I took a nice warm relaxing shower while wearing a knowing smile on my face, I'm sure the others are having dinner or they are about to have dinner. Vale will arrive soon, just thinking about what is about to go down makes me feel glad and relieved. I'll admit that Arina , She started as an annoying yet ignorable itch but she grew into a dangerous foe.

I really don't know how I'm this calm when I almost died because of her, if it weren't for my bracelet and whatever being that took my form to talk to me, that vampire would've killed me. I wore my cute grey pajamas and went downstairs. Two people were seated while three were standing, staring at nobody else but the two men sitting. I felt bad for the food that was in front of them being ignored.

"Glad to see that everyone is here together with the food, it's just very disappointing that I had to invite you so that you'd have dinner with us. Are we so low that you can't sit at the same table as us Alpha Vale?"

Vale himself who I told Zik to tell him to come was his usual cold self except for the hint of excitement in his eyes or maybe he is just intrigued and I'm reading too much. Well I did tell Zik to tell him that I succeeded in what he failed to do, that alone was enough to bring him here.

"Again with the nonsense Era! Being in charge is not a game you know and even if you were playing games like an ungrateful person you are you shouldn't drag Alpha Vale in your games!" An annoying voice sounding similar to nails scratching metal ruined my mood. It belonged to none other than Arina. Did she not hear or understand me when I told her to never ever disrespect me again. Is it because Vale is here and she thinks she can act however she likes because she's been here longer.

I looked at Vale seeing if he was going to say anything but he looked like he wasn't going to do anything. Zik who would usually stand up for me saw his boss's attitude and copied it. I wonder how they will feel after I reveal the truth but I'm leaving that for last.

"Arina please shut up, I have a very good reason why I asked Sir mighty werewolf Zik to bring Alpha Vale here. You must also remember that my decisions are none of your business because I am in charge. " I couldn't hide my bored tone, don't know why I have to repeat the same thing to her.

"Honestly it's very embarrassing for a woman your age to act this way just because I took your position. Tsk! and to think I thought that long skirt of yours meant something about your character "

"Pfft!"

Zik together with Olivia had a hard time concealing their laugh while Roseanne immediately choked on her saliva after hearing me.

I turned to Vale who was still waiting patiently as if he just knew that I will tell him the most useful thing in the world.

"I thought about what we talked about and yes there is something you can do for me so that I willingly stay in your pack and be a loyal member of your pack"

Boom!

Zik, Roseanne and Olivia's heads immediately snap towards Vale with faces filled with disbelief. Arina was going through the most in the moment, a mixture of disbelief, rage, unwillingness...no it was just all ugly. I could even feel it now, so raw and unfiltered.

"I'm listening"

"I want freedom, being cooped in this forest will hinder my growth. Plus my knowledge will allow me to spot all sorts of magical ingredients that your pack members can't"

I have thought about what we talked about and as much as it came as a shocker, this is a good chance to test him. He wants my loyalty and wants me to willingly stay, so I also want to see how much he wants that. It's no secret that I was forced to stay here. What I'm asking right now might seem like a plan to escape but I really don't care what it looks like.

Oh and even if he agrees I'm definitely not going to stay here forever, I'll only make him think I'm loyal to him and escape when the time is right.

I didn't fail to notice how his expression didn't change after telling him what I wanted. He predicted that I'd ask for freedom, how smug of him.

"What a headache!

You're spouting nothing but nonsense! You think no one here knows that you'll try to escape. You're clearly mocking us. Even Roseanne, Olivia and myself who are loyal and devoted to the pack aren't allowed to roam outside of the pack. So why would someone who has only been here for 2 seconds be allowed to.

So no 'princess' you can't and you won't!"

" Unfortunately I'll have to agree with you on that" my response to her shocked not only her, it seems everyone expected me argue with her.

"What?" She muttered while looking at me as though I'm sick or something for agreeing with her. I couldn't help but laugh out loud at that " you're right I can't because the last time I did go out I was attacked by a group of vampires.

You guys remember that not too long ago Zik took me shopping, well on our way back I was almost killed by a vampire night"

As I expected they gasped, all except Vale, Zik and Arina but she quickly faked a shocked expression " H-how is that possible and why weren't we told?". She is really set on doing the most, ignored her and continued with my speech.

" But! It's not safe for me to go out and the vampires...aren't the reason for that. A smart person will ask himself how did the vampires know that I was going to leave the silver pack territory to go shopping"

"No way, there's someone working for the vampires in the pack!" It was surprisingly Olivia who blurted that out.

"Correct. Not just in the pack, I think the person is inside the elixir house so that he/she is able to watch my every move."

The excitement I felt from watching their bewildered expressions is almost addictive, my eyes finally rested on Arina.

"Isn't that right madam Arina"
