I dropped my clothes to the floor and stepped in the shower behind him wrapping my arms around his muscular frame from behind. “Hey, I thought you were in bed,” he said as he turned around to me, wrapping his arms around me, he kissed me.

“I wanted to be here with you” I smiled up at him as he ran his fingers through my hair. The feeling of electricity that ran through my body from Kane's touch was ignited by the sensation of the hot water showering down on me. “I have something I need to tell you still,” I began.

“The same thing from earlier?” I nodded.

I smiled at him, climbing across his legs so I was straddling him. “Oh, this is completely your fault” I laughed, his expression didn't falter as he tried to work out what I was saying.

“I'm pregnant!” I blurted. I thought of many different ways I should have told him, but the excitement got the better of me. I knew he was going to be happy about it, he hadn't expressed his feeling about fatherhood to many people. But I knew he longed to be a father.

His eyes widened, “you're what?” He gasped in shock.

“You,” I leaned forward, wrapping my arms around his shoulders, “are going to be a father.”

“Huh....what? Like N-Now?” He stuttered.

I couldn't help but smile at him, “Well, he's currently cooking away in there, Im not going to suddenly grow and spontaneously combust popping him out in the next ten seconds” I laughed.

The smile on his face began to widen, at lightning speed he wrapped his arms around me, lifting me closer to him. “I'm going to be a father” he repeated to himself between excited laughs.

He jumped up from the bed, keeping me in his arms “WOAH” I gasped at the sudden movement. Holding onto him a bit tighter, I'm not sure why though as I knew he wasn't going to drop me. “You have made me the happiest person alive right now!” He beamed, kissing me as he spun me around.

“Wait you said him? Is it a boy?” he paused.

“I don't know, it's just a feeling I have, I don't know much actually, I've not been to the doctor yet, I thought maybe we could go together”

“I would love that” He whispered, the smile still hadn't left his face. He placed me down onto the bed and crawled back in next to me, he placed his hand over my belly, clearly, I wasn't showing yet else he would have known but his touch was gentle like he was scared of putting too much pressure on me. “You know this kind of makes sense,” He said staring down at my belly still.

“What does?” I asked him placing my hand over his.

“Your scent, It's changed slightly, it's more potent to me, your tiredness your appetite, mood swings”

“considering the circumstances I think we can't exactly blame my mood swings entirely on the pup”

“Yeah, sorry, you're right, I can't believe it, I'm actually going to a father” He exhaled loudly.

“Rose picked up on it earlier, when we were downstairs” I felt bad they found out before him.

“That doesn't surprise me in the slightest” He chuckled to himself.

“And then Blair and Kala sort of heard us talking” I looked at him scrunching my eyes, I knew he would have liked to of told his sisters, I hope he wasn't mad with me.

He rubbed my belly “I don't care, I will tell the other tomorrow, inform the pack you're with pup” He lowered his head and softly placed a kiss on my belly.

“Do you think that's a good idea?” He looked up at me.

“What do you mean?” he asked.

“With everything that is going on, Victor and Lydia, I don't want our pup being a target in their sick games”

He rested his head down on my stomach, wrapping his arm around me holding me tight to him “They won't do anything, Victor won't be getting out anytime soon, If I had it my way I would go down there now and snap his neck”

“Why can't you? It would save a lot of trouble”

“I'm not my father Em, maybe I should be more like him when it comes to this situation but I don't want the pack to fear me as they did him” he whispered.

“They will never fear you, Kane, you have done so much for them, if they all knew what Victor had done, they would understand” I reassured him.

“Do you think that is what I should do, just kill him?” He looked up at me.

“If it was anyone else I would say no, give them a fair trial, but he is evil Kane what he has done to people is beyond forgivable”

He was quiet for a moment, I could tell I had shocked him admitting I wanted Victor dead. “I don't want you to worry about him anymore,” He said kissing my belly one last time before he came back to lay beside me. He shifted his arm beneath me allowing me to rest my head on his chest, “Leave them to me, ok” he asked.

“Ok” I agreed.
