I wake up to the noise of rain falling on the roof, it's one of my favourite noises especially if you're in a quiet place to begin with. I take a deep breath in and the smell of Karma fills my nostrils, fuck she smells good and her smell always lingers even if she isn't in the room. Last night she finally slept in the same bed as me, which is weird considering my dicks inside her every second day and were literally married but I wanted her to be 10000% comfortable with me, not feel like she had to do it because of the situation we found ourselves in, and if that means waiting forever just to have her sleep in my bed than I'll fucking do it because there is not a single soul on this earth that I want in my bed other than her. I roll onto my side and scoop her into my arms, I watch as she continues to sleep peacefully, I think this is the longest she's ever slept, well the longest that I know of anyways.

I slowly creep out of bed and head for the kitchen, now that I can actually see and kinda care about what the place looks like I'm somewhat stunned, were in the side of a fucking mountain. Everythings natural coloured or black, exposed rock face, lots of natural lighting too. And when you look out of every window were surrounded by forrest, not other houses, no roads, nothing, just nature at its absolute best.

I make us a coffee each and some bacon, eggs and toast before attempting to sneak back into the bedroom, I carry it all on a tray and place it on the bedside table before climbing back under the sheets and pulling her into my arms again. I know I need to wake her up before the food goes cold but I cant stop staring at her face and features, without a single drop of make up she is the most gorgeous creature to roam this planet, her skins smooth and clear without any effort, her hairs always soft and lucious, and her lips, god don't get me started on her lips.

"Stop staring at me" She grumbles as she opens one eye, "Good morning leonessa" I hum leaning down to kiss her lips, when I sit back up I watch her mouth curl into a small smile. "You hungry?" I ask looking over to the plates of food, knowing in my heart it's going cold and I need to eat it ASAP. "Starving actually" She replies before taking a big deep breath, "Oh god what smells good?" She questions sitting up in bed while rubbing her weary eyes. I lean over here and grab the tray putting it infront of both of us, I hope I didn't fuck it up, I almost never cook. She turns to me with big doe eyes and I have to restrain myself from fucking the absolute shit out of her, "You cooked this?" She asks looking to the tray and than to me. I can feel my face begin to burn almost like I'm blushing, wait... what if I am blushing?! "Uh- yeah" I reply with a small laugh, "I just hope it's edible".

She smiles and leans over kissing my cheek "I'm sure it's edible Vin, come on let's eat" She says eagerly while rubbing her hands together, as much as a pussy I sound like the words just come out of my mouth without a second thought "I love you, Karma", Maybe I just wanted to make sure she remembered saying it last night, maybe I just wanted to know if she actually feels the same way or maybe I just want to hear here say it back, but I say it anyways, looking into her eyes so she knows I fucking mean it. She turns her body to face mine and raises on of her hands to my face softly caressing it, "I love you too Vincenzo" She replys before reaching for a coffee cup and passing it to me, she picks up hers and we clink them together like you would with a glass of wine "Cheers" I reply stupidly without a thought, she smiles again and trys to supress a laugh, "Cheers to.... Cheers to us" She hums in satisfaction.

For the next hour or so we sit in bed, watching the world go on through the windows. Talking shit about everything and anything, feeding eachother bacon and eggs like an old married couple would and arguing like an old married couple would. "I cant believe you farted in the bed" Karma basically screeches as she holds her hand over her nose, "Baby what am I supposed to do? It just happened. Just wanted to give you some extra seasoning" I explain while laughing at her reaction, "Vin it literally smells like a woodland creature crawled up your ass and died". After that we had a shower and got dressed for the day, soon we start our honeymoon/work trip across the world, I'm nervous about the toll it's going to take on all of us, it's hard enough to travel with just the boys, add Karma into the mix and especially on a bad day and the planes gonna crash into the fucking ground over something stupid like a bobby pin.

Once I'm dressed I head into the loungeroom to see Karma sitting on the couch, staring out the window at the wilderness. I sit down behind her and wrap my arms aroundher body pulling her into me, I instantly know somethings off, her whole bodys tense. "What's wrong Mi Amore?" I ask moving her hair away from her neck and planting soft kisses there instead, she sits there silently for a few seconds before responding. "Vin, I don't think it's a good idea to be traveling around, even if it is a 'honeymoon'" She explains, she takes a deep breath and sinks into my chest even more. "Can I ask why?" I reply trying to read her face but she's just staring aimlessly out the window, "If they're going to try and take me or kill me in a country that's 90% secure do you not think they will defiantly try and take me or kill me in a country that's 0% secure? If I'm going to fight her it's to be on my own terms, not when she finds the right moment for her".

I stay silent and absorb the information she's telling me and shes right, even if I tried to secure the country we were planning on visting there's no deffinant way that I can know that she will be safe, I need to do what's best for her and what's best is her staying where she's safe and where her home is, which is Italy. "You're right, it's not fair on you to be on guard 24/7. We can honeymoon at any point in our lives, for now we focus on our own health, the mafia and our relationship, everything else can wait" I reply looking out at the window to the tall trees swaying in the breeze, "And your clients?" She asks as she holds onto my hand and interlocks our fingers together. I shrug "If the business is worth it they will travel here, if not than the business isn't worth it", We sit in silence for awhile before she speaks again "Thank you Vin, I appreciate it", "Anything for you leonessa" I hum in reply.

The doorbell to the house rings, Karma jumps out of skin and looks at me with the most fear I've seen in her eyes since I've known her, I go to get my gun from the coffee table but the intercom starts speaking and I soon realise theres no need to panic. "ACEEEEEEE" Iggys voice calls through the speaker, "OOOHHH AACCEEEYYY BOOOOOOOOOIIIIIII" He calls out again before we hear a scuffle, "KARMA, OPEN THE BLOODY DOOR BEFORE I KILL HIM" Nonna's voice screams through next, "WAIT I NEED TO ASK THEM A QUESTION" Iggy butts back in, "DO Y'ALL HAVE FOOD IN THERE?", Again we hear someone smack the other, to which I imagine it would be nonna smacking Iggy, "GET OUT OF THE WAY FATTY, VINCENZO DID YOU MAKE GRANDBABIES WITH HER OR NOT?" Nonna's voice comes back through, I look to Karma whos face is as red as tomato "I told you we had to repay her with grandbabies" I joke.

I get up and go to the front door, when I answer it Nonna and Iggy are bickering back and forth, Nonna's slapping him with her hand bag and Iggy's sooking because Nonna carrys about 3000000 things in her handbag that makes it feel like a 50kg weight when it smacks your head or body, "Let me in before she kills me" Iggy basically cries pushing past me and running down the hallway, "YOU'D BE EVER SO LUCKY IF I DID" Nonna yells back rasing her balled up fist, "Good morning Nonna" I say watching her shuffle past me and down the hallway. "It's so dark in here, why isn't there any white? Did you make a baby Vincenzo? Have you two eaten? Do I need to cook you breakfast? Do you's need anything cleaned? I can help clean" She mumbles, It's gonna be a long morning huh.

"So tell me again why you don't want a honeymoon?" Nonna scolds us looking between Karma and I, "Because its safer not to right now" Karma replys for the 50th time, "But why not? You're both strong and powerful, no one will touch you let alone speak to you!" She frowns smacking her hands down onto the table, "Because Nonna, we will have one at a later date but for now it's not needed, we have bigger issues to deal with" Karma sighs heavily. "You know what Vin? I'll explain everything to Nonna and you show Igloo around since he looks like hes about to jump out of his skin with excitement" Karma somewhat pleads. I look to Iggy who is currently wide eyed and looking over over the place like a child that's having their first sugar high, I nod my head, lean over and give Karma a kiss on the forehead before excusing Iggy and I from the table.

I show him around the house which Is somewhat like showing my self around the house since I still have no fucking idea what rooms are where. We get to the outdoor deck and look over the decking, pool and surrounding woods, "This place is fucking amazing" Iggy says while taking in the view, "Yeah it's pretty good" I reply putting my hands into my pockets. "You alright man? You seem... different" He questions turning to face me, I know I've gotta tell him sooner or later, better to do it now so he can get all of the shit out of his system before returning to my parents place. "Yeah... I'm great actually" I beg before a wide smile spreads across my face "Damn Ace I've never seen you smile like that" Iggy replys while studying me, "What's got you all giddy and shit?" He asks taking out a cigarette, lighting it and inhaling it.

"I told Karma that I love her, and she said she loves me back" I reply while rubbing the back of my head still in some type of disbelief. I watch as Iggy's face drop before it lights back up again, it's like he's moving in slow motion, he throws his arms into the air and starts jumping up and down like an idiot, "OH MY GOD, YOU DID IT!! YOU DID IT YOU CRAZY BASTARD" He yells still jumping up and down, "ACE, HOLY SHIT" He yells again. The slding door opens and Karma sticks her head out to see what's going on, Iggy spins on his feet and points at Karma "YOUS FUCKING LOVE EACHOTHER, I KNEW IT! I KNEW IT! KARMA AND THE CAPO SITTING IN A TREE K-I-S-S-I-N-G FIRST MARRIAGE, SECOND COMES LOVE THRID COMES A BABY IN A BABYS CARRIAGE" He sings while hopping from one foot to the other like an excited school child, I must admit the fact he change the original lyrics to ones that fit our lives makes me laugh but Karma doesn't find it as funny as I do.

"jesus Iggy remind me not to ever tell you a secret since everything within a 50km radious of here now knows!" She exclaims throwing her hands in the air while walking towards us, oh Igloo this is not a fight you want to pick. "NOW NONNA CAN HAVE HER GRANDBABIES!!!" He screams again, "AND I CAN BE UNCLE IGGY" He realises before tunring both to us "ACE HURRY UP AND PUT A BABY IN THAT UTERUS!" He yells pointing at Karma's stomach and by now she's had more than enough, just as he turns around to do another happy dance she pushes him in the back with enough force that he falls into the pool and sinks down to the bottom.

We stand there for a few seconds waiting for him to come back up but he doesn't, "Vin... can he swim?" She asks looking to me nervously, shit.... can he swim? yeah, I'm pretty sure he can. "Yeah he can leonessa" I ressure her as he begins to resurface, as soon as his head comes out of the water he takes the deepest breath in and begins to sing right from his lungs.

"JUST CALLLLLLL MEEEEEEE, UNCLEEEEE IGGGGGGGGGGYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY".
