His wolf sensed that she had turned seventeen not long ago.
Could the moon goddess have finally made a mistake after pairing a wolf shifter with their fated mate for years? The Beta thought.
"Good morning, Beta Tyde. Ms. Isabella Banks is transferring to your class for this new school term," said Mr. Francis, the principal.
When the principal did not hear a response from Beta Tyde, he called out again, "Beta Tyde."
Beta Tyde was so confused because he had found his fated mate before the full moon, which was supposed to occur in three months, and she was not yet considered an adult. He forgot the principal was in the classroom next to his tiny fated mate.
"I'm sorry," he apologized.
"And of course," he later said.
The principal went off, and Beta Tyde showed Isabella her seat. He watched her gently walk to her seat and sit gracefully.
When a wolf finds his fated mate, it is in his nature to make love to her and mark her instantly as his own. Tyde was now battling the urge of his wolf to pick her up from the chair, considering how tiny and fragile she was, and take her to an empty classroom to imprint her as his own.
He held onto the edge of his desk, fighting hard not to, and he felt like he was losing.
"Class, read the first 5 poems in your poetry textbook, do the activities, and leave the books on my desk when you're done," he said quickly and immediately exited the classroom.
He ran into the teacher's male bathroom and washed his face with cold water to calm himself down.
When he raised his face to the mirror before him, he saw his eye glowing in his wolf's golden form. He closed his eyes for a minute and reopened them to see they were gone.
To find answers to his problem, he immediately left the school to seek help from someone he knew could best give him the answer.
Isabella is popular in school for being the most beautiful girl. Her alluring beauty allows every male who sees her to desire her. She is sought out by the most popular guy, Braxton, known for being the captain of the football team, but Isabella is only interested in one guy, and that is Mr. Tyde, now referred to as the Beta. She's been attractive to him from the day he started teaching at Sternford High.
Isabella initially believed her feelings for him were just a crush, like those of every other she-wolf at the school who admired his good looks and impressive height of 6 feet 2 inches; however, her emotions were much stronger than that, and she felt that if she didn't get him, she would lose it. This is why she enrolled in a literature class, even though it would be useless for her future career as a doctor.
Isabella thought that, for the 2-hour class, she would be staring at Mr. Tyde's short, curly, dark hair; she would imagine running her hand into it innumerable times and listening to his strong, masculine voice, but instead, another teacher, a she-wolf, came in.
"Good morning, students. I'll be taking Beta Tyde's place today while he attends to some personal matters," the teacher said.
Isabella felt disappointed to see that she was stuck with Ms. Glacy instead of the gorgeous Beta Tyde.
Every night she lay awake thinking about him making love to her, slow and sometimes fast, when she was extremely aroused for his touch that the next day she would feel exhausted for not getting enough rest.
