"why are you up so early...oh no wait is it because you're now in charge. You wanna appear good in front of Vale's eyes huh?" Oh my god this woman is annoying, no matter how hard I try to ignore her she just won't quit.

I shook my head not even bothering to answer her question " wow so it's now Vale, no more alpha Vale?". That managed to shut her up, she's still salty about getting demoted and if she was just a little bit of a normal person I would've given her the position. There's literally nothing impressive about being in charge of this place, even the name is stupid. Elixir house! Who the hell do they think they are- okay I need to calm down with the ridiculing cause these people now trust me. All it took were amazing potions and fighting bravely amongst them, there was no need to be a suck up like Arina or be as innocent and saintly like Roseanne.

What I'm going to start with is making the list of ingredients needed, I just hope they get them all very quickly. No they have to otherwise there won't be enough potions, I can also fart freely now that Zik isn't here. Yet I sort of miss his chatty company. Oh what I also need to do is speak to Vale, I hope he now has some idea of who is working for the vampires.

The list was very long this time, I won't just be making a lot of mid quality healing, low quality healing and anti-poison potions. I'll also have to make a lot of energy potions and invisibility potions. I might even share the invisibility potions to Roseanne and maybe some time in the future I'll make enough to share with the rest of the pack. These potions will help them strike their enemies while not being seen, it will be the most amazing element of surprise. This might even help them against the vampires.

Okay no use dreaming about the future when we might face a mighty guardian capable of ending our future. Oh god what if there'll be a lot of occurrences like this in the future. How many other guardians have been corrupted, what if these monsters aren't really the main force. What if there are other different types of monsters who are stronger than the Swift Glooms. So many possibilities, are we- are they alone capable of stopping this approaching calamity. So much violence yet to be unlocked, I'm even afraid that the pack will start losing lives. They aren't really large in numbers so I really don't see how they'll be able to stop whatever is coming. If only the other packs weren't so selfish, not to be cheesy but working together is very important right now. It might just be their only chance cause the moment I feel that things are getting bad and dangerous I'm leaving. I'm not too attached to this place in fact I'm not attached at all.

After I was done making the list of things I needed I began making the anti-poison potions. Not long after I started everyone in the house was up and I was informed that Vale wanted to speak to me. Before I went to see him I had to speak to everyone in the elixir house as the new person who's in charge. I've never been in charge of anything before and I never wanted to, I could just refuse but things are going so well between me and the werewolves. I don't want to be disrespectful. This is just super annoying, I feel no type of honor for this achievement.

Roseanne wore casual relaxing clothes and Olivia stood next to her staring at me with eagerness. Arina and her ugly bitter face was standing alone . I wonder if she woke up early to look like a more serious better leader than I am. It really doesn't matter, whatever it is that she's up to it won't even bruise me.

" Everyone I think you're all aware that I'm in charge now. I know that I'm not the brightest, kindest and most serious person and I like that about me. If you don't then that's to bad cause I don't care. Not a lot of changes will happen, just continue with what you were doing and do it with dedication...so yeah that's all"

I think that went well so let me go see Vale, I'll even be able to show him the list and not send someone. I remember that Arina would always annoy me with questions when I wanted to speak to Vale or send him something. Now things have changed, it's small but I love the small freedom. Anyone seeing me could just tell that I was in a good mood...

"So hey...I'm here" I couldn't help but say because the silence went on for too long. We were sitting in his living room, I greeted him and he didn't even care to pour me a glass of water. I'm so hungry right now, I prioritized coming here than having my breakfast.

"I know". Okay if you know I'm here than why aren't you talking, let me just give him the list I made and go back quickly. " This is what I need. It's a lot but it's really what I need to make the amount of potions that'll satify you. Also if there's nothing else I'll go back and have breakfast then work"," my pack members will go look for them but I'm wonder why you're in a rush to leave. I also haven't had my breakfast" he spoke after scanning the list. Wait is he saying I should have breakfast with him? Is that why he called me here.

"Vale why did you call me?"

He stared at me and I didn't want to lose the staring contest making him smirk.
