CHAPTER 14—Jake
I’ve never seen Olivia look this excited about going somewhere so it makes me uneasy. Like she’s going to pull a stunt, especially after our little exchange.
Except our exchange wasn’t that little to me. I still remember the way her body responded to mine.
Olivia says she’s not attracted to men, not into me but it’s undeniable how much her body wants me.
The way her cheeks flush and a blush rises from her neck to the parting of her lips. Inviting me to taste their cherry sweetness.
But, there’s always this little but at the back of my head whenever it came to Olivia.
It’s obvious Kyle is not so happy with the club idea, but I think he prefers it to staying in my apartment while Olivia and I argued.
When she steps out in her cargo pants and tiny straps of clothing that cover her boobs just fair enough, I know that it’ll be a long eventful night.
The club is crowded when we finally make it in. Loud music instantly attacks my ear as colored lights danced across my face.
Olivia doesn’t waste a time leaving our little group and heading to the bar.
`“You’re forgetting yourself” Kyle says with a pat on my shoulder.
“What do you mean?” I shrug his hand off when it remains there.
“With Olivia, you’re not following the plan” he clarifies as he finds a private booth where we sit down. The view is perfect because I can see Olivia clearly as she downs her shots. Sexy.
“We’re set to get married soon; the plan couldn’t be going better” I counter. I’m not sure where he’s going with this, but it won’t be pretty.
Kyle scoffs before a frown sets deep on his face, “Stop acting like you don’t know what I’m talking about man! I see the way you look at her now, it’s different”
“How then do I look at her? Because I have no single clue what you’re talking about.” I make sure the said girl is still in my line of vision before turning back to Kyle.
“You look at her like she’s water and you’re stuck in a desert” he hisses, and I know he’s really pissed because Kyle never loses his cool.
“Just say what you want to say” I tell him before myself a drink.
“You like her” he states like it’s a known fact.
“Sorry to interrupt whatever is going on in your head but I don’t. You know why she’s here, it’s strictly just the contract.”
We both know that I’m lying. That when my eyes search for her again and I see her walking over to some girl with heavy eye liner.
They are both staring at each other. The only problem is Olivia is looking at her like she’s a snack that she has to devour.
“You see what I’m saying” Kyle shouts in my ear when the music gets too loud “You look like you want to murder them both.”
Kyle is wrong. I want to murder only the mystery girl so that I can take Olivia home and show her how much of me she was denying herself.
To show her that I wasn’t just any man, that I was in fact the only man that she was and would ever be attracted to. Other girls be damned!
“She’s not capable of liking me back so you have nothing to worry about” I say.
“Stop watching her like a creep then” Kyle says as he casts me a sympathetic look before excusing himself to use the rest room.
I sip my drink.
Olivia is dancing with her now, body pressed so tight against each other they looked like one.
Why couldn’t she just be like every other girl that fell at my feet. I shake my head. If I continue down this road, it’s going to be destructive.
Someone squeals close to me, and I turn to see a familiar face.
“You didn’t tell me you would be here” The girl squeals again and goes in to hug me.
In all honesty I don’t even remember her but it’s too late to say anything because she’s seated beside me and her friends, ones I didn’t notice earlier has taken a seat in the booth.
She places long manicured fingers on my arm “You didn’t call me after we spent the night together, is that some kind of rule with you?” She asks, smacking her chewing gum so loud that I hear it over the music.
“Kinda” I answer. I need to get out of here.
No name girl touches the front of my pants at the same time I watch the mysterious girl grind her backside on Olivia who is holding her waist as close as possible.
“You really did miss me didn’t you?” the girl whispers.
I’m about to shake my head when I see the bugle in my pants. She thought I was hard for her.
I take a bigger sip this time as I keep watching them with the girl beside me cupping me through the material of my pants.
Olivia’s hands are wandering until her fingers find themselves under mysterious girl’s boobs.
I want to look away, but I can’t. The slow body movement makes me stretch in my pants until it passes the point of discomfort into pain.
There’s a wet lick at the back of my ear “Want me to take care of that?” No name girl asks as her hand keeps rubbing me.
She starts to open my zipper, but my hand stops her at the same time Olivia’s head dips, and she kisses mysterious girl.
I jump out of my seat and walk straight to her. I’m not just going to sit down on the sidelines and watch her make out with some random girl while I wished it was me.
I put my hands in their middle and push them apart with it.
“Hey” Olivia whines while her partner glares at me.
“We have to leave now” I tell, “It’s getting late.”
“We only just got here besides why are you in a hurry?” Olivia asks, her words coming out slowly and I hate that she can’t just shut up and follow me.
“We have this thing with father in the morning, so we need to crash early” It’s clearly a lie but she does not know that.
“Give me a little time” Olivia slurs and touches mysterious girl’s cheek “Natalie here wants to hang with me all night and…”
I don’t wait for her to finish; I just grab her hand and find myself dragging her across the club and outside.
Kyle is standing beside the car already, like he expected this to happen.
He opens the door for me, and I carry Olivia inside. She’s drunk so she doesn’t put up much of a fight like she normally would.
When I get into the car and sit beside her, she leans into my side. her forehead creases which means she’s thinking hard about something.
With the way her eyes are flickering to my face, it’s no doubt that I am a part of whatever thought she’s having.
Kyle pulls out from the parking lot, and we head home.
“Are you alright?” I ask Olivia after a while when she doesn’t say anything.
She nods, putting her hands on her laps as she plays with her fingers.
I turn to her “Look if it’s about the girl at the club…”
Olivia kisses me.
I’ve wanted to taste her lips for so long that when it finally meets mine I freeze. She keeps kissing me for a few seconds before she realizes that I’m not cooperating.
She pulls away.
I’m quick to pull her back to me and give her a punishing kiss. For having her hands all over someone else I kiss her harder.
“Jake” Kyle’s warning voice calls from the driver seat “You should stop now before you ruin everything. In a few months she’ll be leaving, what will you do then? What you’re doing now isn’t part of the contract.”
I come up for air “Fuck the contract Kyle, We can just leave in the moment.”
If he says something else after that I don’t hear it because Olivia’s hands are all over me and it’s driving me wild.
The car barely comes to a stop when I get down from the car and carry Olivia with me up the elevator.
She giggles “No one has ever carried me before” she confesses and buries her face into my neck.
I smile and kiss her cheek “I’m not sure if I should be happy, or sad for you” I reply.
“Happy” She whispers “I’m happy that it’s you” she looks at me with her huge eyes and I can’t take it anymore. It breaks my resolve.
The moment we step into the safety of my apartment I have her pinned to the door.
Her top comes off and her boobs spring forward. They look even better without the lingerie on.
I cup them in my hands and give a little squeeze.
A soft gasp falls from her lips, and I know that I’m ruined. I want to hear it every day. I carry her into my room and lay her on the bed.
I strip my shirt away and lower myself in between her legs.
She grabs my face immediately and kisses my jaw, sealing my neck with her hot kisses. No one will ever kiss me the way she does.
Her teeth graze the corner of my neck and I shiver momentarily. At this pace it won’t be too long before I lose total control.
My hands trail her side and find the curve under a boob before grabbing the wholeness of it in my hand.
She kisses my throat, “Oh Natalie, you’re the best I’ve tasted in while” she says and my blood runs cold. Is she that drunk that she thinks I’m someone else?
I push myself off her.
All those sounds, the gasps, the whimpers, it wasn’t for me. It was for someone else.
I feel even worse now, I was taking advantage of her drunk state without knowing. What kind of person was I?
I cover her up with my duvet and head straight to the bathroom to handle my still raging junk.
Cold water on my skin did the magic and made me realize just how guilty I felt. I should’ve respected her enough to keep away knowing that she had consumed alcohol.
When I got under the duvet later, I made sure to stay at my end of the bed where we would have no contact.
But as the night went on, her body found its way back to me.
