Vanessa had just gotten rid of the majority of the Krent pack werewolves that were attacking her city.
"Wow, that's amazing," I said to her, "I've never seen someone use such magic like this before.”
"I can't believe Magic actually transfers with the soul when they reincarnate, you're using the same technique my sister used to save me years ago," Hunter noted and that made Vanessa smile.
"Well, I just don't like the idea of bringing in civilians to a warzone, now we just have to..." Vanessa was explaining but then give blad blades stabbed her from the back and came out of her chest, literally none of us sensed anything, a black portal of darkness, and from within it, came a dark skinned boy with white and black spiky hair, he wore a black military uniform with red gemstones across it.
"Neuralgia," he whispered to Vanessa and suddenly I saw the horror in her eyes, pain, excruciating pain flooded her body, her eyes began to water and foam was leaking out of her mouth, it was truly a Gastly scene to behold, Hunter didn't hesitate even for a second, he rushed the boy and slashed at him, only for him to slash at air due to the speed of the enemy.
"Hahaha, is that all you've got, you're going to have to be faster than that Hunter! You managed to kill me once, but that won't happen again, I clawed my way through hell just so I could throw you there!" He shouted at Hunter, who was tending to his old sister, who was still experiencing excruciating pain from the attack.
Holly hissed and said, "Lucius of the lost... How are you even alive?!" She asked.
So this was Lucius, he was even younger than us, how could someone like this be a Delta of such an insane wolf pack like the Krent pack, things weren't adding up at all.
Hunter dropped the unconscious body of his past sister and joined us on the stare down against Lucius.
"I took down the biggest threat to Yuzurp, he has finally announced that it's time to take over the south, and it starts with us destroying all of you!" Lucius shouted and his entire body changed shape drastically.
He turned into his Garou Lycan form and stood on two feet. His black fur was indeed intimidating and so were his red scar patterns and red eyes. He punched the ground and huge cracks rushed towards us but we managed to escape right on time. Holly and Hunter were looking so confused by this action. Could it be that Lucius had gotten stronger from the time that they fought him before? How was I going to be of help, should I be the shift? Should I attack him from a distance? So many questions and yet I didn't get any answers because we were locked in mortal combat with such a brute… However… "Holly... I believe it's better if you take Charlotte and look for any other injured person," he isn’t even looking at us.
"What are you saying?! You can't fight him alone, he's much stronger than last time, we have to fight him together!" Holly shouted.
"She's right, we're your friends, we can help each other get through this, just trust us Hunter," I added.
I'm some damsel in distress, I wasn't going to run away while my friend was in trouble, that's what happened with Kali, and I didn't want Hunter to go through such a thing.
Lucius targeted us and leapt at us from the sky. "Meta Neuralgia?" Lucius broke off parts of his blade and threw them at it, only for Hunter to destroy them but still get scratched a little. The pain was horrible but he didn't back down.
"Fight together... Not for this guy, he's someone who excels at fighting multiple people at once, I can't risk it, you two are the most precious things in the world. I have to fight Lucius alone..." Hunter said as sweat dropped from his forehead.
So basically Hunter would be handling Lucius all by himself, because for some reason he was holding back all this time.
Just how insane was that. I wasn't going to stand for it, but then Holly grabbed my hand and said. "Let's go Charlotte. Hunter! You better not try to sacrifice yourself or something like that!" She shouted and he nodded.
'Wait! Hunter! Don't die... After all this is done, then let's go out again, for a picnic! Don't stop picturing the future!". I said to him before Holly dragged me off.
She had a saddened look on her face and I just accepted that we'd leave Hunter to fight a delta alone, but... I wanted to help him, we could all fight together against this foe. But honestly, looking at it now, Hunter is quite the solo fighter, most of his fights were one on one and he never lost, he doesn't play well with others, but he can definitely go all out if he doesn't have to worry about us getting trapped on his own traps. Hunter was alone with Lucius. The size of his smile was immense.
"Good job, sending those weaklings away, this is between you and me, this rivalry has gone on for so long now Lucius clapped because of Howe things seemed bad.
Hunter's knife began to glow purple and then his wolf ears and tail appeared, making him even stronger and faster than usual. "Hyah!" He rushed Lucius and sword and claw collided again. They kept fighting in the air and on the ground.
Back to back, Lucius never lost his smile while Hunter kept bombarding him with these powerful purple slashes. However, in such an act, at least they weren't cutting exactly what Hunter wanted.
'That's good, keep it up, you want me dead? what a coincidence, I want you dead as well, you're ruining my life and the loves of my Pack mates and for that! I'll destroy you"! Lucius shouted as he charged at Hunter.
