Chapter 24 "CONSISTENCY TO DEAL WITH THE DEVIL
As she stepped out of her room, the sun shone brightly on her face, and she closed her eyes, basking in the warmth of its rays. She felt a sudden rush of energy flow through her body, and she knew it was time to start the day. With a determined mindset, she walked with a purposeful stride towards the kitchen, her eyes set on her goal—to break a neck on her first day at work.
As she moved towards the kitchen, she decided to have some fun on her first day, even if it was just for a day. She began to dance to the rhythm of the music in her head, moving her thighs in a repeated manner as if she had a song she was dancing to. Her movements were so fluid and graceful that other workers couldn't help but envy her.
They looked on in amazement as she moved, her dress stunning them. Unlike the normal kitchen worker's dress, her outfit was different, and it spoke of royalty. The other workers envied her look and her luck. Many of them had been working in the kitchen for years, hoping to get a promotion to the royal kitchen, but they were still cleaners and normal staff.
As she got closer to the kitchen, she noticed the workers whispering and staring at her, but she didn't let it bother her. She had a mission to accomplish, and she was determined to succeed. She walked with confidence, knowing that she had what it took to make it in the royal kitchen.
As she entered the kitchen, she took a deep breath and looked around. The kitchen was bustling with activity, and the smell of different spices and ingredients filled the air. She took it all in, feeling energized by the atmosphere. She looked at the other workers, and she knew that they were watching her every move.
She smiled to herself, knowing that she had already made an impression on them. She walked up to one of the chefs and introduced herself, asking if there was anything she could help with. The chef looked at her skeptically, but then he gave her a task to do. She completed it with ease, and the chef looked impressed.
From that moment on, she was given more tasks to do, and she worked tirelessly to complete them. She moved from one station to another, chopping vegetables, stirring pots, and preparing dishes. Her movements were precise and graceful, and the other workers watched in awe. As the day wore on, she felt a sense of accomplishment, knowing that she had achieved her goal. She had broken a neck on her first day, and she had done it with grace and poise. She knew that she had a lot more to learn, but she was determined to succeed.
Meanwhile, Alpha Mykel was in his room eager and dying to see Kitara, but he was unsure if it was because of her ravishing and mesmerizing dish or because of the way he speaks to him and her careless character around him. "It must not be because of her behavior; I get that from Anaya most of the time, and yet I am not this eager to see her," he thought to himself as he paced to and fro in his room. He decided to visit the kitchen and get a glimpse of how she is catching on with the activities.
He put on his robe and walked out of his room, leaving for the kitchen without his personal guards, whom he dismissed as he did not want to raise any other controversies relating to her. He reached the kitchen, looked around, and saw her in the distance. He stood there, mesmerized by her beauty and her hard work. Alpha Mykel couldn't take his eyes off of her; the way she moved around the kitchen with such grace and determination was truly mesmerizing. He couldn't help but feel a sense of admiration for her, despite the fact that they had only just met.
As he watched her, he noticed how the other kitchen workers seemed to gravitate toward her. They looked up to her with respect and admiration, and it was clear that she had already made an impression on them.
Alpha Mykel couldn't help but feel a sense of pride as he watched her. He knew that she was a valuable asset to his team, and he was eager to see what else she was capable of.
As he continued to observe her, he noticed that she was focused solely on her work. She didn't seem to notice him standing there, watching her. He decided to make his presence known and cleared his throat to get her attention.
Kitara turned around to face him, and the look on her face was priceless. She seemed surprised and a little taken aback, but also pleased to see him.
"Alpha Mykel," she said, bowing her head respectfully. "Is there something I can do for you?"
Alpha Mykel shook his head. "No, no, I just wanted to come and see how you were doing," he said. "I must say, I'm impressed with what I see."
Kitara blushed at his compliment. "Thank you, sir," she said. "I'm just doing my job."
Alpha Mykel smiled. "Well, you're doing it very well," he said. "Keep up the good work."
With that, he turned to leave the kitchen, but not before stealing one last glance at Kitara. He knew that he was going to be thinking about her for the rest of the day.
As he walked back to his room, he couldn't help but wonder what it was about her that had captured his attention so completely. Was it her beauty? Her hardworking nature? Or was it something else entirely? Whatever it was, he knew that he was eager to find out more about her.
Kitara decided to get closer to the king as it seems he already has his eye on her. She made a delicacy with a sumptuous aroma and made her way to his quarters with the hope of impressing him further.
