CHAPTER 163: TREE HOUSE.

CHAPTER 163: TREE HOUSE.

~GREY’S POV~

Olivia was the guest. I couldn’t wrap my head around it. How dare she invite Olivia without telling us? Of course my mother wouldn’t tell me because I would have refused. Where was my dad? He was the only one who could talk some sense to my
mother.

“Don’t look so annoyed,” my mother chided. She smiled at the lady sitting on her right. “Olivia is part of the family and it’s not unusual to have her here.”

“She’s married,” I replied through gritted teeth. “She has her own family now.”

Mira gave my knee a small squeeze. I drew a breath and squeezed her hand back. They could not get to me. Olivia was silent as the maids trooped out to dish the food.

The aroma permeated the air but I had already lost my appetite. I caught Olivia smiling at me on few occasions and I glared at her.

Didn’t she have a home and husband to look after now?

Mira’s hand moved up and down my knee. Iwasn’t thinking when my hand slipped to the base of her neck and I claimed her lips. My wife was shocked for a second but responded immediately, kissing me back with relish.

My mother’s fist slammed the table but I didn’t cast her a glance. “No kissing at the table.”

To annoy her, I planted a chaste kiss on Mira’s lips. Her cheeks were rosy with embarrassment and I kissed both cheeks. My mother wasn’t the only one who could play this role of troublemaker.

“Son. Grey Anderson.”

“Yes, mum?” I dragged out the word.

We both stared at each other for a long minute, then my mother sighed. She had no right to caution me after what she had just done. A maid placed a steaming bowl of rice and chicken sauce in front of me and Mira. They knew about my allergies.

“We should eat.”

“We should,” Angel agreed.

I dug into my meal and forgot about my family the moment the sauce touched my lips. It was delicious and Mira seemed to think so. She moaned with her mouth full and my cock jerked at the sound.

I brought her left hand over my erection and her eyes widened for a brief second. Show retracted her hand but for the rest of her meal, she didn’t moan.

Lunch was finished but my mother asked us to wait for dessert. I didn’t mind. I loved the food and if it was the same person who prepared this, I wanted more.

“How did you two meet?” my mother asked. Her smile felt fake to me but I decided to indulge her.

“At a train station,” he replied. “I was mugged and she helped.” Remembering this made me smile at my wife, I took her hand and placed a kiss on her knuckles. “I wouldn’t have gotten home without her.”

“You should be more careful, son.”

“That was sweet of you, Mira,” Angel said for the first time since lunch ended. “We need more people like you in the world. Women who build others, not try to tear them down.”

A hush fell over the table. Angel didn’t look up from her plate but I knew she was struggling not to laugh. If anyone could take a clean jab at my mother, it was Angel. My mother’s face paled but I didn’t feel bad for her. She brought this upon herself. Olivia looked away before I could catch her gaze. If she had any decency, she would have turned down this lunch offer.

“Anyway, thanks for helping him, Mira.”

Mira smiled at my mother’s words. We held each others hands under the table.

“It’s nothing, ma. He looked so confused I couldn’t resist.”

I didn’t remember that part. But I remembered standing at the station, sad and almost scared till she showed up. She was my angel. My lips brushed her knuckles again and I was thankful I had been mugged that day.

“What have you been up to, Olivia?” my mother asked.

Angel and I exchanged glances and rolled our eyes. Angel picked the champagne from the bucket, causing drops of water to dot the table. She popped the bottle and yelled, “Welcome home, brother.”

Olivia’s existence was forgotten as the drink was shared. The maids came in with the chocolate pudding while they nursed our glasses. My mother glared at my sister but Angel wasn’t the least bothered. Mira was having fun. She scooped the pudding into her mouth and gave me a thumbs up.

I opened my mouth for her to feed me. She pouted but fed me the dessert. By the time I was done with the dessert, I was ready to be alone with my wife.

For the second time that day, my mother stopped us from leaving the table. I hardly concealed my anger. Whatever plans she had with Olivia would backfire. Why did Olivia make up like that or wear that revealing top? Who was she trying to impress? It couldn’t be me. Mira’s makeup was subtle and simple and perfect. My wife was more than enough for me.

My mother clapped and the maids came to clear the table. I downed the rest of the content in my glass and did the same with Mira. She wasn’t great at handling alcohol and I wouldn’t want her tipsy in the same house as my mother.

We stood up. Thoughts of all the things I could do to my wife floated into my mind. We needed to get to our room now.

“Son,” my mother started. Her gaze lowered to my hand locked on Mira.

I didn’t get a chance to tease my wife. She was fucking naked under that dress. Fuck, I wanted her.

“Why don’t you stay back to entertain our guest? Mira can help with the dishes. Can you do that, sweetie?”

“Yes, ma.”

“No, she cannot,” I murmured.

The audacity of my mother to suggest that. Why did we have maids?

My hand circled my wife’s waist. “She can’t, mum.”

“Grey, it’s fine,” Mira spoke up.

No, it wasn’t fine. Mira held my gaze and my shoulders sagged in defeat. She shouldn’t be allowing this but if she was fine with it, who was I to stop her?

“Are you sure?”

“I am,” she whispered. Mira flattened her hands on my chest. “Baby, it’s just to do the dishes.”

Something my sisters and I had never been asked to do in our whole life. I opened my mouth to say something but Mira shook her head. She was too nice.

“I’ll help too,” Angel chirped in. I threw her a grateful smile. “I have always wanted to do the dishes.”

Mira laughed and nodded for Angel to join her. She slipped away from me and my sister took her hand. Angel tugged her forward. I didn’t stop staring at them till they were out of view.

I sank into my chair. Now that Mira wasn’t here, I didn’t have a need to be civil. “What the fuck was that, mum?”

“Language, son.”

“Son? Language?” my body shook with rage but I managed to keep my anger under control. There was no hiding the disgust I felt when my gaze descended on Olivia. “And you, what the hell are you doing here? Does your husband even know you are here? What the fuck, Olivia.”

“I’ll leave you two to it,” my mother whispered and fled the scene. So like her to set us up and run.

“You should leave. You’re not wanted here.”

Olivia peered at me from beneath thick lashes. “Is the treehouse still standing?” she asked.

Of all the things I expected her to say, that was the last. I straightened up and crossed my arms. That treehouse represented a part of him I wished never existed.

“Not for long,” I answered.

Until now, I hadn’t thought of destroying it but I would so she could stop clinging to our past. There was no us, only Mira and I.

“Why?” Folding her arms under her boobs to reveal more of her cleavage, she licked her lips. “We had so many good memories in there. You took my virginity there. We used to be really good fuck buddies there.”

“Why are you telling me this?”

Olivia shrugged. “I guess I miss the memories. The fucking.” Olivia closed her eyes and moaned. I took a step away from her but she wasn’t done. “You would hold my waist and fuck me from behind, Grey. On the bed, on the floor. You were a real stallion.”

Shame poured over me like a icy bucket of water. We were young and stupid. Those nights were nothing more than nights of pleasure. She wanted to fuck me as much as I wanted to fuck her. And it happened at the treehouse because that was the only place we could get the most privacy. We were wild and young, teenagers who did what every horny teenager did.

Her eyes opened. Olivia wasn’t looking at me when she said, “I miss you, Grey. I spend most nights touching myself while pretending it’s your fingers inside me. You used to like fingering me. I would come to lunch like this but without any panties and you would finger the shit out of me.” Her gaze returned to me She smiled. “No one fucks as good as you do anymore, baby.”
Olivia walked around the table and settled on the edge. She touched my shoulder and I took another breath.

“Hi, Mira,” she said.

My blood ran cold. I froze and Olivia took that chance to palm my face. “Think about it, Grey. Me and you, in the treehouse. All those pleasant memories we could recreate again.”

I slapped her hand off me. I twirled and came face to face with Mira. Her lips were pressed into a thin line. I bridged the gap but didn’t touch her. How much did she hear?

“Mira.”

She didn’t answer. She stood on her toes and kissed me. Mind in a turmoil, I couldn’t enjoy the kiss. She stepped in front of me and Olivia’s gaze faltered. If Mira intended to hit Olivia, I would hold her down to allow my wife get in a few punches before pulling them apart.

“You should stop going after people’s husbands. Grey doesn’t want you, he wants me. He will always want me. The earlier you get that into your thick head, the better for all of us.”

Kissing me again, Mira flashed Olivia a grin. “If you will excuse us, I’ll go make love to my husband.”
