Chapter 113. Dreams Come True
**113\. Dreams Come True**
***Third Person's POV***
As the reception began, the melody of "Never Let You Go" filled the room.
Travis and Sabrina took to the dance floor, moving gracefully as if the world around them had disappeared. Their chemistry was undeniable, and the audience watched in awe, some snapping pictures while others clapped in rhythm to the music.
As they swayed together, Travis leaned closer, his breath warm against Sabrina's ear. "Now I understand why this song is so important to you," he whispered.
Sabrina smiled and hugged him tightly, nodding in silent agreement.
"I have a surprise for you," Travis said, his voice teasing.
Her brows lifted in curiosity. "What is it?"
"You'll find out soon enough," he replied with a grin.
Sabrina smirked, playfully tilting her head. "Well, I have a surprise for you too," she said with a wink.
"Oh?" Travis raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Now I really can't wait."
The night passed in celebration, and soon it was time for Sabrina and Travis to leave for their honeymoon. Mark, ever the reliable friend, had offered to look after Wynter in their absence.
"Please take good care of her," Sabrina reminded Mark for what felt like the hundredth time. "No bad habits, no junk food, and if she even whispers my name, call me immediately."
Mark rolled his eyes, holding back a chuckle. "Sab, I've got this. Wynter's in good hands, I promise. Relax, enjoy your honeymoon, and don't worry about a thing."
Sabrina gave him a skeptical glance but finally relented when Mrs. Ann chimed in, reassuring her that everything would be fine.
Before leaving, Sabrina knelt down to hug Wynter tightly. "Be good, okay? Mommy will be back before you know it."
Wynter nodded, her little arms wrapping around Sabrina. "I'll miss you, Mama Iris."
"I'll miss you more, baby," Sabrina said, kissing Wynter on the forehead before stepping into Travis's car.
The private jet hummed softly as they soared toward their destination. Sabrina, seated beside Travis in the cockpit for the first time, marveled at the view.
"Are we there yet, Captain?" she asked, her excitement bubbling over.
Travis glanced at her with a mischievous grin. "Fasten your seatbelt. We're almost there."
Moments later, the plane descended, and Travis carefully guided Sabrina off. With her eyes still covered, she could sense the sea breeze and hear the soft lapping of waves.
Travis finally uncovered her eyes, revealing a pristine island before her.
"Wow," Sabrina breathed, taking in the turquoise waters, powdery white sand, and lush greenery. "It's beautiful, Travis. But... this isn't Den's island. Is it?"
"Nope," Travis said, watching her reaction closely. "This one's different. Better, I hope."
She spun around, her dress flowing in the breeze. "I love it!"
Travis sighed with relief. "Thank God. I was so nervous when I bought it. I kept thinking, 'What if she doesn't like it?'"
Sabrina froze, her eyes wide. "You bought it?"
"Of course," Travis replied with a smirk. "And you like my Aston Martin, don't you? Well, it's yours now too. Consider both of these my wedding gifts to you."
Sabrina stared at him in disbelief before throwing her arms around his neck. "I don't even know what to say... Thank you, Nio. I love you."
Travis smiled, wrapping his arms around her waist. "I love you even more." Then, with a playful smirk, he added, "Now, what about my gift?"
Sabrina grinned, stepping back. "You'll get it soon enough," she teased, heading toward the house nestled in the center of the island.
Before she could get too far, Travis swept her off her feet and carried her toward the house.
"Travis!" she exclaimed, laughing.
"Can't have my bride running away now, can I?" he joked as they entered the beautifully decorated home.
Once inside, Travis gently set her down. "Get comfortable. I'll bring our things," he said, stepping back outside.
Sabrina sighed, a contented smile on her lips, as she opened the bag they had brought along.
Sabrina stepped into the restroom, her heart racing with anticipation. She slipped into the delicate lingerie she had purchased specifically for tonight-a bold choice, but one that felt right for the moment. Taking a deep breath, she adjusted the sheer fabric, letting the confidence she rarely flaunted shine through.
The soft creak of the bathroom door drew Travis's attention as he lay on the bed, half-asleep. His eyes flew open, and he shot upright when he saw Sabrina standing there, her silhouette illuminated by the soft glow of the bedside lamp.
"Sabrina..." he murmured, his voice thick with awe.
She smiled playfully and took a few steps closer. "Surprise," she said, her voice sultry.
Travis ran a hand through his hair, still trying to process the sight before him. "Is this my surprise?" he asked, a boyish grin spreading across his face.
Sabrina shook her head, her eyes sparkling. "Not quite. There's more."
Before he could respond, she reached out her hand. Travis didn't hesitate; he took it, letting her pull him closer. As they stood inches apart, he noticed her other hand hidden behind her back.
"What's my other surprise?" he asked, his voice low and filled with curiosity.
Sabrina gently placed his hands on her stomach, holding them there with purpose.
Travis furrowed his brow, searching her face for answers. The moment their eyes met, something clicked. His breath hitched as realization dawned on him.
"Wait... Are you-?" His voice broke as the words caught in his throat.
Sabrina nodded, her smile soft and warm. "Yes, Travis. You're going to be a father again."
His mouth fell open, and for a moment, he simply stared at her, overwhelmed. "But... how? Nothing happened between us..."
Sabrina's cheeks flushed, but she held his gaze. "Do you remember the day we went to spy on Helen, and everything went sideways? You woke up the next morning... well, let's just say, less than fully dressed."
Travis blinked, the memory flashing back. "I remember that. But you told me nothing happened!"
"I was scared," she admitted, her voice barely above a whisper. "I thought telling you the truth might ruin everything we'd just started building together. You're the first man I've ever been with, Travis. And I knew then, just as I know now, you'll be the last."
Travis's jaw dropped. "Wait-you're saying I was your first?"
Sabrina nodded, her blush deepening.
"And that night... it wasn't a dream?"
She laughed softly. "No, it wasn't. Though, judging by your reaction, you thought it was?"
Travis ran a hand down his face, chuckling nervously. "I honestly wasn't sure. I remembered everything, but it felt so surreal. I thought it might've just been a vivid dream." His expression grew serious as he added, "I wish I'd been fully aware. I would've made it... better for you."
"It was perfect," Sabrina assured him, her hand brushing against his cheek.
Travis swallowed hard, still processing everything. "How long have you known?"
"Remember when I thought I had food poisoning a few weeks ago?" she asked.
He nodded.
"That's when I started suspecting, but the initial test was negative. Then, after the accident last week, the doctor ran some tests and told me everything, including the baby, was fine. I was shocked. She explained that at-home tests aren't always accurate, especially early on. During the wedding preparations, I had a full scan done just to be sure. Here." She reached for the folded papers nearby and handed them to him.
Travis scanned the documents, his hands trembling slightly. When he looked up, his eyes were filled with emotion. "We're going to be parents again," he whispered, more to himself than to her.
Sabrina nodded, her own eyes glistening with tears.
"You've given me the greatest gift," he said, pulling her into his arms. "You've made me the happiest man alive."
As he kissed her, his emotions poured out-love, gratitude, joy, and hope for the future.
"So it really wasn't a dream," he murmured against her lips.
Sabrina chuckled. "No, it wasn't."
"Well, it makes sense. Our whole story feels like a dream come true," Travis said, his grin wide.
"And this is just the beginning," Sabrina added softly.
Travis's expression turned mischievous. "Now it's my turn to make your dreams come true. This time, while I'm fully conscious-because I want to remember every second."
Without another word, he swept her into his arms and carried her to the bed, their laughter and love filling the room as the night became a celebration of everything they had built together-and everything that was yet to come.
