loathed that her growl sounded less frightening, resembling a pup's, and she wished it had been more terrifying; if it had been, probably the men would not have bothered to try and harm her anymore.
"We have been waiting for you for a long time," said one of the males, holding her by both of her hands, and her math book fell to the ground.
"Please don't hurt me." Isabella's tearful eyes went to the light gray-eyed male holding her, with a pleading look for him to let her go.
Beta Tyde waited until he was certain his fated mate had left to avoid bumping into her.
Walking along the hallways, his hearing senses suddenly heightened, and he's startled to hear his young fated mate crying for help while not one but three men are laughing and trying to assault her.
Beta Tyde bolted to his car in desperation to save his fated mate.
