Chapter 158: Is Tony an Exception?

Alvin scratched his head, clearly frustrated after hearing Steve out. He'd thought about it, sure, but those vines had already combed through the entire underground of the school and still came up empty on that so-called "dragon bone."

Who knows if the Handshake Association folks would be spitting mad when they realized they were barking up the wrong tree. But honestly, who cares? It's not like anyone on their side is kicking the bucket. Alvin couldn't care less how many of those Handshake Association guys bit the dust!

Alvin grinned at Steve and said, "I wonder what that 'dragon bone' they're after really is? But whatever, they'll come sniffing around eventually, and when they do, we'll just take 'em out. The fewer of those scumbags, the better."

Steve shrugged, "Yeah, but I'm not a fan of just sitting around waiting for them to come to us. This is the second time already, right?"

Thinking about last night's run-in, Alvin found it pretty funny. Those elite assassins from the Handshake Association got taken out by a wave of stench, dying without accomplishing a thing, leaving just one survivor.

He hoped she wouldn't be too traumatized and would keep coming back for more trouble. Otherwise, how would Alvin find the time to go after them?

Watching the residents slowly return home as the stench faded, Alvin smiled and said, "Steve, I promised those little turtles a one-on-one chance. You ready?

Don't get your head bashed in again, that'd be embarrassing. Judging by their build, they seem pretty skilled. Think you can handle it?"

Steve had tangled with the little turtles before and got his head busted, but admitting he couldn't handle it? No way.

With a hearty laugh, Steve said, "That was different. That day, it was Jack's fault, and we were in the wrong.

What those little punks did yesterday, they need a serious lesson. That damn smell still makes me want to puke.

By the way, are they considered turtles or humans?"

Alvin paused, thought for a moment, and said, "I guess they're more human. Aside from doing some dumb stuff and looking a bit ugly, they're actually kinda cute.

They're better than a lot of people who are beasts in human skin. At least they value brotherhood.

Not many folks are willing to die for their brothers these days!"

Alvin's words seemed to stir up some memories for Steve. After a moment of silence, Steve nodded and said, "You're right, they're not bad, kinda interesting.

But those little punks still need a beating, or I won't be able to sleep tonight."

Alvin laughed and bumped fists with Steve, sealing their agreement.

Looking over at Dr. Kate, he saw they were almost done.

Alvin then called Megan, telling her to bring the kids back. There was gonna be some excitement tonight, and it would be a shame if they missed it. Besides, what was his beautiful girlfriend doing hanging out at a playboy's house?

Standing at the restaurant entrance, watching the staff clean the place with "super deodorizer," the smell seemed even better than before.

Then Alvin borrowed some tools from Kate and personally went downstairs to spray the basement, especially the cold storage.

In just a few hours, the little turtles were almost suffocated by the stench. What Alvin did was basically saving their lives.

Leaving some large pizzas in the cold storage, Alvin called Samuel to the first floor. No need to keep anyone watching here; the little turtles couldn't escape anyway.

Splinter, the big rat, had already been beaten by Samuel three times. He probably wouldn't come looking for trouble today.Splinter limped back to his sewer home, looking worse for wear. He sighed, admitting to himself that the old blind guy was no joke. Sure, he managed to break one of the guy's arms, but he took a beating himself, and his ribs felt like they were cracked.

After a moment of hesitation, Splinter pulled out a beat-up phone and made a call. He couldn't handle this alone and needed backup.

The phone rang a few times before someone picked up. Before they could say anything, Splinter jumped in, "April, I need your help. Leonardo and the others got captured."

"No, no, no, don't call the cops. The other side doesn't seem to have any major ill intentions, just wants to teach them a lesson. These little guys made a big mess last night."

"Yeah, just check on them. If they're okay, that's enough. Don't even think about rescuing them; the other side is really strong."

"It's fine, letting these little punks suffer a bit isn't the worst thing. Thanks, April!"

That night, Whispering Pines Cafe was closed because, honestly, even if it were open, no one would come to eat. The whole street had lost their appetite thanks to the lingering stench.

Ginny and Nick stood at the bar, curiously watching the little turtles chow down.

Michelangelo opened his mouth wide and stuffed a slice of pizza in, swallowing it in a few bites. Just as he was about to grab another slice, he noticed the two kids watching him without any fear. Michelangelo grinned and made a goofy face to try and scare them.

Kids being kids, Nick and Ginny just laughed, not scared of the big turtle at all.

Ginny had a soft spot for anyone who was different. Excitedly, she tugged at Alvin's clothes, wanting to slide down and get a closer look at the little turtles.

Alvin chuckled and put her down, letting her go play. The little turtles weren't dangerous, and Ginny seemed super curious about them, so why not let her check them out?

Nick gave his dad a few looks, all of which Frank ignored. So, Nick had to climb down from the bar himself. Acting like a big brother, he held Ginny's hand and went to see the big turtles together.

Donatello liked kids and took two slices of pizza, much to Michelangelo's dismay, to share with Ginny and Nick.

The two kids had already had dinner with Tony and were full. Nick waved off Donatello's offer, punched his chest shell, and curiously asked, "Isn't it heavy carrying that shell all the time? You guys are really strong, stronger than my dad!"

Ginny took the pizza from Donatello and ran over to Raphael, who was sitting on the ground. The little girl thought he looked the least happy and wanted to cheer him up with the pizza.

Raphael, who had been sulking for a while, managed a smile for the kind little girl. He didn't refuse her kindness and ate the pizza in a few bites.

Ginny, eyes wide with curiosity, tugged at the shell under Raphael's neck, wanting him to come closer so she could see how his mouth worked. He ate so fast, it was amazing!

Tony, dressed in a flashy gold suit, nudged Alvin with his elbow and said worriedly, "Are you really okay with this? These creatures look tough!"

Alvin gave Tony's physique a disdainful look and said leisurely, "They're not bad, and here, all the men can handle them, except you.

Buddy, how's your judo training going?"

Tony blew a kiss to Pepper, who was chatting with Megan and Jessica, and said flippantly, "I don't need that stuff. My new Mark 5 is ready. It only takes fifteen seconds to suit up, and I can carry it in a briefcase. With it, I can take on anyone in the world."

Seeing Alvin's expression, Tony quickly added, "Any normal person in the world."
