Hailey came running into the hospital screaming for Emma and me. I left the children and went to see her. I took her to Emma. Maz and I went out in the hall.
"Ben, Razer, and Francis have been going through the house. They said it was done on purpose. Someone tried to kill the whole family."
"One of our own people did this?" I growled.
"Or someone from the wolf packs. It had to be more than one person. They would have killed you and Emma, but their detonator failed." She told me.
"Why? Maz, why?" I asked.
"I don't know, Ben." She said.
"We have to find those responsible, Maz. We need to know who is behind this and when Emma was given the deadly wolfsbane."
"Are you sure it was not Thorn."
"How did he do this? And he told Emma he never used poison he like to watch the life drain from their bodies."
"I'm tired Maz, really tired." I confessed to her.
"I know, Ben, you and Emma have been through so much. Hopefully, Hailey has some answers for us all. I need to go call Emily. When I get back, you go to the pack house and get some sleep. I will watch over the children."
"I can't. I need to stay with Emma." I told her.
"You will. Emma will not wake up until tomorrow. I will be back soon." Maz hugged me then left the hospital.  

MAZ'S POV 

I went to the pack house, and Video called Emily.
"Hi Mom, how are things going?" Emily asked.
"Not so good, Emily, Someone burned down Emma and Ben's house in the middle of the night. Don't worry, everyone got out. Some have minor burns. Alaska is the worst he saved Emma if it was not for the twins and their magic we would have lost him. But he is doing good this morning."
"Is Emma ok, mom?" Emily asked.
" she has a few minor burns, but she took in a lot of smoke. They have her on oxygen and sedated so she can heal, the baby is fine."
"How could anyone have even got close to the house to do that." Emily asked.
"Pretty sure we either have bears or wolves inside the packs working with someone."
"But who, mom? you got rid of Thorn."
"Emily, have you heard of a Sir Henry in any of your circles?" I asked her.
"Yah, he is a real nut job. He tried to go after Stella, but they never caught him. He just disappeared."
"Do you know anything about him?"
"Yah, remember Lord Drew. Sir Henry is his younger brother. He has been saying he was going to advantage his Father and Lord Drews deaths. Like I said, a real nut job. Why?"
"He is here; rumor has it he was trying to work with Thorn to get rid of Emma." I told her.
"That has to be who it is, I have a picture of him from the paper. let me snap it and send it to you. We have been saving all the newspapers. Luke got the girls' bunnies." Emily sent me the picture. I should get back to the hospital. I want Ben to lie down for a bit. Thank you for your help. I will call you in a couple of days. Kiss my grand babies for me."
"I will, mom, let me know what is happening."
"I will Emily, love you."
"Love you too, mom."
When I got off the phone, I went to see Alpha Dwayne and Alpha Andrew and gave them the picture of Sir Henry.
DWAYNE'S POV 

"Have they found any evidence that can tell us where the explosives came from?" I asked.
"No, not yet. But we are still sifting through everything. There are only four people allowed near the house." Razer told me.
"Have warriors guard the house, only ones you can trust." I said. There was a knock on the door.
"Come," Andrew said. Maz came into the office, and she looked tired. 
"What is it, Maz? Is everyone still doing ok?"
"Yes, everyone is doing well. I called Emily, and I asked her if she heard of a Sir Henry she sent me this." Maz showed us the picture. 
"What else did she say?" Andrew asked.
"He tried to get at Stella but failed, and they lost them. They have not seen him since. Emily said he is a real nut job. But here is the kicker. Remember Lord Drew? He is his younger brother and wants vengeance for his brother and fathers’ death. He blames everyone who testified against him." 
"This is the guy that is here. Emily thinks he could be the one who had Emma poisoned."
We were all speechless. I had her e- mail me the picture. 
"Go get some rest, Maz. Thank you for getting us this. It helps." I told her.
"I'm trying to get Ben to rest he has not slept since the fire and has been back and forth between the rooms at the hospital."
"Do you want me to come talk to him?" I asked.
"I don't think he will listen to anyone at this point, Alpha Dwayne. He blames himself that they were able to do that to the house. I'm going to go and try to get him to rest." Maz said as she left.
"Well, where do we even start looking for this guy?" Andrew asked.
"Not a clue." Razer replied. Then he got up and went to the door.
"I'm going back to the house. See what else we can find. I feel bad for Emma and the boss they lost everything. Whatever they used made the fire burn super hot. I will let you know if I find anything." Then he was gone. Everyone felt the pain of them losing twenty-seven years of memories. I stood up and headed for the door. 
"Think I'm going to go help Razer and Francis look through the rubble. Maybe I can find something salvageable of their lives." I told Andrew and Mark. 
"That is a good idea, dad. I'm coming with you." Andrew said.
"Count me in." Mark said, getting up.
When we got to the house, we were devastated. I explained to Razer what we wanted to do. He gave us gloves and told us we could only work in areas that they had already searched for explosives. 
"Don't go near the stairs they are going to come down any minute. We are waiting for the crane to get here to safely remove them.
We nodded and started in what used to be the sitting room.
HAILEY'S POV 
When the plane landed. The driver told me about the fire. I kept telling him to go faster to get me to the pack hospital. When we pulled up, I got out of the car as fast as I could and ran into the hospital screaming for Emma and Ben.
