Chapter 161: Raphael is a Tragedy
Chapter 161: Raphael is a Tragedy
Raphael was fuming; he'd been on a losing streak since the night before last.
Now, the guy behind all his problems was standing right in front of him. Raphael glanced at the wooden stick in his hand and chucked it aside. He figured using his fists would be way more satisfying.
Jack was a tough dude. It didn't seem fair for the other guy to be empty-handed while he had a bat. Even though this turtle kid was half a head taller than him, so what? When it came to brawling on Hellfire Boulevard, he wasn't scared of anyone except the boss.
Raphael, though tall, was super quick. He got into a karate stance and slid towards Jack, throwing a couple of feints and faking a move to go for Jack's lower body, trying to catch him off guard.
Raphael's move worked like a charm. But tough guy Jack fought just like his boss: if you don't poke my eyes or kick my groin, I'll take your hit, and once I grab you, you're toast.
Sure enough, everyone saw Raphael land a solid punch on Jack's jaw, making Jack's head snap back. The sound of the punch was like a firecracker, making everyone worry for him.
Jack sneered, ignoring the heavy blow. As his body leaned back, he grabbed Raphael's shoulders with both hands, his elbows blocking Raphael's arms, taking another kick to his gut.
His waist and abs tensed like a spring, and he swung his head, smashing it into Raphael's forehead.
Another explosive sound echoed, and everyone winced, gasping in shock.
Ginny covered her face with her hands, peeking through her fingers, watching the big guy she just met get knocked out cold by Jack's brutal headbutt, without even a chance to fight back.
Jack gave a thumbs-up and made a mafia throat-slitting gesture to the turtles, signaling they were done for.
The little girl ran over, kicking Jack's calf as she passed by and making a face at him. Then she squatted by Raphael's head to check if he was okay.
Jack helplessly glanced at Alvin, wondering what to do now that their little princess had turned against them.
Alvin ignored him, looking at Raphael's face, which looked like it had been hit by a sledgehammer. Even the self-proclaimed tough guy felt a pang of sympathy for Raphael.
Raphael had a big gash on his forehead, and his round, large nose was also affected, spraying blood like a fountain.
Alvin knew Jack had held back; otherwise, with his strength, if that hit had landed on Raphael's fragile nose, the turtle would be buying a coffin by now. But even so, a concussion was inevitable for the turtle.
Leonardo rushed to Raphael's side, feeling his pulse and letting out a long breath. Then he looked angrily at Jack, showing his strong disapproval of Jack's brutality.
Jack stared back at Leonardo, ready to throw down at any moment.
Alvin saw Ginny looking at him with tearful eyes and couldn't bear it. It was rare for her to have a friend. After thinking for a moment, he called Ethan, asking him to bring the first aid kit because they had an injured person.
He pulled out a roll of toilet paper from the bar, tore off two pieces, rolled them up, and stuffed them into Raphael's bleeding nostrils. The turtle's nose was big, but his nostrils weren't, so the pressure might be a bit much.
Alvin pushed the paper in firmly, then took a large handful of toilet paper and pressed it against Raphael's forehead, signaling Ginny to hold it in place.Ginny, seeing her dad willing to help, giggled and kissed him on the cheek, then pressed her hands firmly on Raphael's forehead through the toilet paper.
Alvin patted Ginny's head in praise. She was a kind girl, even though her actions might make Raphael's wound bleed more. But who cares? A little blood wouldn't kill him, and the girl's kindness was what mattered, right?
Tony, gasping, circled around Jack, patting his arm and saying enviously, "My God, you're the toughest guy I've ever seen. Buddy, whatever Alvin's paying you, I'll pay five times more. Come work for me!
If you agree, I'll fire that idiot Derek right away."
Jack raised an eyebrow at Tony, clearly pleased with the compliment. But when it came to switching jobs, Jack shook his head and said, "I'm good here. The boss is nice, and I don't want to change jobs. Besides, I can't be a bodyguard; it would drive me crazy."
Tony shrugged regretfully and said with a smile, "Well, that's too bad. But buddy, I still have to say, you're really tough. That turtle kid doesn't look like a pushover."
Jack grinned proudly and said in a low, somewhat lewd voice, "I am tough, haha!"
Tony pointed a finger at Jack and said, "You're a bad guy, but I like you. I'm having a big party at my place in a few days, and I'll invite you. You know what I mean!"
Ethan arrived quickly. When he entered the restaurant and saw the turtles, he was taken aback. But as a seasoned doctor, a few green freaks didn't scare him.
Alvin raised an eyebrow, watching Ethan use a stapler to close the gash on Raphael's forehead, his demeanor relaxed and his actions rough, not caring that Raphael's already unattractive face was turning into a "scarface."
Michelangelo bit his finger, looking at the miserable Raphael. He thought it was normal to get beaten up for what they did last night, but seeing Raphael in such a bad state was a bit too much! He almost thought Raphael was dead!
Thinking that he would likely face the big bearded guy next, since the guy had been staring at him with a grin, Michelangelo scratched his bald head anxiously. The big bearded guy was clearly tougher than the big black guy because, although he wasn't as tall, his chest was bigger, maybe even bigger than April's. Michelangelo glanced at April beside him, lost in thought.
Seeing Raphael's miserable state, Steve's desire to teach the turtles a lesson faded. Although his head was broken, as a man, it wasn't good to hold grudges against kids, right? "Don't you think so?" Steve said, suddenly appearing beside the reporter April.
April was clearly interested in Steve too. Steve was indeed impressive; he could fulfill all a woman's fantasies about a man. Tall, strong, hairy, and most importantly, he seemed to know Tony, so he probably wasn't poor.
Frank waved his hand irritably, looking at Alvin, signaling what to do next.
The old executioner found his heart softening. He had just discussed tactics with Jack and Steve to teach the turtles a harsh lesson. But seeing Raphael's miserable state, Frank felt a bit reluctant to act.
Alvin felt the atmosphere getting awkward and was about to speak when the restaurant door was rudely pushed open.
Alvin squinted, looking carefully, and saw S.H.I.E.L.D.'s "Suit Cowboy" Russell dragging a big rat into the restaurant by its leg.
Russell scanned the restaurant, completely ignoring the threats from Thor and Dom, and grinned at Alvin, saying, "What's going on here? A monster meeting?"
Alvin admired the handsome bastard in front of him. Alvin had seen many handsome and tough guys, but a guy who could still look this good after being shot several times was a rare sight.
