Deep trance

"Are you okay?" Gray deepthroated, walking into the living room as he threw himself on the available couch. Glendale's eyes were on the television but her mind was so far away, like she was unconscious with her eyes opened.

Gray glanced at her. He looked at her intently, expecting she was going to react because whenever vampires stare too much at each other, they are trying to communicate something without talking. Glendale shifted in her position but she didn't blink.

She was lost in thoughts, her distant eyes made it so obvious. Gray sat down beside her, he stared at her face for some minutes. "You were there for me when I needed it the most...." Gray's hands got raised up, he gave tiny trails on her face slowly.

Glendale shook and came back to her senses, "How long have you been here?" She gave a little distance by shifting away from him which he wouldn't deny hurt him a little. "Just a few minutes ago." Gray sighed, dropping his hands which were hanging in the air.

A few seconds of silence with Glendale avoiding his eyes, "You miss her, don't you?" Gray asked, looking straight into her eyes. Glendale looked at him this time and in the next second, she took her eyes off again before nodding slowly. "Very much. I see her everyday, in my dreams and everywhere. I just want to see her again." Glendale bursted into tears.

Gray pulled her closer gently, rubbing her hair. "We have been searching for her all these years. We will find her, don't worry." He whispered, trying to calm her down. "When? When exactly?" His heart broke into thousand pieces, listening to the sound of her sobs.

In a family of three, two girls ran around the living room, playing. "We need to transfer the kids to another city." A woman with a natural red hair whispered to her trembling husband. "Where? Those bastards will find our children no matter where we run to." Her husband replied with a fearful heart.

The two parent watched their children play around happily, in sorrow. "What do we do, Michael? I can't lose my twin girls, I can't." Their mother's cry attracted the children. "Mummy, why are you sad?" One of the twin girls who had a full black hair asked. "Did daddy refuse to buy you flowers again?" The second one with a natural red hair added.

"Mummy is fine, girls. Mummy is fine." Ana, their mother pulled her baby girls into her bossom as she wept. Suddenly, a windy air blew into the room. "They are here, Michael. They are here." She carried her girls upstairs immediately.

The door bursted open, "We need the girls now." A tall woman stepped into the house, "They are two. The one with black hair is a vampire while the red haired one is a witch. Where are they?" Michael's tears rolled down his face, he bit his lips to prevent him crying out loud.

As much as he tried to hide the identity of his children, they still found out. "They are out, playing." Michael replied with a heavy heart. He knew he was going to die even if he said the truth. It was better dieing without the truth of their whereabouts found.

Ana drove the car out of the compound with full speed, tears flowing freely on her face. One part, she was sure her husband would die in there and on the other part, she was scared for her children. "She's with the children." Ana could hear them with her ear picking signals and she increased the speed of the car.

She drove to an underground where she was sure they wouldn't find in the next one hour which meant she had to get her children to somewhere safe in an hour. But where would she take them to? "Grace, you have to promise me...." Her housemaid was waiting for her in the underground.

Grace wasn't shaking visibly but she was very scared, "I know you are scared and I am putting this kind of responsibility on you but you understand me the most in this world after my husband ---" Ana swallowed, rushing her words.

"--promise me, you'll get them to somewhere safe, somewhere very far away from here." Ana held Grace's hands before placing the twin girls in her care. Ana placed firm kisses on the girls' forehead and cheeks, crying bitterly before she ordered her housemaid to take them away.

"I'm sorry girls. I can't take care of you anymore. I hope you find a good life and true love. I hope you don't remember you've lost your parents. I hope you embrace your different lives till you grow older and stronger." Ana covered her mouth to prevent her wails getting loud.

Grace was having trouble carrying both girls but she had to keep moving. Finally, she got to the plane and carried the girls inside. She inputted a passcode and the plane opened. The kids were comfortably seated in the plane and she inputted the code again, locking the plane totally.

"Playing my role in saving your lives has been a pleasure." Grace placed her hands on her lips and blew a kiss to the plane while it started to fly. The automatic plane would definitely take them to a safe land where some good people will take them in and they'll live their lives in peace.

The girls giggled happily until they slept. The plane finally landed in another country, Los Angeles. "Mama...." The red haired girl started crying as they both stepped out of the plane. The airport was crowding, nobody cared why the kids were out alone. The chubby girls kept walking until they both disappeared into the crowd, separated.

In and out of uncompleted rooms, Helen finally entered a particular room. Prastina peeped surprisingly, "Hello? Anyone here ---" ....."Sister!!" Helen gasped happily. Baby Camila was in the same spot her big sister had left her. Prastina watched shockingly as Helen carried the big baby.

That baby would weigh about eight pounds. How the hell is Helen able to handle all these alone? She watched Helen pour all the contents of the bags on the floor. Diapers, pampers, cheeseburger, milk, chocolate, and so many other things her brain could figure a baby would need.

"Amazing...." Prastina admitted. "What's her name?" She asked. Helen looked at her with unsure eyes before handling Camila over to her. "Camila." The moment Prastina's hands came in contact with Baby Camila's, she fell into a deep trance.

Prastina found herself in a leveled ground, in the midst of a family. A man, his red haired wife and their two children; the oldest, a boy and the youngest, a girl. It was obvious that they were happy, the family were very happy which made Prastina smile.

Suddenly, she got transferred to a school environment where she saw so many rich kids bullying the less privileged ones and one of those parents' children was one of the bullies - the youngest one. "I think her parents aren't aware their daughter is a bully." Prastina's eyebrows contorted in displeasure.

In another minute, she was taken to another department where she could see the oldest child crying. Why was he crying? "He is seeing symptoms of him not being human and this morning, he became aware that he is a vampire." Every of her questions was getting answered through her as if she knew the scenes already.

Somehow, it made her remember Cameron being a vampire. Was that what he felt when he found out he wasn't a normal human anymore?Prastina was getting tired of the back and forth scene descriptions. What's her business with the daughter being a bully or the son, trying to embrace his vampire new life? What exactly do they want her to see?

Suddenly, she found herself in an hospital, in the midst of surgeons operating a woman. Prastina felt an unsettling feeling. Something wasn't right. Why does she feel that something wasn't right or something bad was going to happen?

Prastina moved closer to the people operating. Her jaws dropped in shock with what she saw. Cameron's mother was the one they were operating. Wait, wasn't she dead already? And even embalmed? Prastina was confused. Is she in the past?

Well, there was something else. That boy, the one who just discovered he was a vampire some minutes ago was now grown up, though still looking very young. That wasn't the problem. The problem is, that boy is the one operating Cameron's mother!

Prastina stepped back confusingly. Her eyes traveled back to the face of the boy. She wanted to be sure he is the same one she was thinking about. Her hands went up to her eyes to clean it, was she seeing things? She was even more surprised to see the boy was Cameron's carbon copy, they have the same face!

Prastina was very confused, what the hell is happening? Her eyes snapped towards the beeping monitor, indicating Cameron's mother would die soon if the operation doesn't go smoothly. That was the least of the problem until Prastina lifted her eyes upwards and there she was, smirking at her devilishly - the grown up Camila.
