Chapter 21

**Royal**

Zander walked back into the gym acting like he was pissed about something. He walked straight to the punching bag and started to punch it hard without anyone even spotting him. I quickly walked over to him to see what the hell was going on. “What happened? You said you were going to get an energy drink.”

“I did. Now, I am fucking pissed. You are all caught up.”

Saint and Cyrus walked over there looking confused as well as to why Zander was acting so strange.

“What the hell have you so pissed?” I asked pulling him away from the punching bag before he hits someone or knocks it off the chain. Either way a pretty good possibility.

“What do you think? First, it was Winter with fucking Nev. Now, it’s the fact some idiot thinks they can mess with us. I swear to God if I find out who is messing with us.”

“What do you mean Winter was with Nev? And who messed with us? What happened Zander?”

“Someone messed with our lockers. They cut all of our locks.” He said fighting to get out of my arms.

“Who the fuck is stupid enough to do that?” I asked. Everyone knew better than to mess with us. They knew this could get them in a lot of trouble from all four of them.

“I don’t know, but when I find out-”

“It was Winter.” Saint chimed in. “I caught her when I went for my smoke break. She learned her lesson.” Saint shrugged.

We all looked over at Saint. I was confused as hell as to what he meant. “She learned her lesson? What does that mean?”

He shrugs. “It means what it always meant. I taught her a lesson she won’t forget. I don’t know why she got so brave. She was trying to take our clothes.”

Zander shook his head. “No, it’s exactly like her to think out a stupid plan and not think about getting caught. What did you do to punish her?”

“Just spanked her. Her pale white ass was bright red,” he said licking his lips. I couldn’t believe it. He was supposed to be on my side of leaving her the fuck alone. He had a girlfriend. How was he going to explain to her that he spanked another girl’s ass? I knew he wasn’t going to tell her. He probably wasn’t even going to tell us, but there was a lot of evidence Winter had left. I don’t think he thought of the fact that our locks had been cut and we would wonder who did that.

“So when are you telling Scar?” I asked raising my eyebrow.

Saint frowned. He realized what he had done. He had gone against his word when messing with Winter. He should have brought her to Zander or taken her to someone in the school. He shouldn’t have punished her himself. It was too easy to fall into her little trap. She could have us all wrapped around her finger. I couldn’t have that. I had to stay faithful to Hailey this time. I couldn’t go running off with another girl. Since she had come back from Europe, we had become stronger than ever. I couldn’t risk losing it all. My family would never forgive me.

He shook his head. “It’s none of her business. I was taking care of things.”

“You shouldn’t have done it alone,” I hissed at him. “You should have told the coach and had him deal with it.”

Zander glared at me. “No, he shouldn’t have. I don’t like that he dealt with it on his own, but he shouldn’t have told the coach.” He crossed his arms.

He had lost it if he was jealous of a man in his fifties going near Winter. “He wouldn’t have punished her in the way we would have. He would have taken this to the people who need to hear this and maybe got her suspended.” Or expelled. I shouldn’t wish that on anyone, but I didn’t want her here. It was too much of a risk having her here. I couldn’t stand her being close again. It was like being suffocated.

“Still, we don’t want anything to happen to her that would risk her being here.” Zander sighed.

“We were perfectly fine without her here. Better if you ask me,” I said as I crossed my arms.

“No, you are better, because you can make your stupid relationship work. If you don’t need her than stay away from her,” he snapped at me. He moved to get close to my face. This is exactly what I was worried about. She was going to keep driving wedges between us.

“I will, Zander. That has been my plan since the start. I never wanted anything to do with her.”

“Really?” He asked raising an eyebrow. “Is that why you cut her dress open and tried to get her in the middle of the street?

“Shut up, that was a moment of weakness.” I should have known he would have brought up my weak moment.

“That’s why you want her gone. Because, you can’t keep yourself off of her. You know you will break your relationship up and you can’t have that. Why do you look so down on Winter?”

I shook my head. “I don’t look down on her.”

“Yes, you do. You always have treated her the worst out of all of us. You never want to admit your feelings for her!”

“Because it is pointless to have feelings for her! I am not going to marry her. What did you think I would join you guys and marry her? She was a fling that was all. I need to think about my future and not Winter.”

Zander shook his head at me as he moved to walk away. He was done with argument. I couldn’t tell if it was because I was right or what? I was right. She wasn’t our future. She could be, but she wouldn’t be a good thing. We needed to leave this all behind us.
