Chapter 349 - Our Husbands? - four meters
Luisa
"If I see one more case out of context, I'll call him."
I entered the bathroom, rinsed the sweat off my body under the water, and dressed as quickly as I could. Verónica was on the balcony; our room faced the street. I took out my gun and tucked it into the waistband of my jeans, covering it with my long shirt.
"Luisa!" Verónica called.
"Yes?"
Stepping out onto the balcony, I did a quick scan of the surroundings out of habit whenever I felt threatened. Open windows of the rooms across the street.
"Twelve men just got out of three different cars. Is that normal?" I shook my head, looking at the parked cars and spotting the one from this morning.
"That's the car that followed me. We need to get out of here, Verónica!" I grabbed my phone and called my husband. He answered on the first ring.
"Brunette."
"Love, yesterday they took pictures of Carlina and three more of us in the bathroom at San Antonio airport. When we arrived, several people were waiting for us, including four men who looked like anything but travel agents. This morning, I was followed while jogging by a black SUV. I'll send you the license plate as soon as I hang up.
When I got back from jogging, there were several men in the lobby who looked like bodyguards—over six feet tall, weighing around 190 pounds. About five minutes ago, Verónica told me twelve men entered the hotel we're staying at. The car that followed me is at the hotel across from ours. I don't think this is a coincidence.
"Brunette, don't tell anyone, just look out the balcony."
I frowned. Verónica was packing her personal items into her suitcase. I followed my husband's instructions. Stepping out... My handsome husband was peeking out from a window, and a wave of emotion ran through me. That's my man!
"The car that followed you was me. Excellent summary, agent." I felt like jumping from the balcony to that window. "Act like nothing's happening. Don't call me again. If you can, keep your phone on so we know where they're taking you."
"Kidnapping?"
"That's what they're trying."
"All of them?" My brother and Miguel appeared next to Simón. I nodded. They hid again. "You just earned yourself a fantastic blowjob," I said.
"Oh, brunette! I'll claim my reward in a few hours. For now, agent, play along. Be careful with the pregnant woman; it's an urgent request from Cebolla." I wanted to cry from happiness. How I love that man.
"Yes, sir."

Everything has been so strange, starting with Luisa and Verónica's behavior. The girl who welcomed us yesterday was waiting for us in the lobby. They didn't let us have breakfast because we would do it at the house hotel they had found for us. We're about to get on the minibus that has enough room for all of us and four men whose purpose I have no clue about. Who would have thought, but I wish Arnold were here.
"Where are we going?" It was the third time Luisa asked. They kept dodging the question. "Mom, don't get on, no one gets on!" She stood up to the girl, who looked at one of the men. "Where are we going? And this is the last time I'm asking."
"To the beach house, outside the capital," the woman replied.
"That's not good enough. Give me an address, location, coordinates, anything so I can check it. This all seems very suspicious to me."
One of the guys approached to grab her. Instinctively, she disarmed him and finished with a blow to the neck. The man fell, coughing.
"Continue."
The nervous girl took out her laptop and showed it to her. Luisa took the photo and then started looking for the place. When she was somewhat satisfied, she smiled at the girl, turned to us, and helped her mom up.
"You were very rude to that young man," Mrs. Consuelo scolded her.
"I haven't even allowed my husband to approach me that way, let alone a stranger. Never!"
An hour later, we were at an enormous house. The place was beautiful; it had a sea view and an incredible dock for those with sailboats or yachts. They gave us a tour. The people who would be with us were two waiters and two chefs. They didn't look like they worked those jobs at all. Three women were waiting at the house to keep it tidy. The place had fifteen rooms.
"This is much better than the one I had already reserved. This one is on a cliff, and from here you can see the path to the dock."
"For the love of God, how I'd love to be here with my Honey."
"Ladies, welcome to Beach House Resort. Enjoy your stay."
"Of course, we will!" said Shirly. Each of us took a room, each with its own bathroom. I'm planning to get a tan. I left my suitcase aside, took out my swimsuit, flip-flops, a cover-up tied at the waist, a hat, and sunscreen. I'm going to make the most of this break. I love and adore my kids, but they have me exhausted. Demetrio doesn't give me a break.
As I passed by my mom, who was having a great time on the trip, I noticed the elderly ladies were already splashing around in the pool. It was nine in the morning. The chefs made breakfast, and they organized an incredible feast in the dining room. What a delight! After that, they asked what we wanted for lunch, and we all agreed on fish.
I swam for a while. We were all in the pool; some in the water, others sunbathing. I got out and reached the balcony with the most beautiful view of the place. A yacht was approaching; this area must definitely be for wealthy people. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.
"This place is gorgeous," Verónica commented next to me.
"Thank you, girls, for my birthday gift," Shirly said, who had also arrived. Gradually, everyone gathered. My mom was still splashing in the water. "Nothing like the sun, the breeze." The yacht stopped at the dock of this property. "The sand and... husbands?"
At that moment, we realized our husbands were getting off the yacht, and thousands of butterflies filled my stomach as I saw my Honey walking along the dock in his Capri pants and white shirt rolled up to his elbows.
I couldn't help my body from trembling and feeling a jolt between my legs, wanting to run and wrap my legs around him to feel that delicious member.
"Tell me I'm not the only one feeling orangutans in my stomach seeing my husband like a soap opera heartthrob."
Diana spoke. We all laughed, each looking at her husband. At least I wasn't the only one drooling.
"Too bad my man isn't there."
I looked at Shirly, her eyes were moist. Before she started crying, she put on her sunglasses and walked away. I so wanted to tell her our suspicions. It was better not to get her hopes up.
"I'm glad to see Roland here," Verónica said. "But if he's here, it means the situation has another connotation besides missing us." I looked at her.
"What?"
"Something's up, Lupe. My husband doesn't do things without a reason," she smiled and sighed. "While whatever happens happens, let's enjoy our husbands."
