CHAPTER 28. Hell on lose
"Where is Kitara?, I can't find her ever since i left her with you" Amaya said. Really?, I also went to the kitchen yesterday but they said she didnt show up, meanwhile she left me and headed there as soon as you left. I assumed that she was with you, that maybe you sent her on her errand" Alpha Mykel said feeling tensed.
"Well, i have not sighted her since, it over 24 hours now, what are we suppossed to do?" Amaya said, "dont worry put your mind to rest, i will start up a search party for her and let you know about the outcome as soon as something plausible came up. "okay thanks, in the meantime i will ask the other cook for any possible trace and then we check that out, let me know when you get any clue" Amaya said as she rushed out of Alpha Mykels sight.
Alpha Mykel was greatly worried something in him say that the disappearance of Kitara has something to do with the unidentified man that touched her the following day, since then there as been no sightings of Kitara and that his getting him worked up, he calls for his guard and ask them to inform the cheif guard that all guard should report at the trainning arena, and at once he head their awaiting their arrival.
Alpha Mykel was pacing back and forth in the training arena, his mind racing with different scenarios of what could have happened to Kitara. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something terrible had happened to her. As his guards arrived, he instructed them to gather information from every corner of the palace and report any sighting of Kitara.
He also ordered a thorough search of the palace, including the surrounding areas. He knew that time was of the essence and they needed to act fast. His heart sank at the thought of Kitara being in danger or worse, harmed.
As his guards split up and began their search, Alpha Mykel couldn't help but think of all the things he wished he had done differently. He should have been more vigilant, more careful. He should have anticipated that something like this could happen.
He clenched his fists, feeling helpless and angry at himself. He knew that he couldn't just sit around and wait for news. He needed to take action.
Suddenly, one of his guards rushed towards him, panting heavily. "Alpha Mykel, we found something!" he exclaimed.
As they trekked deeper into the forest, the atmosphere became more eerie, with the trees looming overhead like menacing giants. The crunching of leaves and twigs under their feet was the only sound that could be heard.
Alpha Mykel's heart sank as they came across a clearing, littered with signs of struggle. It was obvious that Kitara had been here and had put up a fight. There were broken branches and scuff marks on the ground, as well as patches of dirt where someone had been dragged.
He signaled for his guards to spread out and search the area, hoping to find some clue or trace of Kitara. As they moved around the clearing, they noticed a faint smell of smoke in the air. Alpha Mykel's instincts kicked in and he followed the scent, leading him to a small abandoned campsite.
The campsite was in disarray, with empty cans and wrappers scattered around. But what caught Alpha Mykel's attention was a piece of torn fabric caught on a twig. He recognized it as part of Kitara's uniform.
The discovery made him more determined to find her. He ordered his guards to continue the search, even as the sun began to set and the shadows grew longer. He knew that they had to find her before nightfall.
As they combed through the forest, they came across a small cave hidden in a rocky outcropping. Alpha Mykel's heart leapt as he heard faint cries coming from inside. He ordered his guards to surround the cave, as he cautiously made his way inside.
It was dark and cramped, but he could see Kitara huddled in a corner, bruised and battered. Her eyes widened as she saw Alpha Mykel, and she rushed into his arms, sobbing uncontrollably.
Alpha Mykel held her tightly, relieved to have found her alive. He signaled for his guards to call for a medical team to tend to Kitara's injuries and bring her back to the palace.
As they made their way back, Alpha Mykel couldn't help but feel a deep sense of anger and betrayal. He vowed to find out who was responsible for Kitara's abduction and bring them to justice.
The incident had left a lasting impact on everyone involved. Kitara was left traumatized by the experience, but she found solace in Alpha Mykel's unwavering support. Amaya was relieved to hear that Kitara was found and safe, but she couldn't help but feel guilty for leaving her alone.
Alpha Mykel's guards were shaken by the incident, but they knew that their loyalty to their leader would always come first. And Alpha Mykel himself was reminded of the weight of his responsibilities, and the importance of protecting those under his care.
As they moved deeper into the forest, Alpha Mykel could hear his heart beating in his chest. He was afraid of what they might find, but he couldn't let fear control him. He had to be strong and keep moving forward. After what felt like hours of searching, they finally stumbled upon a clearing. Alpha Mykel's heart sank as he saw Kitara lying on the ground, unconscious.
He rushed to her side, checking for any signs of injury. He was relieved to see that she was alive but appeared to be in a deep sleep.
He ordered his guards to carry her back to the palace, and they immediately set off on their journey. As they carried Kitara through the forest, Alpha Mykel couldn't help but wonder who could have done this to her. He promised himself that whoever was responsible would pay for their actions.
When they arrived at the palace, Alpha Mykel immediately called for the royal physician to attend to Kitara. He watched anxiously as the physician examined her, hoping that she would be okay.
After what felt like an eternity, the physician finally spoke. "She will be fine," he said. "It appears that she was drugged, but she should make a full recovery with some rest."
Alpha Mykel breathed a sigh of relief, feeling grateful that Kitara was going to be okay. He knew that he had to get to the bottom of what had happened and ensure that it never happened again.
He called for his guards to gather all information related to Kitara's disappearance and instructed them to leave no stone unturned. He was determined to find out who was responsible and bring them to justice.
As he sat in his chambers, pondering the events of the past few days, Alpha Mykel couldn't help but feel grateful for the loyalty and dedication of his guards. He knew that without them, they might not have found Kitara in time. There was a knock on his door again, "my lord its a matter of urgency" a voice said accompanying the knock.
"Come in" Mykel said. My lord, Lady Amaya has also gone msising" the guard said as soon as he entered.
