Chapter 19 Research
“If that is the case then Kenzie we need to take a blood sample and see if we can figure things out of what they might have done to you. We need to figure out what they gave you and what changes you may go through.” Sam said.
“I am not sure if I will do it all and if we will ever get a true answer. This may take a while or you may have to go through the change sooner than you planned on.” Trent said before Adam said anything.
“If that has to be done then I will turn and we will end all of this with the Hunters. One way or another has to stop and we need to get true rules with the Hunters. It will be the only way we can save the supernatural’s from Hunters from hunting us to extinction. If we don’t find answers soon, then Adam I want you to turn me and we get married or whatever we have to do to end this of them coming after us. We need a plan and I think we will have to come up with it soon.”
“Kenzie I want you to be with me forever but I don’t want to turn you like this. It wouldn’t be right to turn you because of all of this that is going on. I love you and I want you to be safe but I want you to want to be turned for all the right reasons and not because you feel you have to be turned. I want you to marry me because you Love Me not because you think it is what needs to be done.” Adam yelled.
“Will you stop yelling at me and we can talk about this comely or I will leave for a while and you can just go stay at your house with your brothers? You have not asked me why I am thinking about going ahead of changing now. You what to think it is just to save everyone from any more trouble. I would have thought you would know me better than that and that would not be the only reason for me. Matter of fact I think you need to go to your house now and leave me alone for a while. The rest are more than welcome to stay the night and I will take a shower. Help yourself to the house and I will see you all in the morning.”
“Kenzie wait you really need to talk to Adam about all of this. You need to make him understand what is going on and what happened to you there.” Sam and Haven Said.
“I can’t right now he says all that and not trust in that I love him and he wants to act like that then he need not know that they raped me and that Sid force himself on me. That I am scared that if he knows that he will not want me anymore and that now I could have that monster's baby. Because part of that drink was to help me have a baby faster. I need a shower and get all of this off of me and then go get a test to see if I will have that monster's baby or if I will abort it to save myself from this nightmare.”
“Kenzie I didn’t know that they did that to you. Why didn’t you tell me when we were locked up?” Asked Haven.
“I couldn’t we was in enough trouble and you needed no more on your plate. Sam please just do your research and find out what you can. I will give you blood and some other stuff I left at the scene by the mailbox that should help you out. If you want to go get it. It is in a part of my shirt under the mailbox in a paper bag so it looks like trash. Goodnight everyone.”
“I will head over and check on Adam and then I will go to the park factor by the mailbox and get that staff that Kenzie said was there. So Haven if you can keep an eye on Kenzie while I’m gone I’ll be back and check them all is in a little while. Just everyone sticks together and stay safe.” Sam said.
“Sam went home to check on Adam. Adam where are you at? I know you’re here. You’re pouting. We need to talk. Adam Kenzie’s right you jumped the gun you didn’t think about her feelings and all this. You didn’t even let her explain what happened to her when she was kidnapped. You assumed that she wanted the turn to save everyone. She so in love with you. It’s written all over her face. Plus, as a defense going on as she scared to tell you.”
“Why would she get scared to tell me anything? I love her and she knows that.”
“It is the way you act and she still can’t believe you will stay with her no matter what since no one has put her friends.”
“Don’t tell me how to show her I love her you know nothing.”
“Obviously I know a lot more about what’s going on with her and why she doesn’t want to talk to you. So I would shut up and listen for a change. I have research to do, but there are things you need to know. It is just not my place to tell you.”
“What are you not telling me, Sam?” “Look give her time and she will tell you, but I have to go pick something up that Kenzie left by the pop factory. She kept stuff they had around her and she put it down by the mailbox where we rescued her. Adam you need to go to her and talk to her. She loves you and it scares her.”
“I will when she and I are more rational.”
“Hell with this.” Adam took off running toward Kenzie’s house. He ran inside and straight to her bedroom and picked her up in his arms and kissed her.”
“I am so sorry for fighting with you Kenzie I love you more than anything in the world. Please tell me what happens to you while they held you captive. Plus, I want no I need to know the real reason you want to turn now instead of waiting as we talk about.”
“I can’t tell you because I’m afraid that you wouldn’t want me any more if I tell what they did.”
“Baby no matter what. I will always want you and need you in my life.”
“I hope you are right. First Kat’s dad Sid gave me this drink to make me get pregnant faster than he raped me and force himself on me. I could carry his baby. I sent Sam to get some of it I saved so he could test it and to see if I will have a baby. The only baby I want to have is your Adam. I love you and I want to be with you forever. If I turn now or later, it is always because I love you and want to be with you. I wished you would believe that. If I turn out not to be pregnant, then I want us to have one now that way I will be happy and it will slow them down some. Then we can get married later and then turn me.”
“I think you have it backward Kenzie. If we will have a baby, then we will be married first, then you will be turned and next, we will have our baby together. Let’s get this research done on your blood and that stuff you saved and go from there. Plus, I will never forget that you are mine and only mine again. I love you and I never want to be without you.” Adam said.
Going back for the stuff that was hidden down by a factor by Kenzie. He could help but wonder how they were doing and if his pig-headed brother has a talk with his mate. Found what I was looking, for now, I can get out of here. Sam thought to himself. When he got home, he went straight to his lab. He did testing on a liquid that Kenzie saved from a drink. And while he had that test going he did testing on her blood. He wasn’t sure what he would should find on either test. I have to make sure she is not pregnant, and that they did nothing to her to make her sick. I hope that they didn’t rush something that would have come out when she transforms into a vampire. If they caused something to come forward before she was ready then we will have to watch her closely Sam was thinking to himself. Trent walks in and says everything is fine over a Kenzie’s house.
“How is everything going on over here?”
“I am not sure just yet. But I am thinking Kenzie was right they made something come about in here that wouldn’t have come out until she transformed. But the good news is that she is not pregnant.”
“What could they have brought out in here?”
“It could be many things and they seem to think she will be a powerful person to risk doing this to her. This test won’t show what they brought out in her only what they used to do it with. I still have a few hours before I will do the test so you can go got sleep Trent.”
“Ok you try to not stay up too much longer you will need sleep.” “Night Trent.”
“Night Sam.”
When everyone got up and was having breakfast Sam came over and said he had news for everyone. But mostly it was for Kenzie and Adam.
“Well, we are all here and ready for what you have to tell us, Sam.”
“Well, the good news is that Kenzie is not pregnant, and she is still healthy as ever.” “Well, that is great news, Sam, thank you,” Kenzie said.
“Now what is the rest of what you have to tell us,” ShaSha asked
“Well, the test I did on the stuff that Kenzie could save of what they had her drink will make something come forth that wouldn’t have come until she transformed into a vampire. I can’t tell what will come forth we will have to wait and see. I know that the stuff they use is powerful magic, and they had to pay a lot of money to get this stuff because only a few witches and sources know how to make this drink. Right now it’s a waiting game to see what will happen with Kenzie and I don’t believe it will be anything bad since she is not an evil person at heart or in her mind.”
“That’s it I have to wait this out and see what happens? How can that be? I can already feel I am different and I am not sure why.”
“It will be ok Kenzie we will handle it together,” said Adam.
“The rest of us are here for you,” said Conner.
“We are all friends till the end, “said Sami.
