Chapter 188 ROCKSTAR!
AURORA’S POINT OF VIEW.
“Really?” he asked, stepping behind me. I felt every bit of his body heat against mine; his hands stopped at my back for a second before they dropped to my waist.
He had me dressed in a short skirt that got to the middle of my thigh, and a sleeveless corset. I was used to the big clothes Morgan and Densie shamed me into putting on….seeing my body for the first time in years…..it made me confront everything I struggled to hide.
Kai’s hands trailed deliciously slowly down my back until they stopped right at my lower waist. He pulled me back, his head leaning over mine. I felt trapped with each second I stared into his dark eyes, they were full of… passion, desire, hunger, angst…everything that both scared and thrilled me.
I swallowed, his fingers leaving goosebumps all over my arms. “I…..think it’s too short, Kai.”
He chuckled, breathing a trail up my neck. He'd made sure I was lathered in expensive vanilla-scented perfume before I got dressed. “You have spent a long time trying to live in Morgan’s shadow because your father commanded it.
You do not have to anymore, green…..you can shine now….like you always have.” He whispered, lifting his hand to push my head to the side so my neck was properly exposed. Just then, he took a long inhale, his eyes still holding mine as I trembled in his grip. His tongue darted out, licking hot at my neck before it transformed into a full feast.
My lower belly quivered, each stroke of his neck bringing mt to the thought of what he could do between my legs. “W-w-what……hmm….are you doing?” I moaned, grabbing his other hand at my waist. Not to push him away, but to pull him even closer.
This… it is supposed to be fake…why is he… no one's in here….we don’t have to pretend.
“You’re mine, green…..all mine.” He gripped my chin. “Understood?”
At that point, I swear, nothing felt fake. “Yes.”
“Yes, what? Come on, be a good girl for me.” He pushed, his index fingers caressing lightly at my chin.
“Yes, Kai.”
“Good.” Just then, he pushed my lips to his, kissing me like one would drink water after a long day in the desert. I kissed him back with equal fervor, barely keeping up with the intensity as he devoured my very essence.
I felt every kiss in the depths of my skin, in my beating heart, in my mind….between my legs. Just then, he pulled away, his eyes darker for a moment before they returned to normal.
“What was….that about?” I gasped, breathing heavy.
“Oh, good..” he looked behind me. “We’re alone now.” He said, making me look back. The gap in the curtain was slightly open, wide enough for anyone to peek through.
“What?” I asked, confused…and disappointed.
“Someone was watching us, green….my father has a lot of spies. She must have been one of them.” The feeling of disappointment sank in deeper at once. I don’t know why. I know it’s fake…so why did I want him to kiss me for real?
“Oh…of course.” I chuckled, trying to play it off.
“Yeah….we should get going. We have a party to crash, after all.” He smiled, grabbing my hand. I looked at myself in the mirror one last time with a small smile before letting him lead me away.
Now, we’re outside the party. Everyone has gathered around the car. I clearly saw a red-faced Morgan, anger clear on her features as if she knew we were the ones in here.
“Ready,” Kai asked with a devious smile. He loved the chaos, the game, and the aftermath. I took five deep breaths and nodded. Once he got that, he hopped out of the car, smiling at the waiting horsemen with alcohol already in hand before he came over to open the door for me.
“You’ve got this, Aurora,” I whispered to myself, stepping out once he got the door. I put a smile on my face, one I knew Morgan would hate.
It’s show time.
