CHAPTER 46

The next day, my head was hot when I entered my office. How come Amir allowed Kimberly to sleep in the children's suite room. Just the first night, Kimberly is already hanging around! What if it comes back later?

"Sure. And your fruit juice? Is it orange, pineapple, mango or watermelon?" The waiter asked.

"Orange will be fine," replied Rhea.

"How about the eggs? Poached, scrambled, boiled or omelette?" The waiter asked again.

Rhea decided to take a closer look at the menu and go straight to her choices for hot beverages. "You're hotter than coffee, can I order you instead?" She jested and he smiled before leaving. "He's cute," Rhea said when the waiter left.

"Ah, that's why you didn't refuse to accompany me," I told him.

"Of course," Rhea answered me without hesitation.

"It's you," I said. "But wait, it seems like our order is fast. Look, he's coming back here."

"Oh yes," said Rhea and he just stared when the waiter placed his order of American breakfast. "Gosh, it's all mine?"

"That's american breakfast," I told him and the waiter just smiled. When it comes to breakfast, it's worth the customer's payment at Khalifa because it's sure to fill you up. "Enjoy," I said to Rhea before I started eating. There are also many foods in front of me. The menu says it's only good for one, but the serving is actually good for sharing.

"Why am I the only one with fruits?" Rhea asked.

"Because we can't afford it," I answered. "But that's okay, we both have a basket of bread, eh." But of course the pastries ordered by Rhea are more social. To me, it's just bread. You can do it!" I said.

After we ate, Rhea could barely walk back to the office. For the time being, I forgot my crush on Amir. The opposite is just food.

"In fifteen minutes, let's start working." I said to Rhea who still seemed to have a hard time breathing. "Why did you use it up, you can wrap it!"

I just smiled at the employees who greeted me at the pantry. "Maybe you haven't had breakfast yet, eat before work." I reminded them all.

"That's good," I said and then said goodbye to them.

I know that Khalifa has many competitors throughout the city but it has never happened that we have hired someone and resigned to move to another hotel.
