Chapter 49 Magic Doctor

Several doctors were already gathered outside the operating room, pounding on the door forcefully.

Quint intentionally made them do so. The noise might affect the surgery inside.

Bryan walked quickly to the door and said to the doctors, "Get lost! If you delay the surgery inside, your medical careers will be over."

His imposing presence frightened the doctors, who quickly withdrew their hands and looked helplessly at Quint not far away.

"Bryan, I am also concerned about Grandma's well-being. The doctors I've brought in are experienced neurologists and are definitely better than the fraud inside," Quint said.

"I know that person inside is your ex-wife, and you will definitely take her side, but Grandma's life is the most important," he continued.

Quint seemed to be considering Daisy, but everyone knew that Dr. Rashid didn't dare to perform the surgery and these doctors probably didn't have a solution either.

Bryan coldly stared at Quint, who felt somewhat guilty.

Some people are naturally exuding an aura of power.

"Quint, it seems like you've been living too comfortably lately, daring to repeatedly test my patience," he said in a deep voice that made Quint tremble in fear.

Bryan's fingers were clasped around the second button on his suit, and he gave Quint a cold stare.

"Make him shut up," Bryan said icily.

Suddenly, a few men in black appeared and forcefully stuffed a piece of cloth into Quint's mouth, and they also locked up the doctors he had called in the adjacent room.

Bella saw her cousin's pitiful state and dared not speak. She could only silently curse Elena in her heart.

Meanwhile, the others were all waiting for the final outcome, each with their own plans in mind.

If Daisy really died, they would be able to divide the Richter family's assets among themselves.

Outside was chaotic, but inside the operating room was calm, with only the ticking sound of the instruments.

The nurse had wiped Elena's sweat a few times, and Elena had been holding the knife up in the air for several minutes.

From initially underestimating Elena, Rashid gradually became astonished. Elena's movements appeared simple, but Rashid knew that each step required great control. Even a slight deviation could touch that major blood vessel.

"The surgery is a success!" Elena suddenly spoke, breaking the tranquility in the operating room.

Rashid could hardly believe it, but the electronic screen indeed showed that the tumor had been removed without touching the nearby blood vessels.

It was truly a medical miracle!

"Continue to transfuse blood to the patient," Elena weakly informed the doctors nearby.

She glanced at the time and realized that an hour had already passed. She refreshed her records again.

Elena felt immense pressure performing this surgery. Because the person lying on the operating table was someone close to her, she was extra cautious, and therefore took a bit longer.

Elena took a few deep breaths and felt a slight regain of strength before pushing the door open.

"How is Daisy?" she asked.

"Don't ask, just look at her appearance and you'll know it wasn't successful."

"She's just a fraud, so despicable!"

"So young, yet so deceitful."

"Bryan, we must not let her get away with it."

"Yes, take her to see a lawyer."

Elena looked at the people who had just spoken.

She remembered them.

Bryan came over and supported her arm.

"Take a break first," Bryan took a deep breath and suppressed all of his emotions.

Elena didn't want to be so close to him, but her body was exhausted and she didn't have the strength to argue with him anymore. So she let him support her.

"Bryan, this woman is just pretending to be pitiful. She wants to deceive us for our money, don't fall for it," he said.

"Yes, she's a scammer. Call the police and have her arrested," they all agreed.

This group of people was like demons from hell, practically wanting to handcuff Elena right away.

Bryan was about to silence this group of people when suddenly, Rashid came running out excitedly.

"Magic doctor, can I be your student?" he asked.

Everyone was confused, wondering what Rashid meant by that.

"Magic doctor, as long as you agree to let me be your student, I'll do anything," Rashid earnestly requested.

Everyone was stunned. What was going on? Dr. Rashid was a famous neurosurgeon, how could he want to be a little girl's student?

Elena weakly leaned against the wall behind her and softly said, "I’m not a teacher."

"Dr. Rashid, what are you doing? Why do you want to be this scammer's student?" they questioned.

"Yeah! This woman is a scammer!"

Rashid heard them say this and it was as if he heard a joke.

"Ms. Winston is not a scammer! Daisy's surgery was successful thanks to Ms. Winston. She is the magic doctor," Rashid excitedly stated.

This surprised everyone even more. Could it be true that the surgery was a success?

And that it was Elena who performed the surgery!

Bryan was also taken aback. He hadn't expected the surgery to actually be successful.

Elena once again shocked him.

"Magic doctor, what do I have to do for you to teach me?" Rashid now only wanted to be Elena's student.

Though he was proud, when he encountered someone more skilled than him, he would humbly learn.

Elena was annoyed with their noise and said, "You guys are so loud!"

She had originally planned to rest and leave, but Rashid refused to let her go.

"Magic doctor, please teach me! I will study hard!" Rashid pleaded.

Elena helplessly said, "I really don't teach students. And your surgical skills are too poor, I'm afraid I won't be able to teach you."

Everyone was even more surprised. This woman actually said that Rashid's surgical skills were poor!

She was probably the first person in the world to dare say such a thing.

But Rashid surprisingly nodded in agreement with her assessment, "Magic doctor, although my surgical skills are not good, I have a strong ability to learn. You can observe me for a while, and if you're not satisfied, I will disappear in front of you immediately."

Rashid looked at Elena with anticipation.

He knew that Elena, despite her youth, was much better at surgery than him. Such talent should be admired.

Rashid actually admired Elena so much!

Everyone was confused.

Just a moment ago, they said Elena was a fraud. Will Elena seek revenge on them?

After a long time, Bryan asked softly, "Elena, are you the magic doctor they were talking about?"

This was only Bryan's guess.
