Viviana's POV
"Impossible mother! This is so impossible!" I screamed in rage, staring at my mother who looked very surprised as well.
"I don't understand how it happened child, she was able to overpower me"
My eyes furred in rage,"Over power you? She? A mere human? Her powers aren't out yet, mother , so how did this even happen?"
My mother looked up at me,there was a vast look in her eyes that I haven't seen before.
"My fear might be unveiling"
Confused, I walked towards where she sat, "Your fear? What fear of my mother?" I asked, my eyes not leaving her.
Gently, my mother gazed up at me, "Viviana, this is time that we get our plans changed. The part we are engaging ourselves in isn't promising anymore. This time around, a new technique should be brought forth so that we can bring her and her mother before the upcoming war breaks…." Deep silence filled the room and a great light emerged from my mother's hair.
Slowly, I watched a thick black smoke rise from inside her and head towards where I stood.
"Viviana, the enemy is watching, the time is ticking and we must grasp this whole, we must!" I heard my mother rage firmly and before I could utter a word, the thick black smoke made its way inside of me.
Filled with pain, I screamed as my body trembled greatly, sharp red light flashed through my eyes, the pain was so strong that my earthly body couldn't grasp it tightly. I fell heavily to the ground, passing out at once.

Melissa's POV
The sun had finally set, I found myself seated at the pack garden as I stared right into space, my head filled with the words of Nelson.
I can't let him go with me.
I can't let him know what is happening to me?
What if something happens? How am I going to react towards it and I still can't understand why he intends to ping along with me.
I sigh deeply, tugging my hair behind my left ear. The cold air of the night was so intense that it swayed my hair in different directions but I didn't care.
Gently, I looked up at the sky, the half moon was present accompanied with stars. It's been weeks since the last appearance of the full moon and I wonder why. Nevertheless, I couldn't take my eyes off the beauty of the half moon along with the stars that twinkled graciously.
"They are beautiful aren't they"
I turned around and was surprised to find Conri standing behind me with the lovely smile of his.
"It's you" I mumbled, giving him a smile as he walked closer and stood right next to me, our eyes fixed back to the open sky.
"I heard what happened to you, hope you are good now Melissa?" I heard what Conri said. Still not taking my gaze off the moon, I nodded with a soft smile.
"Yes I am. I guess I am really stressed out these days, I feel really weak which leads to me losing myself" I shrug my shoulders.
"I am sorry that I didn't pay you a visit during this time. I have been so busy training the werewolves, I fear that we have an upcoming war right around the corner. I don't know when the war will start or who will cause it but I can feel it from within that something isn't right and sooner or later, the war will break out"
His words struck me, concerned,I averted my gaze at him only to find a more worried look on Conri's face, an expression which told me that something serious might be really bothering him.
"Are you alright Conri? You don't look fine to me?" I asked him to stare at the open sky.
Conri took a deep, loud breath, he shook his head, turning his eyes at me, "Call me a liar if I tell you that I am fine. I am really worried"
"Why?"
"It's concerning the pack Melissa '' he sniffed deeply and scratched his chin.
"Is it concerning the traitor, ever since the incident that befell Nelson, have you two been able to find out who this traitor is?" I asked, fully remembering the reason behind Nelson's stubborn decision into the woods.
"No, that was a total failure on our part, the traitor was never seen by Nelson. And the more surprising thing is how they were able to sight Nelson so easily deep in the woods before their Meetup would prolong"
A frown appeared on my face as I listened to his words.
"How do you know about this Conri?" I inquired.
"Nelson said this himself, this is something he didn't tell Tinox or anyone so that he won't raise an alarm" Conri responded.
At once, a thought hit me really hard.
"Are you saying that someone must have informed them of Nelson's coming?"
"Maybe" he muttered.
"But that's impossible! This was only made known to the royal attendance and guards. Is it possible that the traitor leaves around the walls of this royal home?"
Conri appeared very devastated and lost for words.
"This has been a big concern for me and Nelson ever since the cake came out of his coma. Right now, we don't trust anyone, no one at all that's why we haven't said any of this to anyone. You are their person knowing this apart from me and Nelson. The whole ordeal is just so confusing, that is why I am training more werewolves, i am sure that the hunters wolves might want to attack us too so we must be ready at all times''
At that point, I felt really devastated to hear that the traitor was around us.
"We have to be careful since this Traitor is yet to be found. The walls have ears so whatever discussion you might have with Nelson, it's best you two say it where no walls can hear…" I paused with worried but sharp eyes, "I know that I am just human but ever since I was brought in and told of my duties as the next Luna online, I won't be able to fold my hands and watch things crumble down to dirt. I wish there is something I can do to stop this and regarding my first encounter deep in the woods and how I was almost killed by one of the hunters, I knew at that point how dangerous they can be." I paused feeling very bad towards Nelson, this whole issue is heavy on his shoulders and clearly, he is out of ideas on what to do just to solve it.
Conri stared at me really intensely, there was a certain look in his eyes which told me that he did have something he really wanted to say.
"Why the stare?"
He looked away and not his lower lip shook his head and his long black hair couldn't stop swinging to the touch of the wind.
"I am afraid to say this Melissa but that isn't all"
Confused, I narrowed my gaze trying to pay full attention with deep curiosity subduing me.
"What do you mean Conri?" I asked.
At first, he didn't say a word. Slowly, he looked up at me with so much emotion in his eyes, "There is a bigger problem. I know about the love affair between Anabelle and one of the hunters guards"
I gasped in surprise, my hand quickly covering my mouth.
