Chapter 24 JewelSeaHeart

I looked up at Aria. After a few days of not seeing her, she looked even better than before.

She walked towards me in high heels and a fitted dress, her figure swaying seductively. When she reached me, she adjusted her hair, deliberately revealing the necklace on her neck.

Seeing the JewelSeaHeart on her neck, my eyes widened, and my body trembled uncontrollably.

There were only three JewelSeaHearts in the world. One of them was a keepsake from my mother.

When my mother was seriously ill, she insisted on leaving this necklace to me as a memento.

After my mother passed away, I kept it treasured and never thought of selling it.

Later, when Henry's business ran into trouble and urgently needed money, the bank refused to lend, so I had to sell the JewelSeaHeart at a pawnshop to help Henry out.

But I never expected to see this necklace on Aria's neck.

I stared at her with wide eyes and asked in a trembling voice, "Where did you get this necklace?"

Aria smiled smugly, gently stroking the necklace as if it were her most precious treasure. "Of course, Henry gave it to me. He said it was a token of his love."

I was so angry that I trembled all over, glaring at Aria. "You're lying! This necklace is my mother's keepsake. I sold it to help Henry out. How could he give it to you?"

I remembered the day I sold the necklace to help Henry. He looked at me with a rare hint of warmth in his eyes.

That day, he held my hand tightly and embraced me. I felt the warmth of his arms that I had long missed.

He said that when he had money in the future, he would definitely redeem the JewelSeaHeart.

Later, I subtly asked Henry a few times, but he always said the company wasn't doing well and there were no extra funds.

I never thought that Henry had already redeemed the JewelSeaHeart. And now he had given it to Aria.

Aria sneered, "Because he loves me. He said he wants to give me the best things in the world. Amelia, Henry had already redeemed this necklace long ago, but he just didn't want to give it to you."

Aria said triumphantly, "These days, he has been by my side, not only coaxing me but also bringing me back home. I live in your house, sleep in your bedroom, and even wear your clothes. One day, I will replace you as Henry's wife."

I was so angry that I couldn't speak. I felt a sharp pain in my chest, and my stomach churned. I couldn't help but vomit, the taste of blood rising in my throat.

Oliver seemed to sense my emotions. He jumped into my arms, gently pawing at my hand as if to comfort me.

Aria crossed her arms and glared at me, then suddenly laughed. "Amelia, it turns out you're really sick. You look like you're about to die."

"Why keep an animal when you're dying? This little cat looks quite cute." She smirked coldly. "Why not give it to me so I can take good care of it?"

I held Oliver tightly. "Don't even think about it! Oliver is mine. I won't give him to you!"

Aria's expression changed instantly. She came up to snatch Oliver, but Oliver leaped out of my arms and onto Aria's arm.

Aria was stunned, then mocked me with a smile. "Amelia, did you see that? Whether it's your husband or your cat, they're both mine."

I couldn't believe that the Oliver I had carefully raised for over a week would willingly approach Aria. I reached out to take Oliver back.

Aria reached out to touch him, and Oliver meowed loudly, scratching wildly. Several scratches appeared on the back of Aria's hand.

She cried out in pain and threw Oliver away harshly. "Damn it!"

Oliver flipped in the air and landed heavily on the ground, letting out a weak "meow."

I was heartbroken. I rushed forward, picked up Oliver, and checked if he was injured.

Oliver curled up in my arms, trembling, and meowed at me.

I rushed forward and slapped Aria hard.
