Mia’s pov
Two and a half months.
Two and a half months had gone by since Kade and I had begun dating. Things hadn’t progressed much except, well for this…..
‘Ahh.” I grumble then coughed as I wiped my mouth with the back of my hand.
I sighed, my other hand gripping the side of the toilet bowl as I wrenched inside it again. My throat felt like acid and the bitter taste of vomit only led me to throw up another wave of vomit. 5
I coughed, wincing as I clenched my eyes tightly.
“Mia hurry up in there I need to piss!” Austin yelled behind the door, banging it a little with his fists.
“In a second Austin!” I tried to yell back but my voice cracked and I sounded like an old lady who had smoked too many cigarettes her entire life and now lived with ten cats who piss on her bed.
I flushed the toilet to rid the stench and sight of vomit and slowly rise to my feet. I staggered to the sink, opened the faucet, and washed my mouth.
When I felt as though the taste hadn’t really moved out of my mouth I searched for the mouthwash and gurgle it in my mouth for longer than necessary.
“Come on Mia. I’m about to piss myself!” Austin whined in impatience. He sounded as though he plastered his mouth to the door.
I spat out the mouthwash.
“Just,” I clenched my eyes shut and then opened them to stare at my reflection in the mirror.
I looked like shit.
There was no better way to describe how I look right now.
My hair was a mess, which probably had to do with Kade running his fingers through it multiple times last night.
But my face, looked like a vampire had come to suck out all the blood from my body. I lift up my hand to my face and slapped my cheeks to put some color. (1)
“Mia!” Austin whined.
I jolt and winced. “Okay, I’m done. Wait a sec.” I grumble, washing my mouth again until I was sure the smell and tang of vomit were no longer detected.
I walked to the door and cracked it open a little as I try to swallow down another wave of vomit.
I woke up feeling this way. I had been tossing and turning in Kade’s bed and no matter how warm and protective his arm had been around me, I still felt nauseated.

I tried to hold it in as long as I could but as soon as the clock hit five thirty in the morning, I discreetly left Kade’s side.
I should really get a trophy for how quiet I had left his side. He hadn’t even noticed, although he shifted a little bit. But I knew he was worn out from the activities we had done last night.
He would always be extremely tired afterward and usually, I do too. But not today. Today I had a mission to puke out my guts. And that I did.
I didn’t even know how long I had been in there. But I was thankful no one had seemed to have heard me.
“Jesus, did you take a whole dump in there to take this long?” Austin huffs, forcing the door to open wider, and brushes past me.
“You only waited five minutes toad. “I pointed out with an eye roll.
“More like an hour!” He sneered and closed the door with an obnoxious bang.
I glared at at door but when I turned around, I’m startled to see a shirtless Kade. My mouth watered but I was also a bit self conscious about my appearance.
“You left before kissing me goodbye. Did you leave earlier today?” Kade hummed, stepping a little closer until his scent nearly intoxicated me.
I lift my head, my gaze connected with warm blue. His hair was really messy and I knew that had to do with me tugging it all night while he ate me out.
I swallowed feeling the familiar butterflies in my belly but that also led my stomach to twist.
I swallowed again hoping to leave the bile down.
“How do you know I didn’t kiss you before heading out?” I whispered, looking behind him.
He raised a brow and whispered. “Because usually, the lingering of a tingle stays after you kiss me.” He smiled cheekily and I felt the flustering of a blush dance on my cheeks.
“Imagine my disappointment when I felt nothing when I woke up.” He lifted both brows teasingly.
Despite feeling the uncomfortable twist in my stomach, I smiled. “I guess I’ll just have to make it up to you later.

Kade’s face beamed into a pleased grin, his eyes dancing. “Can’t wait to see how you’d make it up to me.”
I smiled but this time it felt like a grimace and I was sure it looked like a grimace because the smile on Kade’s face faltered.
It wasn’t because I wasn’t looking forward to making it up to him, because trust me, I did. The reason why I grimaced was that bile tormented me in my throat and threatened to come out.
“Is something wrong baby?” He whispered, his voice filled with concern.
I stared at him for a couple of seconds.

During these months Kade and 1 had been together, it was bliss. And even though we still kept our relationship a secret, we managed to make it work.
I didn’t want to spoil it because I was vomiting today. I don’t think it should be a concern honestly. We had been safe, except for that day in the bathroom. But I did take a morning after pill as soon as we left the store when we bought it.
I couldn’t be pregnant. I just couldn’t.
So I managed a smile and nodded. “I’m okay Kade. Just a little tired.” I lied. Well sort of. I was still a little tired.
He looks at me and I could see the gears in his head turning as he tries to figure out if I was lying or not. Thankfully before he could piece it together, Austin opens the door.
“It’s all yours Kade. I’d be careful if I were you, Mia took a load of shit, bombed the entire toilet.” Austin jokes, his tongue sticking out when he noticed I was glaring at him.
“You little shit. You’re lying. “I snapped moving away from Kade discreetly after realizing we were a bit too close. I didn’t want mom or dad to see us like this. It was already so hard to keep our relationship a secret from
them.
Kade laughs. “That isn’t all the load Mia took today, now is it Mia?” Kade joked.
My face redden knowing what he was insinuating. Austin looked between us confused but doesn’t comment.
I glared at the two boys. “I hate you two.” I huffed and turned around to walk away all the while both Kade and Austin laughed at my expense.
“No, you don’t red!” Kade shout and spewed out another laughing fit that Austin joined in too.
I flipped them off but a smile curved on my face. Despite how nauseated I felt, Kade could always manage to put a smile on my face.
