Chapter 52 Either you or no one else
Roger woke up in the middle of the night, a habit he hadn’t overcome. During these times, he felt refreshed and could accomplish a lot before dawn.
However, something important was on his mind this time, so he searched for a company specializing in summer huts online.
Fortunately, the call connected on the first ring, so he spoke in a low tone to avoid waking the woman sleeping beside him, asking if he could chat with them.
Through the chat, he made an offer they couldn't resist after selecting a summer hut that suited Karen's preferences. They arrived in less than an hour with all the necessary materials, and despite his reluctance, he had to get out of bed to supervise the work.
His only motivation to leave her side was the thought that she would be happy to wake up to see it.
Due to the intricate design changes he made to incorporate Karen’s preferences, around fifteen men were brought in to meet the deadline.
Roger oversaw everything, arranging for the required furniture as well. It was not just a summer hut but a place of complete relaxation where she could be surrounded by her favorite flowers and their scent.
Seeing the final product, he knew his sacrifice was worth it. Returning to bed, he lay beside her as if nothing had happened, drifting back to sleep.
Karen woke up feeling refreshed but sore, finding herself in his warm embrace. As she began to untangle herself, Roger woke up groggily. "Morning, kitten," he greeted.
Smiling, a thought crossed her mind about the events of the previous night, and she replied, "Morning, Stallion."
Confusion clouded Roger's mind, and she took the opportunity to wiggle out of his arms. It didn’t take long for him to realize that Stallion was the nickname she had given him, most likely from the night before, warming his heart.
A stallion typically describes a man who is seen as strong, attractive, confident, and sexually active or virile.
Roger caught up to her as she entered the shower, her cheeks blushing like a deer caught in the daylight. “Stallion, huh?" he whispered in her ear, his deep morning voice causing her to shiver in his arms.
Turning to face him, she proposed a challenge. "If you stop calling me kitten, I can stop calling you stallion," she said in a whisper. Roger smirked. "You know that won’t work. I honestly love being your stallion, kitten," he said as he sucked on her neck, his fingers caressing her naked breast, she gasped from pleasure but the discomfort between her thighs was a reminder of how huge he was.
"Stallion, I’m sore," she complained, dreading the thought of that hard rod penetrating her walls again. The first time had been painful, though pleasurable afterward, but now she was feeling the aftereffects.
Pausing, Roger lifted her into the jacuzzi carefully and adjusted the temperature slightly higher. "My bad. I’ll get some soothing oils to help with the aches."
He was worried but had a solution. The fact that he hadn’t done it before didn’t mean he didn’t know what to do. Knowledge was easy to get and he prepared everything beforehand.
Karen was thrilled to see how attentive he was to her needs. He massaged her aching muscles in the jacuzzi, but despite his arousal, he never took advantage of her.
This new and considerate side of Roger was satisfying to Karen, and she found her feelings for him slowly rising again. However, there was still that closet.
Her jaw dropped as she stared at the massive closet. It was double the size of the room, with one part containing female clothing and the other male.
Everything she needed was there, and the dress styles suited her perfectly. They were nothing like Tonia's style, more in line with her own, and yet, so fashionable.
"Roger, how did you get my size right?" she asked, amazed. Her expression excited Roger greatly.
"Kitten, I told you before that I make it my business to know everything about you." He pressed a remote, and a new side of the closet was revealed, displaying a variety of sunglasses, shoes, hand bags, jewelries and other accessories.
She noticed something familiar. "My eyeglasses. Where did you get them?"
Though she no longer had a need for it, it still mattered to her because it was a gift from someone she deeply cared about.
Roger's lips tightened as he remembered the time he thought he had lost her forever. "The night I received your text, I found your location, but you had already moved. I saw your eyeglasses there."
Karen was touched. "How long have you been looking for me?" She wanted to know what exactly changed Roger’s obsession with Tonia because nothing felt real and she feared waking up to realize it was all a dream.
Roger was honest with her. To him, she was his life partner, one he would never keep a secret from unless it was in relation to a surprise.
"Since the moment I returned and couldn't find you. A few weeks later, I realized I couldn't live without you, and a month later, I knew you were irreplaceable. It was either you or no one else."
Karen could not piece them together. Roger’s love for her was unexpected and she wanted to trace where it all began. "Why did you hate me before?"
