Chapter 163 - Operational - Mddos
Simón
I didn't like at all that there were so many people in that place, and in this one too. That son of a bitch Daza knew we were going to take them down, we allowed him to get his family out, but only the women and children. The rest were waiting for us with more than two hundred and fifty men, you didn't have to be a fortune teller to know the massacre that awaited us in a few hours. I finished putting on my bulletproof vest.
We didn't expect that many people. It wasn't that we couldn't handle them, we had qualified personnel, and I also had my group, but that didn’t mean we wouldn’t have some casualties. Hopefully, nothing happens to my team. And what had me pissed off was my girlfriend's stubbornness. I never thought I'd call a woman that word again.
She was reluctant to stay away, and with her in that hellhole, it would be a problem. I was worried, so I sent a message to Roland to order her not to intervene. Additionally, her boss and several high-ranking colleagues arrived in the afternoon, they didn't stop praising her. I wasn't a chauvinist or jealous.
I had no reason to be, but that little boss had love in his eyes when he looked at my girlfriend. When we were introduced, his astonishment was evident, he kept his hand clasped with hers, he never imagined Luisa introducing me as her boyfriend. Several people noticed, except the lady in question. Anyway, that was what had my liver churning. Stupid little gringo.
The plan was to go in four groups, we would move through the blind spots of the Daza's security system and they would be under my orders. In less than half an hour we would leave, he knew we were coming, not the day or the hour, just that we would show up. Hence the number of people, he must think that having so many people scared us, surprise is our best weapon.
Luisa knocked on the bathroom door, a mischievous smile formed on my face. Let's make it clear to that little boss that he can't look at what's mine. I opened the door, she had those beautiful green eyes with the intention of scolding me. I pulled her in and brought her into the bathroom with me.
"As if you..." I silenced her with a kiss, talking to her while I kissed her.
"In less than twenty minutes I have to leave and you want to argue with me? I know why you're angry."
I spoke while biting her lower lip, making her let out a slight moan. She resisted, stubborn as ever. I pressed my forehead against hers, my breathing was heavy.
"Although I don't like leaving you with your little boss either, I still prefer you on this side and not risking your life. I'm sorry, Black-haired beauty, I need you alive." Her eyes sparkled.
"Jealous, Mr. Moreno?"
"Not at all, Miss Sandoval. I own you from here to here." I touched her head and slid my hand down to her waist. "I still need to claim the rest, I know it will be mine soon."
I didn't let her speak, I kissed her desperately, lifted her up, her long legs wrapped around my waist. With this damn suit, an erection was fucking impossible. My mouth moved down her neck, and I slipped my hand under her blouse to claim her nipple. Two days ago, she had allowed me to go that far.
Little by little, she was giving herself to me and letting go of her fears. Even if it was frustrating and my balls suffered, I had to help her overcome her trauma. She arched her back, giving me more access to her delicious, firm breasts. I felt like a teenager, almost forty years old, but seeing her, I confess, I was willing to wait as long as necessary. Luisa had something that bound me to her.
"I also want to protect you," she whispered in my ear. "I work in this, I know how to act in an operation, Simón..."
I bit her nipple. I wasn't going to negotiate that. I had to confess my fear to her, she had to understand me.
"Luisa." I sat her on the toilet and knelt down. "Not even with my late wife did I experience what I feel for you. Comparing my affections, I know I loved her, but with you, I don't understand how my feelings grow. Since you arrived, I doubt my past feelings, maybe I cared for her a lot." Her eyes filled with tears.
"I'm not one to talk much about my feelings, you'll have to learn to decipher me. But this is who I am, I tell you this because if something were to happen to you, I don't know what I'd do. It's true that our time together has been short, but... for a man like me, who has lived and experienced, I can tell when something is worth continuing."
"Simón..."
"Dark-haired one, if you're in that operation, I'll be watching out for you. If someone hits you, I'll lose control, and right now, I need to keep a cool head. I'm asking you to stay behind this time because I've weighed the pros and cons and know my limits. My gut tells me you should stay, no matter what. Don't go to that farm, watch me and listen to me on the screens. Even if your boss is hitting on you."
"What does that have to do with anything, and where do you get the idea that Tommy likes me?"
"Maybe because he looks at me like he's ready to fight, and when he looks at you, his eyes light up. It's not jealousy, but I'm not exactly thrilled either."
"I'm trained."
"Luisa!"
I stood up, opened the door, and stepped out of the bathroom. She followed after adjusting her blouse. She took my hand, and we ran into her boss, who couldn't hide his displeasure.
"We're on work hours," the guy said.
"I don't work for you," I replied bluntly. He glared at Luisa.
"Sorry, it won't happen again." She was called away, leaving me with Tommy.
"Any problem?"
We were the same height, but he was probably around thirty-three years old.
"You're direct; I won't beat around the bush."
"You're going to tell me you're head over heels for my girlfriend and have been waiting for her for years. Sorry you wasted your time."
"You're arrogant," he said in English, feeling more comfortable. He wasn't very good with Spanish. "Besides being a killer and a trafficker."
"I was just doing my job, protecting the real trafficker. As for being arrogant, when you know what you have, you should flaunt it. And about being a killer... keep that in mind."
I couldn't help but smile. I activated the mask, which completely covered my face. Now Roland and Miguel could see what I saw and heard.
"Don't hurt her." Damn! The guy really cared about her.
"Why do you think I'm leaving her here? Make sure she doesn't get involved in this mess. There are too many enemies; she shouldn't leave this place."
"At least you care about her."
"No, she's the woman I've been waiting for. She'll be my wife and the mother of my children. A man doesn't plan like that if he only cares about someone."
"You're afraid to say the word," I noted some irony in his voice.
"Not at all. It's just that I haven't told her yet, and I don't need to tell you first." He clenched his jaw. "Though it's time to tell her."
I headed towards Luisa, seeing my group waiting. The others had probably already left; there would be about thirty people per group, while mine had only ten.
"Simón."
I saw worry in her eyes. The operations base was set up in an abandoned house several miles away, which reassured me.
"Promise me you'll come back."
"I will." I cradled her face and, looking at her, said, "I love you."
I smiled, though she couldn't see it. I achieved what I wanted, and for some strange reason, I felt liberated.
"I'll be waiting for you."
"Thanks, Dark-haired one."
I pressed my lips to her forehead, though I didn't touch her because of the mask. Once outside with my team, there was no need to talk further; everyone knew their role. We grabbed the bags with weapons, ammunition, and whatever each needed for their skills. My intention was to kill the Dazas and minimize our casualties.
"Watch your backs."
I told them. I left with Gustavo and Arnold on each side. Despite Churrusco's insistence on joining, we stopped him because of the wound on his leg. He stayed with Luisa, his job being to protect her. Cherry would be positioned strategically with the car, ready to support and take down anyone coming that way if needed. Wolf, Mute, Curled, Zombie, and Hulk were our backups. I moved a bit away, changed the channel, and spoke.
"Shadow or Onion?"
"Shadow," Roland responded, a nickname from our youth. "Do your job, friend. There are many, but it's a piece of cake for you."
"Screw you!"
"Put on a good show; you're on the big screen. Veronica and Diana brought snacks, and we have a couple of beers watching the operation." I heard him laugh.
"You bastards, pay me for the exclusive."
"We'll be watching, and you're in my mom's and Ines's prayers."
"With God's help, we'll see each other tomorrow."
"Simón, thanks for loving my sister. Since I talked to her about you, I noticed her interest in everything about you. I envisioned you with her. Who would've thought, you found your second gem."
"No, Shadow, she's the gem. I loved Clara a lot; she was my son's mother and my wife. I thought I loved her, but that feeling doesn't compare to what I feel for your sister. Well, enough of this. I have work to do."
Fortunately, Luisa was far from the operation because I had a damn uncomfortable feeling, and when I felt that, nothing good was expected.
