CHAPTER 155 IS LOVE TRULY BLIND?

Selena was surprised when she heard that voice. That was very quick. She and Tyler turned around to find Titus standing a few feet away. “Titus,” Selena replied. She inhaled deeply.

“Your heart is racing fast as if you shouldn’t have said anything, but you did.” He came up to them. “What did you say to Tyler?”

Selena met Tyler’s gaze and swallowed before shifting her focus to Titus. “I... I... thought about what you said to me, and I believe we still have a one percent chance of getting back together.”

“What exactly are you saying?”

Selena gulped and clutched her fist tightly. She didn’t want to say it now, but she felt she had no choice. He will realize this sooner or later. “I’m saying you hurt me, Titus, but I still love you.” Her gaze remained fixed on him for an extended period of time. “I have always loved you.”

Titus fixed his gaze on Selena for a few moments. He was still reeling from the shock. Her words were direct, but he had always known Selena to be like this. Extremely blunt. Her words seemed genuine, and he was relieved that he hadn’t ruined it for them both. He felt relieved that she had returned to him. Titus just couldn’t stop smiling.

He wanted to scream, jump, and shout at the top of his lungs, telling her how much he loved her, telling the world how much he loved Selena O’Brien, but instead he remained calm and smiled. He reached for her hands and tapped them gently. “Really?” She looked so stunning with her red hair. Devil is more attracted to her than ever, just as he was the first time he saw her.

Selena responded with a nod. “Yes. Really.” If Tyler hadn’t been present, she would have run into his arms and kissed him. Selena fixed her eyes on Tyler. “I feel like I should stay a little longer. Titus wouldn’t mind.” Her eyes were drawn back to Titus’s. “Right?”

“Right,” Titus answered quickly and without hesitation.

Tyler made a quick glance at him. Titus made an effort to avoid Tyler’s stare. Tyler shook his head. Love had changed this ruthless Alpha Titus into a caring one.

He mind-linked Titus. “Seriously? See how clearly you are smiling.”

“So what’s wrong with that? You expect me to frown after the most beautiful girl confessed her love to me?”

“At the very least, show pride. She rejected you.”

“She had her reasons, and it was entirely my fault.”

“She kissed another boy.”

“Don’t remind me of that. It’s something I wish I had not seen. It used to be his turn, but now it is mine.”

“She is Selena O’Brien. The same girl who will not commit to a single man. The same girl who falls in love with a stranger...”

“Stop!” Titus frowned when his eyes met Tyler’s. He then said it aloud. “Stop! Would you?”

Selena felt the tension between them. It was unavoidable. “Maybe I should go.”

“No. Stay.” Titus reached for her hand. “I want you here.” He smiled and looked at Tyler. “As for Tyler, he can come back here later.”

Tyler scoffed. “I just can’t believe you right now.”

“Of course, you should. I would love to spend the entire day with Selena, and you are not needed.” Titus walked Selena to the door while holding her hand.

Before entering, Selena mind-linked Tyler. “I’m sincerely sorry. It was the only thought that came to mind.”

“I’m glad he can smile again. Don’t worry about the hunters or the secrets. I will handle everything.”

Then she would have to believe whatever he said. Titus will not be pleased if those secrets are revealed.

Once inside, Titus turned to face Selena. “Would you like some tea?”

Selena chuckled as she took her seat. “I’m not a visitor, Mr. Alpha.” Instead, she drew him close and raised her head to look at him. She took a deep breath. Staring, staring, staring.

“Why are you staring at me like that?” Titus laughed.

“Because you are stunning, Mr Alpha. You’re really stunning.”

Titus knelt down to her height. “Then how about we have a baby if you find me so attractive?”

Selena’s eyes widened. “I am only 20 years old.” She was in shock. But she would definitely like to have his children. And who wouldn’t?

Titus gave a loud laugh. “It’s just a joke. Definitely not right now. You looked shocked right now.”

“I’m shocked.” She relaxed her face and smoothed it out. “I think I got a better idea.”

“I’m all ears.”

“How about I move in here with you?”

“What?”

“I’ve been thinking. I know it will be difficult to reconcile my two lives, but I am confident I can do so.”

“You will feel exhausted. I don’t want you to be exhausted.”

My mom is currently out of the country. She won’t be around for many weeks. I want to make the best of this opportunity. I would like to be your Luna. You finally get to give a proper introduction to the entire pack.”

Titus kept his attention on her. He would be thrilled if she stayed and continued her duties as Luna, but he wouldn’t want to end her human life either. “You are my Luna. You have always been and will continue to be my Luna, but what about school? You enjoy going to school.”

Selena cupped his face and nodded. “I did. I do, but I’m no longer interested in school. Titus Terry, I just want to be with you right now.”

“Okay. Maybe we can discuss it later, but for now, he won’t ruin these moments. “Then everything is settled.”

“What is?”

“I would like to introduce you to the rest of the pack as my Luna.”

Selena couldn’t help but smile. “Okay. And when will that be?”

“What about tonight?” He stood up and lifted her into his arms. “But first, I want to make love to you.”

“That would be great.”

As he carried her into his room, he laughed. Titus placed her on his bed and looked at her with eyes she had never seen him have before. It was peaceful and filled with love. Perhaps he was telling the truth when he said he did everything because he loved her. “You look gorgeous, Selena.” He leaned in and softly kissed her on the lips.

Selena smiled between kisses and wrapped her arms around his neck. Returning the kiss, her stomach churned with butterflies, and she didn’t want to let go of him. Let go of his mouth. Let go of his kiss.

He drank from her mouth as if it were a goblet of wine, stimulating all of her senses at once. Selena swears she could feel her bones melt. She could kiss him constantly and would have if he hadn’t pulled away. She was prepared to become his tonight and forever. With him, she felt secure.

Selena wanted to get out of bed, believing he was finished. “Stay put.” He replied calmly and kissed her again. Kissing her until she felt dizzy with desire. “I want you here.” He completed. He explained why he wanted her in his bed, naked beneath the faded quilt, and Selena closed her eyes for a moment at the delicious image.

“You are very good with words, Titus Terry.” Selena spoke as Titus got out of bed. She wanted him.

He grinned. “I will be right back.” He turned off the lights and lit the candles. Selena was full of questions as she observed him. He had all of this in his home? But, since when? She rarely thought of him as a romantic person. Titus noticed her looking at him and turned to face her. “You are doing that eye thing again.”

“Which eyes?”

“The one in which you look shocked.”

“I’m shocked. How...when...where... I have so many questions.”

“It doesn’t matter. All that matters is that you are here with me.” Tyler had encouraged him to buy those candles during the moon festival. He wanted to get rid of them, but he never expected it to be useful now.

Selena nodded her head. She wanted him in that bed as soon as possible. She was losing patience. She maintained close eye contact with him. She was confident he felt her gaze as it moved across his face, scrutinizing his jaw, cheekbones, brow bone, and eyes. She was not evasive or flirtatious. She’s under no obligation to be. The majority of the work was done by the pure female power in her solemn gaze. Instead of Estry, she was the one.

Titus was well-versed in sex and its ability to turn your brain inside out. And it wasn’t until it was over that you realized what was going on. She had done it before with him, and every time she remembered that night, she wanted to do it again. She had tried to ignore the fact that he was the only one capable of making her heart beat like that all along. Unlike Titus, Tyler was sweet to her. Maybe her feelings for Tyler originated from his kind gestures to her.
