Epilogue

Author's POV.

Within the night, everything was getting done without any problems. Jack and Ryder were able to get the rest of the rogues back to the cells safely. Ryder brought his sister to the library. He sat with her on the big couch until she fell asleep, whispering to her how they were free, and everything was going to be better now.

Everyone was fed and those not on guard duty found themselves finally able to sleep as well. Other than a handful of wolves, everyone had been healed. It was only the more serious of cases that Grant had sedated so they could recover faster.

Carly finished up what she could do in the kitchen then left the omegas to finish the rest. She wanted to be by Liam's side. He would heal faster with her close to him, and she wanted him back as soon as possible. Luna Alexandria fell asleep in the chair by Stephanie's bed. She had checked in on Kormac wishing she could have her little boy back. She knew he was too far gone for that now though.

Bryon and Aussie had made it back to their room in the pack house, only to pass out in each other's arms. Josie and Elizabeth had found their mates and done the same thing. Garrett decided to stand guard outside the library. He didn't dare go in, even though he was sure the most intoxicating thing he had ever smelled was coming from just inside.

Meriwether had gone back to the clinic to help Grant finish up for the night before going home to sleep themselves. Jack stayed quiet in his corner of the library, keeping watch over Rebecca. He was worried they hadn't found Darius. Where would his brother have gone, he wondered, thinking of the events that took place tonight. Oliver and Iris were set up with cots in Jared's room and slept peacefully for the first time in years. It seemed that everything was working itself out accordingly.

In the next few days there were a lot of things that were accomplished. Rebecca and Jared's new house was finished and plans to add on to it were under way. Rebecca had decided she wanted two more rooms and a safe room added in, just in case.

Jared and Liam both were able to wake up, fully healed with a grand bonfire in their honor. Jared and Rebecca chose new elders for the pack. Carly, Liam, Alexandria, Josie's father Paul, and Jack. Oliver and Iris didn't want to take over the Broken Moon Pack, they said that they wanted to take the time to spend with their family. So, the Broken Moon Pack merged with the Four Prairies packs.

Houses were being planned out to accommodate all the new pack members. Each pack took around two hundred wolves, the rest left the area to find their families. The ones staying decided to set up a little camp by the lake until permanent housing was available.

Jared picked his Beta. Since he refused to choose between two, Bryon and Garrett had to share. Garrett was in charge of the everyday stuff, while Bryon was in charge of pack relations and keeping up the progress for all the projects Jared wanted done to make the pack the best pack in the the country.

Elizabeth packed her bags and through tears in everyone's eyes, she left with her new mate, Randy, to become Luna of the River Flows pack. Josie and her mate, Zeke, decided to stay here. Zeke said it was because he wanted a change in scenery, Josie thinks it's because he didn't want her upset about leaving her pack. Grant woke Stephanie up so that Rebecca and Jared could talk to her about the pregnancy. When she decided she wanted to try to keep them, they immediately started her on daily healing herbs and low energy routine. Rebecca even had her home schooled so she wouldn't be running around all over the school. Once a week she spent the night in the clinic under sedation so Grant could run tests and make sure she had that boost of healing while she slept.

Ryder decided to stay, knowing that his sister finally had a home here. He almost came to blows with Garrett when he caught the two kissing in in the gazebo by the lake. It wasn't until she yelled out that Garrett was her mate, that Ryder backed down and gave his blessing.

Everyone had found their place and was finally starting to relax into their roles within the pack. It only took a couple months for everyone to settle. Jared set Mark to buying more land so they could start building more houses.

After everything was said and done, Rebecca realized one thing. Nothing is as it appears to be, and you should never judge a wolf by its human.

The end...
