Chapter 306 - Attack on Germany - meters
Alfredo
I closed my eyes for a second, Patricia's grip on my hand made me look at her.
"I'm going to need your help, Infanta." I was about to let go of her hand, but I squeezed it. "I call you that out of affection."
"Stop making it worse. What do you need?"
"Organize everything. We need to bring down food, a change of clothes, and what the babies need. I'll take Lupe down first and then come back for you. The door is bulletproof. Do you know how to use a gun?"
"Yes."
I nodded. I approached the front door and placed my fingerprint on the top of the scanner to turn on the light. I took out the two guns and four spare magazines and handed them over.
"This is serious, right?"
"Yes, reinforcements are on their way. But until they arrive and without knowing where Arnold is, who has likely been captured, things will get ugly."
"Is my brother coming?"
"Yes, and he already knows what happened to you. He only asked if I had treated you, to which I said no." I saw her smile. "We'll talk later. You'll take care of her while I tend to Lupe. Arinka!"
"Yes, sir?"
"Do you know how to handle one of these?" She shook her head. "Okay, only Patricia and I do. Lupe, breathe. I need you to calm down, please. You're very strong. Now we're going to another apartment, one only I and the three bosses know about. They will meet us there."
"Alfredo, do you know anything about Arnold?" Lupe's face was covered in tears. "Tell me the truth!"
"The truth is I don't know. What I assume is that he's been captured by either Nikolay's people or Blaz Fischer, his father's enemy." She thought about it and nodded.
"I know who Mojón is." She caressed her belly. "Are you going to help him?"
"The cavalry is on its way. I need to protect you all, and if you control your breathing, everything will be fine. Now you and I need to go." She nodded. I helped her up. "How often are you having contractions?"
"I don't think they are contractions, just a strong pain from the anxiety."
"We'll see about that. Inés! Mrs. Carmela!"
"Yes, son?" Inés came out of the kitchen.
"Both of you, come with me. Arinka, hand the child to Inés. Let's bring down as much as we can, and I'll bring the rest little by little. I have Lobo under observation."
"What happened to Lobo?"
Inés had a large bag with things for cooking. I took that sack from her, and she helped Lupe down. Mrs. Carmela had the babies' bags and carried Arinka's child.
"Close the door. I have the keys."
We entered the elevator. I need to get some things from my apartment. I led them to the apartment. Inside, the house smelled of disinfectant. Carlina was coming out with gloves and a mop.
"This will be a clinic for a few hours. It needs to be disinfected, and I needed something to do. Kevin hasn't woken up."
"You've been busy." I smiled at her.
"I've only cleaned the room where Kevin is very well. Now I was working on the living room."
"Thank you."
Carmela started organizing things. I took Lupe to the room where Lobo was. Inés approached him, stroked his hair, took out a rosary, knelt beside him, and blessed herself before blessing him. No one said anything; it was respectful. I talk about God, but it's just talk; I don't have that faith.
I set up the stretcher, carried Lupe, and placed her on it. I adjusted her, took out a monitor from the bag. Knowing this could happen with a pregnant woman under my care, I had it for a while. I connected it, placed the bands, put on the electrodes, and in a few minutes, I could hear my nephews' hearts. I closed my eyes and focused on the sound.
"Lupe, the babies are agitated. Calm down, and they will calm down. I'm going to give you some dextrose with a mild sedative that won't affect the babies." I checked her vital signs; they were fine.
"I'm going to be very honest with you. If the babies come early, you'll have to deliver them naturally. I don't have what's necessary for a C-section, and I mean the anesthesia. That's not my field. Everything will depend on you. Do you understand?"
"Yes. How can you be a doctor and be afraid of needles?" She made me laugh, and she smiled too.
"I'm not afraid of injecting others, but I hate being injected." I kissed her forehead. "Arnold is strong and will endure. We'll all work to save our brother."
"Do you want to be Demetrio's godfather or Dayana's?"
"Did she convince you?" he smiled. "Either one would be an honor." I handed him a cell phone. "Only if you have contractions every three minutes, or if your water breaks and I'm not nearby, call me and I'll know it's time for the babies to come. Otherwise, don't call me."
"Alright, is Lobo okay now?"
"He's out of danger. Besides, I put a weapon next to his right hand. He can't be without one."
"Thanks for everything, Alfredo."
"That's my job. Now I'm going for Patricia and Arinka." As I left, Carmela already had the pots on the stove, and Carlina was holding the baby. "What's the baby's name?"
"Ezequiel," Lupe's mom answered.
"I'll be right back."
When I arrived at the apartment, Patricia had changed into more comfortable clothes, but nothing that helped my resolve to abstain... she was wearing sweatpants that highlighted all her lovely features.
Her hair was tied back in a ponytail, and she had a gun holster on her shoulders. A worthy sister of Rasca culo. Her sister wouldn't mind a nickname in honor of this behind she has. If her brother is nicknamed that, she could easily be Big Butt.
"What are you laughing at?" I'm so screwed.
"Nothing. Is that the other thing we need to take?"
She nodded. I grabbed the biggest bag, Patricia took two, and Arinka took two more. I opened the door and saw three guys coming out of the elevator. Instinctively, I pushed Arinka, who was behind me, and closed the door just in time. I heard the first gunshot. "Shit! They’re Blaz's guys."
"Enemy of Arnold's father?" I nodded.
"We need to get out of here."
Having your own properties and an architect and engineer who love escape routes is the best. We entered Lupe's room, I pulled the rug, placed my fingerprint, and the compartment gave way. The floor of this apartment and the ceiling of my apartment shifted aside, connecting my room and Lupe's. We threw the bags onto the bed, I helped Arinka down, then Patricia.
"What are you going to do?"
"I need to kill two and capture one. While they arrive, I need information on where they have Arnold."
"I'm staying with you."
"That's not up for discussion." An explosion was heard. "Duck down, wait for me to get you."
With a speed that even surprised me, I dropped Patricia onto my bed and closed the passage. I took off my robe, put on a bulletproof vest I had under Lupe's bed, adjusted the rug, and put the robe back on calmly.
I was trained for this. I kept my glasses on, placed my fingerprint on the wall by the door, and a compartment opened, revealing a shotgun with a belt full of cartridges.
When the boss told me to make these improvements, it seemed strange. I thought he was a bit crazy, but the devil knows more from being old than from being the devil. I lay down beside the bed, waiting for the first one to enter. A burly man in a black suit came in pointing his silenced gun. Without giving him time to think, I fired my shotgun, the impact leaving a large hole in his chest.
A barrage of bullets stormed the room. I crawled and peeked out, took the shotgun, calculated the distance based on what I had seen, fired, and heard a terrifying scream. When I peeked out again, I was more shocked by the scene behind the guy writhing without a leg. He would be my informant. I moved the gun out of his reach, took off his belt, and made a tourniquet, slapping him.
"If you don't hold this, you'll bleed out, understand?"
The pale guy nodded. In the living room, Patricia was fighting a skinny guy. The girl sure knows how to fight.
"Lady, you've got a great ass."
The jerk said, and without thinking, I pulled my gun from my waistband and drew the fighters' attention.
"You shouldn't have commented on her ass." I fired a clean shot straight to his forehead. "What the hell are you doing here?"
