Chapter 17 Okay, I’ll go

Chapter 17 Okay, I’ll go
After Camilla's drowning, Danieru observed her movements. He sensed something strange when she drowned, as generally, someone who couldn't swim wouldn't drown like Camilla.

Camilla didn't seem to attempt to save herself; she was frozen and shocked by the situation. Furthermore, he could see her eyes open, her expression blank, as if remembering something terrible.

Danieru assumed Camilla had suffered a significant trauma. Perhaps that was what had caused her to become so depressed that she couldn't remember to save herself.

"You keep watching me, like I'm a thief."

Danieru, caught off guard, quickly came out of hiding. "I-I, I was just stealing a glance at my future wife. Is that wrong?"

Camilla stared lazily, clearly confused by Danieru's strange excuse. As far as she knew, their relationship wasn't that perfect.

She couldn't fall in love, knowing she would only bring terrible things to the man she loved. As for Danieru, Camilla knew he was stuck in a past love. Those two things were enough to make it clear they would never have a special relationship.

“We don’t have a special relationship, just friends and colleagues. Are you starting to fall in love with me? If so, I’ll leave now, and our wedding is off.” Camilla grinned, then looked into the mirror.

Danieru, hearing Camilla’s words, really wanted to kick her ass. What did falling in love have to do with caring about someone? The two were clearly very different things.

The man then chose to sit down and stare at his bed, which was still very messy because Camilla had just woken up and hadn’t tidied it up. Ah... his eyes hurt seeing things that weren’t perfect. He wanted to get angry, but Camilla wasn’t feeling well.

“Okay, I’ll go.” Camilla immediately stood up, not wanting to linger near Danieru.

“You misunderstand, I’m not thinking about falling in love with a stupid woman like you.” Danieru was a little annoyed that Camilla had made such a far-fetched assumption.

"Then why are you looking at me like that?" Camilla asked. He crossed his arms, his eyes staring at Danieru closely.

“Are you starting to have the energy to argue with me?” Danieru asked.

“Just answer my question.”

“What question?” Danieru asked with an innocent expression that undoubtedly annoyed Camilla.

“Never mind, I don’t want to talk about it. But I still have to go out; there are some things I need to finish.” Camilla walked to the dressing table, grabbed her small bag, checked it first, and smiled when it was complete.

“You’re sick, where are you going?” Danieru asked.

Camilla exhaled sharply. “Looking for a gigolo. I need them before this illness flares up.”

“Are you crazy? What if the paparazzi follow you? Everything will be ruined, and I’ll have to suffer the shame.”

Camilla thought for a moment. “Oh, shit! Why did I have to get caught up in something stupid like this?”

“I can treat you, so don’t even think about leaving.”

Camilla, hearing Danieru’s words, looked quickly. "I'm not a cat, and I don't want to meow like I did yesterday!"

Danieru, hearing Camilla's words, scratched his head, which wasn't itchy at all. "I didn't imagine you were a cat back then either."

"Excuse me, just tell me you have a sexual disorder. Huh... I want to go, I guarantee no paparazzi will see me."

Danieru immediately stood up, grabbed Camilla's hand, and pushed her onto the bed, then pinned her down.

Camilla, now under Danieru's control, couldn't contain her surprise. She looked at him, but unfortunately, their eyes met.

"You?"

"If I say no, then don't ever disobey me!"

"You want me to die slowly? You won't understand how it feels."

"I can accommodate your madness. I'm doing this because I don't want you to ruin my reputation!"

Camilla was stunned. Right... she could ruin Danieru's reputation if paparazzi or anyone else saw her. Camilla smiled bitterly, remembering someone whose reputation had been ruined by something like this.

She had once tried to open her heart, but then the man she loved did something unexpected.

"Don't look at me, get out now, and lock this room door from there. I'm not leaving, no matter what you hear, don't ever help me. I can get through this if I keep trying."

Danieru couldn't accept Camilla's words.

“Get out!” Camilla insisted.

“Camilla, I—”

“Get out! Don’t help me, I can handle it as long as you don’t bother me.”

“I—”

“Please get out, I’m going to have a relapse soon, and you’re not allowed in this room!” Camilla insisted.

Danieru, seeing Camilla’s behavior, became irritated. He seemed to refuse to accept her request to leave.

“Doggie, I beg you. Get out, I don’t want you to think of me as a female cat.”

“First, don’t interrupt me!” Danieru insisted.

Camilla began to feel uncomfortable, and she restrained her overreaction.

“This is my room, and you should go to the other room.”

Camilla and Danieru's eyes met again, and Camilla felt utterly foolish. The woman pushed Danieru away from her. After Danieru was knocked out, Camilla stood up and reached for her bag.

Danieru, watching Camilla's behavior, felt a little strange. But he wasn't going to let her leave and ruin his reputation.

"I said don't go!" Danieru insisted.

Camilla glared at him again. "I HAVE TO GO TO ANOTHER ROOM, BECAUSE THIS IS YOURS!"

"I thought you were going to go out." Danieru chuckled, embarrassed by Camilla's stare.

"You think I'm a stupid woman who would resist? You're the ruler, and I'm just a woman you just bought." Camilla looked away and sat up.

"Camilla," Danieru rebuked.

"WHAT ELSE? WHAT, HAH?" Camilla asked.

Danieru covered his ears, even closing his eyes because Camilla's voice was so loud.

CRACK!

The sound of the door closing so harshly caused Danieru to open his eyes after a few moments.

“That woman is truly strange,” Danieru said, staring at the tightly closed door.

Meanwhile, Camilla felt her body growing hot. She covered her eyes as she felt the urge. Camilla's mind began to blur, images replaying in her mind. Moans echoed.

“Oh, shit! I hate this.” Camilla walked faster, searching for a room she could use to sleep and endure this insanity.

When she saw another door, which was firmly closed, a sense of excitement began to pull her closer.

“Camilla, wait a minute.” Danieru, who had been standing behind Camilla for some unknown reason, spoke up. He grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his room.

“Why... ah... I have to find another room.”

“I'll sleep outside. There's only one bedroom in this mansion.”

“What?”

"Since I have no plans to get married, I only made one bedroom."

The two of them entered the room. Danieru let go of Camilla's hand and stared at her.

"Why are you staring at me?" Camilla asked.

"Huh... I just see the face of a fool." Danieru then left the room. He closed the door and locked it from the outside.

Camilla, however, didn't bother to pay attention. She quickly put down her bag, lay down on the bed, and covered herself with the blanket. She could handle it; she had to fight the urge with all her might.
