Chapter 336 - Learning the Lesson - mdfour

Chapter 336 - Learning the Lesson - mdfour
Roland

The routine has changed since my little intruders started school, it's been a month now. Veronica is back to her veterinary practice, happy wife, happy life, and the quick getaways we take to indulge my cock are monumental.

We seem like newlyweds, odd or not, it had been a while since we had sex at ten in the morning; our routine, although very active, was limited to after the kids fell asleep or before they woke up.

During the day, we were off-limits, whenever we tried, we were always interrupted, and I had to stop halfway; blue balls are a real pain. Today, Veronica is picking up the kids because she's going to buy Gregorio's birthday gift for tomorrow, Shirly wants to throw him a big party.

Anibal is doing better and better, he speaks more clearly now, takes steps, and uses a walker and crutches at times, he's keeping us on our toes. He can't wait to start training with us again.

Rata designed a workout routine, those in San Antonio do it together, keeping us in shape. We do military training on weekends. The truth is, my Beautiful can't get enough of my fit body, she says I look even better now.

"Honey!" I looked over to where my wife was calling me, running toward me. "Hathor is about to give birth." We ran towards the stable. Watching my wife at work is something I love.

The birth was a bit complicated, but the star veterinarian pulled it off, and now we see the little one at his mother's feet, feeding. It was noon. Veronica was dirty and covered in blood.

"You need to shower if you want to make it in time to pick up the kids." She nodded at me.

"Right away, Captain!"

She ran off. I finished giving instructions. Things at the ranch are going great. The last kidnapped child was delivered just a week ago. We have information from all over, but now what I lack is people.

That's why Rata and Cebolla are traveling to Colombia next week to check on the boys, the ones we always save who follow our school, though it was abandoned after my death, and now the kids work in the companies with decent jobs.

I entered the house, my girl has a check-up on Monday, her tumors keep growing, slowly but steadily.

"Are you thirsty?"

"Very much, my dear." Lately, I've noticed she's been thoughtful. "What's wrong?"

"A man is interested in Shirly, and she confessed it to us yesterday when they met here." Shit, shit, shit! "I'm happy for her, although she doesn't want to accept his invitation, the fact that she dared to tell us means he got to her." Shit, shit, and more shit!

"Vero also advised her to give herself the chance, not to close off from meeting another man, as long as she feels it's right."

"Two months ago, Anibal has been dead for a year."

"He's not coming back, son, and God does things for a reason."

"But..."

"Would you believe me if I told you that deep down, my heart doesn't want Shirly to find another man? I... I understand myself, son, maybe because of your betrayal... it's nonsense."

They say a mother's heart cannot be deceived. I kissed her, finished my juice, and left the kitchen. I saw my wife entering the office. My phone rang.

"Mr. Roland, I'm sorry to call you about this. But Dante and Enrique pulled a prank that will cost the school money."

"Don't worry, teacher. What did my kids do?"

"They drew on all the kindergarten windows, the marker is hard to remove, we'll have to hire someone to get rid of the drawings of little men, houses, buildings, cars, trees, even horses on each window." I wanted to laugh, these little intruders are going to be a handful.

"I'm on my way to get them. Don't worry, teacher, I have two people who can do that job."

"That's good news. Victoria and Liam didn't participate." This time, if Dante sets his mind to it, he can convince them.

"At least there's that." I hung up, Veronica was coming out of the office, and when she saw me, she approached.

"What's going on?"

"Love, pack lunch for Dante and Enrique, and snacks for them and me. Come with me to see what our kids did, you can come back with two, I'll stay until intruder one and two clean all the decorated windows."

I know what markers they used, the ones I couldn't find this morning, those only come off with a special liquid, I'll have to bring gloves and masks. Those little rascals better not think they can do whatever they want! They're only five years old.
"I need to guide them, each of them has a talent, and I must confess that the troublemaker was Dante... it was incredible to see an identical copy of you grow, but it was my duty to guide him."

"You forget that I was going to get them?"

"Change of plans." Veronica looked at me with suspicion. "Don't even think about intervening, I need to teach them that school is to be respected. If I let this slide, they'll think they have the right to walk all over people, and that can't happen."

"Are you listening to yourself?"

"Veronica, I've been a bastard, but education was the only thing I respected, the only thing I encouraged in my people. Isn't it obvious? We all have two or three degrees, courses, specializations in everything. Education is what keeps you from being ignorant. I distanced myself from the subject of God, but never from education."

"You're right."

"Besides, let me raise them properly."

"You're raising them very well." She gave me a kiss on the corner of my lips. "I'll be back with the kids' lunches and yours."

Ten minutes later, we were heading to the school, she in her car and I escorting her in mine. When we arrived at the school in the garden area, the teacher was trying not to laugh, holding back only to maintain discipline. Victoria was standing next to Liam, pointing a finger at her two older brothers.

"Good afternoon."

We entered, and Victoria crossed her arms, her cheeks red. Liam remained silent, swinging his little feet on the chair.

"Good afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Sandoval."

I looked at the culprits. Enrique lowered his gaze when he saw mine, while Dante held it. So that's how it is? "Are the two people who will help clean all the windows outside?"

"Are they just the ones in this room?" Veronica asked.

"No, during recess they had time to decorate the entire exterior, as well as the rooms in this building and the second floor of the internal hallway. Don't ask me how they managed to do so much." I'd bet they made it a competition.

"The two people helping are them." Enrique looked up, and Dante furrowed his brows.

"Kids, we'll talk at home," Veronica said seriously, though she, like the teacher, was trying not to laugh. "Veronica, Liam, let's go."

"Mom!" Enrique spoke up, while Dante's mouth was shaped like a chicken beak.

"Mom, aren't you going to give us food?" She turned back and walked up to him.

"Young man, I will never neglect my responsibility as long as you are minors. Your father will give you your food, and we'll talk at home."

"Are you mad, Mom?" Enrique was regretful.

"Disappointed."

The teacher left us alone, and I set their lunch on a table in the garden.

"After lunch, you start cleaning the windows."

"Aren't you going to help us, Dad?" Enrique came and sat next to me.

"No, son, you will fix the mess you made all by yourselves."

"So, you're just going to watch us?" That was Dante.

"My responsibility as a father is to make sure no one kidnaps you or harms you in any other way. But you will always fix your own messes. Now eat, you have a lot of windows to clean."

It was four in the afternoon, and they were finishing the last two windows. Their faces showed their exhaustion, their cheeks were red and sweaty. They kept coming to me for water, eating sandwiches, and then getting back to work.

They stopped complaining after two hours, during which I was even called a bad father for not helping them. Enrique stopped complaining first, but Dante tried to manipulate me until the end. The problem was that this young man didn't know his dad was the master of manipulation.

While they cleaned with all the safety equipment, leaving the windows spotless, I inspected each one when they finished. If it wasn't clean, they had to do it again.

They eventually understood that they needed to do things right the first time to avoid redoing them. My friends kept teasing me, saying they took after me. But I didn't have anyone to stop me and steer my potential towards good. For years, I took refuge in bad things.

I need to learn from that. I have four kids to guide on the right path, and Dante, without a doubt, needs to channel that arrogance, the same one I have. They struggled with the last window, and I felt sorry for them. I called Rino.

"Roland."

"Alfredo, what ointment can I buy for my kids' muscles? They're exhausted. They cleaned twelve rooms, each with four large windows, a total of forty-eight windows."

"I'll send you the name of the ointment and also a muscle relaxant with the dosage instructions since it's for adults. Don't overdo it."

"Of course not."
