Klaus stood over his balcony In the the highest tower of the castle. Looking into the sky as the sun disappeared into the horizon. Night drew near and with that, a dark chill appeared to his back, and as he turned, a familiar face, or at least a bandaged one.
"Byron? You dare come here, after all that you've done?" Klaus shouted and a cold blue aura covered him.
The Beta of the Krent was flying on top of what looked to be a lycanthrope werewolf but something was off about it, it looked like it was held together by stitches. And it's mixed colors of fur, it's eyes looked dead inside as well.
"What? Aren't you happy to see me, I believe we were once friends, colleagues aiming for the same thing, unity," Byron said smiling.
"Unity? You aren't seeking true unity, what you seek is absolute control over everyone and everything! You are a control freak yet you still bow down to Alpha of the Krent pack!" Klaus yelled and a vein popped from Byron's head causing part of his bandage to turn red.
"Well, sometimes being subservient has its benefits," as Byron snapped his fingers, all around the city, black portals appeared and one in particular was right in front of Klaus.
"Shit!" Before the snow fang alpha could react, a hand grabbed his face and slammed him into the ground.
"Byron, you truly are an asset to our proud wolf pack, now then..." The darkness disappeared revealing the Alpha of the Krent wolf pack, Yuzurp! Looming over Klaus as he lay on the ground.
"Let the carnage begin!" Yuzurp howled and throughout the city, Krent pack Werewolves began to flood the streets and attack people.
Obviously the humans and werewolf were brought back but the sheer amount was just insane. Hunter, Holly and I also had to fight the werewolf that had appeared in the square.
"Why do they keep attacking us during festivals?!" Holly asked as she swung her sword down, slashing about ten werewolves at the same time with her light magic.
Hunter hissed and used his knife to slash the necks of various werewolves. "They just hate the fact that we can actually enjoy life without trampling on others."
They seemed to be really angry, but I understood why, two festivals had been ruined for them by the Krent pack, it was honestly strange how they always attacked at the wrong time, but by now I just believe that's their specialty. Vanessa who was also there seemed even more pissed by the actions of the Krent pack, this was the second time her family had been attacked by the cruel werewolves, the first ended with her losing her life and getting reincarnated.
Memories of the past flooded her mind, the sight of her people being attacked was too much for her to handle.
"Stop it! Stop all of it!" She shouted and literally every single Krent pack werewolf vanished.
We had to look upwards until we figured out what had really happened. Vanessa had teleported every single Krent pack werewolf outside of the city and into the sky and let all of them fall to their death, an entire army was literally just wiped out by a sixteen year old girl, kind of made me jealous but whatever, I'm just glad she's on our side.
In the castle, Klaus was smiling at the display of his daughter, he was so proud of her, despite his beloved mate passing away after childbirth sixteen years ago, she left behind two children; Carmen and Vanessa, he knew Carmen was of his blood, but Vanessa was different , she didn't really look like either Klaus or his late mate, but despite all that, he still loved her as his daughter, and trained her. Carmen wasn't really bothered by her father giving more attention to her twin sister, instead she found comfort in traveling around the area and exploring.
Klaus was grooming Vanessa for the future because her magical ability "Teleportation" had the power to change Thai, and he truly believed in that.
"My daughter is the future, this alliance, it will strive, and today is the day the Krent pack will cease to exist!" He shouted and two blades of ice appeared in his arms and he attacked Yuzurp. The Krent pack alpha tried to attack Klaus with a nuclear punch, however Klaus was too fast, instead his right fist was severely damaged with cut wounds by the Klaus' dual ice swords.
"Tch, you little!" Yuzurp hissed in anger and howled at Klaus, shooting out a green bean of nuclear energy.
Klaus used his blades to deflect the beam into the air, however the strength behind the attack destroyed them and instead of reforming them he turned their broken parks into an ice ball and threw it at Yuzurp:s direction. Yuzurp tried to dodge the attack, the ball exploded and all the Sharp pieces of ice stabbed into his skin, forcing him backwards. Klaus saw his chance to inflict even more damage to his opponent however he remembered a very important thing, he wasn't just fighting one werewolf. The ground around Klaus' feet was literally removed by a blue force field that sucked into a portal.
The alpha would have fallen to his death, if he didn't create an ice platform.
"Don't forget about me now, just because you're fighting the Alpha! I'm just as much of a threat... Even more!" Byron smirked, showing off his shark-like teeth.
Klaus stabilized again, and Yuzurp got up, having healed all his injuries. This wasn't going to be an easy battle at all, but then at that moment something horrible happened as well, something no one expected.
"Also, an Alpha and a beat don't make up a wolf pack, remember we are a werewolf pack after all, we fight together," Byron said.
And on the left side of the castle, right behind Vanessa, another black portal opened up and five long black blades stabbed the girl from behind and caused her to scream in pain. Holly and Hunter get a grim reminder of how strong the Krent pack was, because the Deltas had entered the fray. And their old enemy, Lucius of the lost, had returned.
