82. Impostor

Meanwhile... Victor is still sitting there in the garden.

"What are you talking about there? You look so crazy in there." Orphen commented.

Victor looked at Orphen. Then John came out. Go straight to where he is and pick a pink rose. It waved and walked away.

"Look at that, its already noon and he chosen to woo. Won't you scold him because he picked one of the flowers of your plants? You make it hard to take care of them."

Victor turned his attention back to Orphen.

"Is Sir John has a lover?"

"Who else do you think he would give the rose he took in your garden? Who else is he going to?"

"Ma'm Alice."

"Well, you know. You, who do you want to go to see?"

Victor stared at Orphen for a long time.

"Maybe she's not there." he replied.

"Where do you regret more, you go there in the garden but she is not there or you do not dare? Remember, repentance is not at first, always at last."

Orphen tapped Victor on the shoulder and then stood up.

"I'll leave you. I still have a big ceramic to do. I need to finish the order."

Orphen finally left Victor but he saw in the corner of his eye that it was already standing and quickly headed towards the forest. It seems to have decided well, finally.

Meanwhile... Victor had not answered her question before.

"Are you mad at me?" she asked.

"No. Why did you even think of that thing?"

"Because of my older brother."

"I do not care about him."

She was a little shocked by what he said. She pulled her hand away to it. She really doubted if Victor was in front of her. She needs to be sure.

"Is there a problem?" The man asked.

"N-Nothing. I suddenly remembered those cupcakes you gave me the other day. I shared it with my Mom. She asks me where your friend's bakery is. She also liked the cupcakes you gave, she said it was delicious. What is the name of that friend of yours again? The one who have red hair?"

Suddenly the eyebrows of the man in front of her met. Its eyes narrowed and she backed away.

"Why do you have so many questions?! When I say you will come with me, just come along! Don't be so talkative!”

Canary backed away and was afraid to stare at the man's face. She was right in her suspicion, it was not Victor but just pretending.

"W-Who are you? You are not my friend..." she said in fear.

She rubbed her lips as the look on his face gradually changed. Its hair shortened and its eyes turned black. The skin became pale.

"I'm the man you've been waiting for."

She swallowed and backed away.

"Y-You are the demon..."

"The demon who will take you, Yes. I am. You are the payment I asked for from your clan."

"No..."

"Don't be stubborn anymore because no one can help you. Do you want to be hurt just to-"

The man stopped speaking when his right cheek was suddenly injured. And a brilliant thing was buried at its foot. They looked there and they saw a small knife.

"You are a hypocritical liar. Such things are the work of a coward and a worthless creature. It is embarrassing."

They looked at the speaker and saw Victor standing on a broad branch of a tree, not far away. He was wearing a black t-shirt and denim pants. He was playing with a small operating knife in his right hand. From its position it quickly disappeared and in a flash it was beside Canary. The girl blinked in shock. The speed of its movement, that a normal person cannot do.

"Hide there behind the tree and I'll take care of this ugly one." Victor said.

The demon looked at the young man and smiled sparingly.

"Yes, be careful."

Canary ran to the back of the tree to hide. She just couldn't help but look because she was curious to see what would happen. Victor, on the other hand, faced the opponent who even pretended to be him. He was thrilled with this one. Thrilled with anger.

"What do you need from her?" Victor asked emphatically.

A silly laugh escaped the man.

"I am the demon that will take her."

"Don't be a liar, poor demon. You are not the demon who reconciled with her Grandfather."

"Oh, really? How did you find out?"

Victor glanced slightly at Canary who was behind the tree. It was watching them, he faced the opponent again and looked sharply at it.

"Because I know that demon... So I know, you are an impostor."

The man's eyes widened.

"You're right, I'm not that demon. Eh what now? I liked that woman once when I saw her here in the woods. I learned everything about her, including the secret of their clan. I would have intended to pretend that I was the demon who would take her because I wanted her to be mine. It would be nice if she would add to the women I collected."

Canary was stunned by what she heard. Victor was even more annoyed with the man in front of him. Get it ready for him because he will not give mercy.

"Who are you?" he asked.

"I do not have a name and I do not know who my creator is. That's it, I don't care anymore. It would be no problem if you give me that woman."

A mischievous smile appeared on Victor's lips. Get this liar ready for him.

"I want trouble." his straightforward language.

Disgusted, the man looked at Victor.

"Ah, is that so?!"

It stretches out the right hand and it gradually change shape. It turned into a black leech with large teeth. Canary swallowed and was afraid to stare at the man who had changed shape.

"Nice timing, I'm hungry. I'm sure I'll be satisfied with your blood."

Suddenly the man's hand dropped and plunged towards Victor. But in an instant it was broken. Canary froze and closed her eyes tightly. Abundant blood spilled all around.

"Aaaaargh!" the man shouted while rubbing his right hand.

Victor calmly looked at the man he cut off his hand.

"Hmm... Based on the smell of your blood, Prince Sitri is your creator-the demon of lust. No wonder."

The man looked at Victor and then laughed softly. It confronted Victor.

"Like I said, I don't care about my creator. Get ready!"

The man's amputated arm grew again but this time the tentacles in his hand had increased leeches.

"I'll just see if you can still survive here!"

Even his left hand turned into leech tentacles and quickly rushed to Victor. The latter did nothing but cut it all off with the small operating knife he was holding.

"You'll just get tired of what you're doing!"

A frugal smile flashed on Victor's lips.

"You're wrong. I won't get tired because incision is my cup of tea!"

In an instant the man's hands were broken into small pieces. But a tentacle he did not break off suddenly bit and curled into his right arm. This was followed by biting and twisting other limbs on his left leg and right thigh. Even his left hand is wrapped up. It quickly grew the tentacles he had cut. The man smiled at him.

"You're caught now."

Victor's blood flowed to the part of his body that was bitten by the leech tentacles and he could feel them sucking in his blood. Canary was very worried while looking at Victor. She wanted to help him but could not think of anything to help. The man stared at Victor's gentle face. An idea suddenly played in his mind. He lifted the man and brought him closer.

"I'm sure a lot of women will be obsessed with me when I get your face. I will stole that from you. Only now, did I pay attention while facing you. Your face is handsome. But say goodbye to it because that will be mine..."

A faint laugh escaped Victor. His gaze deepened and he shook slightly.

"Can you repeat what you said?" he asked incredulously.

"I'll take your face. That will be mine."

Victor laughed softly again.

"Wrong-mistake!" he said.

It has already triggered him into something that makes him angry. His face! If he gets too angry when his face is just a little dirty, can that be stolen from him?! The man's head and neck became a large leech. It went down and faced Victor. Its large mouth, surrounded by tiny sharp teeth, opens. It poured a big mouth into his face. But before the big leech finally swallowed his face, it was suddenly cut into many pieces. Next is the man's body. It looks like he grind it. Victor's face was covered in a lot of blood and even his body. He angrily wiped the blood from his face.

"You wicked creature. You really want to stole my face ah?" his disgusted language.

He turned his back on it and then walked closer to Canary who was hiding behind a tree. He sighed steadily. Because he suddenly became conscious of his appearance. Even so, he still approached the girl who was staring at him intently.

"Canary... Are you okay?"

Canary looked at Victor who was a bit bathed in blood. She saw what had happened. She was amazed to see it.

"Are you an exorcist? And did I hear correctly that you know the demon who reconciled with my Grandfather?"

Victor swallowed and hesitated to look at the girl.

"I'm not an exorcist."

"In that case, how did you do those things? You're so good! And how fast you act."

Victor looked at Canary seriously. Here it is... He needs to let her know who he really is and come what may!

"All I can say is, your Grandfather is a good exorcist. Of all the people I fought with, he was the only one who did not beg. He even asked me to kill him but I did not. I do not want to lose a good opponent. He could not accept that so he reconciled you to me. And I said Yes, I just give what he wants because I don't want to be nagged anymore."

Canary was stunned and touch her lips. She gets what Victor says. She slowly backed away from the young man. Now it confesses to her that this is the demon who reconciled with her Grandfather.

"You are the demon..." she could not continue as she should have said because she was very surprised by its revelation.

"Yes. I forgot about my conversation with your Grandfather. But here, destiny is joking... We met. Don't worry because I'm not serious about that conversation. Your Grandfather did not do any shame. He was brave and he did not swallow his pride. Wrong stories spread. Forgive me for what happened."

Gradually tears rolled down the girl's eyes until it finally flowed down her cheeks. Victor wanted to wipe those tears but he could not move when he saw her eyes staring at him with judgment. Canary turned her back on him and slowly walked away. The young man remained in his position. He just watched Canary walk away.

"She must be hating me now." his bitter language.

He let out a deep sigh before he walked home. He has no hope that Canary will be friends with him anymore. but at least, he has already informed here who he really is.

Meanwhile... Grimm went to his Mother's grave again. As usual, he brought it a bunch of red roses again.

"I'm sorry if I just visited now. I'm a bit busy with many things. Please don't be upset with me..." he said.

Grimm was stunned when he saw an approaching shadow. Moments later, he saw his Big Brother Gaunt carrying a bundle of white-roses. He approached where he was and laid his bundle of flowers on the grave. Gaunt looked deep at Grimm.

"Have you decided yet? Do you want to release your demon form?" Gaunt asked to him.

Grimm looked at his older brother seriously.

"Yes." his short answer.

Gaunt let out a deep sigh.

"I'm just waiting for your decision." suddenly its language.

Grimm frowned. He looked at his older brother in surprise.

"What do you mean?"

"I will leave Belphegor. I am on your side. I will assist you in issuing your demon form. Together, we will fight our father. Are you ready?"

Grimm gasped and his lips parted. He could not believe what he heard.
