Chapter 25 Please go ahead

Chapter 25 Please go ahead
Danieru was seen pacing back and forth in front of the examination room. He was irritated because the doctor hadn't come out yet. He was eager to go in and ask what he was doing taking so long.

Danieru then chose to sit down, leaning back and closing his eyes. He had even forgotten to put on shoes when he brought Camilla there. Danieru looked disheveled, his face still looking haggard, and his body was covered only by a pair of white shorts.

"I even forgot to dress properly." Danieru felt at risk as many nurses deliberately stole glances at him. He was also aware that his upper body was quite tempting to women.

Finally, the door, which had been closed for an hour, opened. A handsome doctor stood staring at Danieru. He walked over and sat down next to him. He then handed him the hot coffee he had brought, knowing that Danieru wouldn't calm down until he had some.

"Do you want to make all the women and young girls in this hospital dream of being your mistress?" the doctor asked.

"How's my wife?" Danieru asked.

"Get your coffee, and then I'll explain something to you."

"Ryota, I don't have time to play around with you." Danieru turned to his friend.

"Do you think I'm joking with you?"

Danieru reluctantly accepted the coffee Ryota offered him and then opened the liquid inside.

"Explain what happened? Is my wife okay?" Danieru asked. He didn't drink the coffee right away; he wanted to check on Camilla first.

"Camilla has a miscarriage every month. If you don't want that to happen, you should plant a seed soon. Camilla can last for about nine months after the seed is successful."

"What do you mean?" Danieru asked.

Ryota felt his friend was truly stupid.

"Explain!"

Ryota stared. "Finish that coffee, then put on my clothes. I brought some, and they're in my room."

Ryota then stood up, and the man shoved both hands into his pockets. He paused, then looked at Danieru.

“Aren’t you going to stand?” Ryota asked.

“Didn’t you ask me to finish my coffee first?”

“Finish it outside my office, idiot!” Ryota rolled his eyes, annoyed that Danieru’s brain had suddenly slowed down.

“You didn’t explain it in detail,” Danieru said, standing up and following Ryota.

Ryota, who received such an answer, stared lazily at Danieru. He found the man truly annoying. When would he ever see Danieru serious?

Danieru was already near Ryota, walking ahead of him while enjoying his coffee. Ryota, watching Danieru’s behavior, could only calm his head. The man then followed Danieru, still not speaking.

A few minutes of walking, Ryota and Danieru arrived at Ryota’s office. The two immediately entered and closed the door.

Ryota hurried to get clothes for Danieru, while Danieru chose to sit. The man placed his coffee pot on the table. Ryota's room was very comfortable, and he hadn't even imagined his friend would succeed his father and become the head of the hospital.

Ryota was the son of a private hospital owner, and the man also worked with his company. They had been friends for a long time, and there were two other people who became their friends. Perhaps this was due to their collaboration, and that was also how they got to know each other.

For some reason, Danieru thought they were just acquaintances, and said the friend was just a formality because he didn't know what to call Ryota. But Ryota had been a good person to him in every way.

"Put it on, I still have plenty of clothes here."

Danieru looked at the clothes Ryota had given him, then grabbed them and looked at him.

"Bathroom," Danieru said. It wasn't a questioning tone, but rather a curt one that seemed very annoying to the person he was talking to.

"The door by the window, that's the bathroom."

Danieru immediately stood up, needing to clean himself first. The man couldn't stand his dirty body; he felt self-conscious.

After Danieru left, Ryota immediately headed to the bookshelf. There was a book he had to give to Danieru, and hopefully, he would be smarter next time.

After a long search, Ryota finally found the book. He immediately grabbed it and placed it on the table.

Ryota waited a few minutes for Danieru to finish his shower, checking some incoming reports.

Knock...
Knock...
Knock...

A knock on the door made Ryota look away from the report. He immediately stood up, walked to the entrance, and opened it.

“Chief Doctor, I’ve brought the items you ordered a while ago.” The nurse handed Ryota a package, and then smiled as Ryota smiled back.

“Thank you,” Ryota replied.

“Excuse me.”

“Please go ahead,” Ryota said.

The nurse quickly left Ryota’s presence, and Ryota re-entered the room and closed the door. The man looked at Danieru, who had also just emerged from the bathroom, looking much better now.

“What’s in your hands?” Danieru asked.

“Slippers and clothes for your wife. You’re really too much, even carrying your wife’s body without covering her with better clothing.”

Danieru scratched his head, which didn’t itch at all. The man then sat back down, while Ryota hurried toward him.

“Finish your coffee, and take this.” Ryota handed over the items in his hand, then walked over to the table and sat down to review the report.

“I found something strange while testing your wife’s blood. Did you give her the winning injection?” Ryota asked.

“Yes, Camilla seems to have some trauma. I did that because she reacted strangely last night,” Danieru replied. The man drank his coffee quickly, not wanting to waste any more time.

Ryota sighed. “If that’s the case, you should take her to Ritsuki immediately. I’m sure that bastard has a way to deal with Camilla, certainly not a sedative.”

“Um... Ryota, was that what caused Camilla’s miscarriage?”

Ryota didn’t know what to say now; Danieru really needed to read a book about women. Ryota grabbed the book in front of him, stood up, and walked toward Danieru.

“Yes, Camilla did have a miscarriage. But it wasn’t because of the fetus; it was a normal monthly cycle that happens to women.”

“Isn’t the bottom line still a miscarriage?” Danieru asked.

“Do you know about menstruation?” Ryota asked.

Danieru quickly shook his head, and the action made Ryota want to throw his friend into the Arctic.

“I really want to kill you right now. But I realize your wife will become a widow, and I don’t want to do that.”

Danieru gave him a confused look. “I’m not a doctor, and I don’t know much about what happens to a woman’s body.”

"Here, you can read it." Ryota handed Danieru the book.

'Understanding Everything About Women' was the title on the front of the book, and honestly, it made Danieru look a little confused. The book was quite thick, and it would definitely be tiring to read.

"We'd better go see your wife soon," Ryota said.

Danieru, impatient, stood up. He took the things Ryota had given him and looked at the book in his hands. It wouldn't hurt to try, and he might find the answer, and perhaps even understand Camilla better.

The two then left, not saying much on their way to Camilla's treatment room. There was nothing particularly important, and they seemed lost in their own thoughts.

Ryota and Danieru didn't realize they were already in front of Camilla's room, and they hurried inside when a nurse opened the door. They both entered, looking at Camilla.

"How is she?" Danieru asked the nurse who had been in the room caring for Camilla.

"Sir, your wife is fine. It's just that what happened just now is normal for a woman."

"Go out, let her wife explain herself." Ryota waved his hand, not wanting the nurse to talk too much and let Danieru know too much. He couldn't wait to see Danieru's wife's reaction when she regained consciousness.

"Excuse me," the nurse quickly excused herself.

"Why don't you let the nurse explain?" Danieru asked.

"It would be wonderful if your wife could explain." Ryota then smiled.

“This is suspicious,” Danieru said.

“In any case, it’s best for you to think clearly. I know you’re worried, so any explanation won’t sink in.”

The two men continued talking, waiting for Camilla to wake up. And that hope was soon realized when Camilla opened her eyes. Danieru was overjoyed and approached Camilla and helped her sit up.

“Are you okay? What hurts? Why didn’t you tell me you were pregnant? Don’t you respect me as a husband? Do you want to drive me crazy with fear?” Danieru asked shamelessly.

Camilla didn’t react, just listening to everything Danieru was saying.

“I was so worried!” Danieru insisted. He immediately hugged Camilla, closed his eyes, and felt himself slowly calm down.

“I’m fine,” Camilla said.

“Don’t lie, it must have hurt a lot.”

“Let go of the hug, I want to talk.”

Danieru immediately released his embrace, while Camilla stroked his cheek, forcing him to focus solely on her eyes.

“Try to think clearly, I’m sure you’re not stupid.”

Danieru stared at Camilla more intently.

“Stop panicking, I’m fine, and I didn’t miscarry. Do you know the word ‘menstruation’?”

Slowly, Danieru began to come back to his senses, his previously chaotic mind starting to become more reliable.

“Do you understand?” Camilla asked.

Platak...

Camilla immediately smacked Danieru’s head, pinching his aquiline nose quite hard.

“Aaaa... Camilla, are you trying to kill me?”

“You really are stupid, why did I have to marry a man like you, huh?”

“I was so panicked, and it’s natural that my thoughts were in disarray.”

“You’re so stupid, you really piss me off! You should have asked me in the car earlier, you didn’t even listen to me and told me to shut up! You’re embarrassing, is this going to go down in the annals of human stupidity? You’re really!”

Ryota, watching the couple bicker, couldn't help but smile. He hadn't expected Danieru to be so moved by a woman he once knew to be so cold. Who didn't know Camilla Alistair, the incredibly famous socialite, even on the list of wealthy men's dream women?

"Camilla, stop, you're hurting me."

"No way, I'm going to torture you now."

"Okay, I'm sorry. I'll listen to you more often, I promise."

Camilla stopped her actions and smiled as Danieru looked at her again.

"Can we go home?" Camilla asked.

"Where do you want to go?" Danieru asked.

"To the mansion, I have some things I want to discuss with you."

"Okay, you should change your clothes first."

"Ahem..." Ryota, who had been watching the two of them, immediately stepped closer.

They both looked at him.

“Danieru, I have to get back to work. And congratulations on your wedding. I couldn’t make it yesterday, and that was really annoying.”

Camilla just smiled, realizing there was someone else in the room.

“Okay, thank you. I’ll transfer some money to your account right away,” Danieru said.

“Okay, I won’t refuse.” Ryota immediately smiled and left, leaving the newlyweds alone.

Danieru and Camilla, now alone, looked at each other, then chuckled.

“You look stupid today,” Camilla said.

“You got me to do that,” Danieru replied.

Camilla shook her head and quickly removed the patient gown she was wearing, while Danieru took out the clothes Ryota had ordered for his wife.

“Did you buy them?” Camilla asked. She immediately reached for the white minidress Danieru had pulled out.

“No, I was too panicked and didn’t think about it. I even left my phone and wallet at Mom’s.”

“Do you want to get our things first?” Camilla asked.

Danieru thought for a moment, then shook his head. "That's just my spare phone, and the wallet only contains a few bills."

"Then what about my things?" Camilla asked.

"I'll send someone to get them." Danieru smiled and helped Camilla get dressed. The man froze when he saw Camilla's ample breasts, realizing how tempting they were.

Danieru quickly dismissed his dirty thoughts and quickly continued with his task. The man smiled when Camilla was properly dressed. He quickly reached for her and carried her.

"Hug me, and help me hold the things Ryota gave me."

"Okay," Camilla said. She immediately hugged Danieru, placing the items he had mentioned on her stomach. She didn't forget to rest her head on his broad chest.

Danieru stepped forward, and he and Camilla quickly left the room. Danieru didn't care that many people were staring at him; he continued walking out, not really bothered by the many people taking pictures of the two of them. It was understandable, as he and Camilla had been a hot topic lately, eclipsing Hatsu and Rachel's popularity.

"Camilla," Danieru called out as they reached the hospital lobby.

"What's wrong?" Camilla asked.

"If you like or dislike something, please tell me; don't keep quiet."

"I understand." Camilla closed her eyes, and with that, they exited the hospital building.
