Chapter 161 - Exposing Your Existence - Feddos
Veronica
The two men looked at each other.
"Alright, sir." The men shook hands.
"Okay, Lara. We'll talk in a bit," Miguel said, then looked at Roland and showed him the keys. "Explain yourself."
"There's a ranch on the left side of my land, and Simon's is on the right. They're not furnished, that's something you or your wives will handle. I just have gratitude for what you've done for me and how you've treated my wife. Thank you for saving her life and taking care of her."
"It was nothing, Roland." They hugged. "Thanks, I had thought about living in Blanco once I get married."
"None of that! We've always been together, now we'll continue to be, just in separate houses. And by the way, once Rata arrives, we'll travel to Las Vegas so I can marry Veronica, I need to give her citizenship."
"That's a good idea," Miguel said with bright eyes. "I'll join you guys; I'll get married too. I was waiting to do it with a judge, but that would take longer."
"Well, two weddings it is," I chimed in.
"Veronica," Miguel said. "Her father, Raul, and Santiago called her. I didn't say anything, just that she got a bit upset, so we had to sedate her. That response made her father decide to get on a plane tomorrow, he talked to Simon and they're coming together." I smiled.
"Roland, how good is it for several people to know about your existence?"
"The fewer, the better, but they won't betray me, they're family, Vida."
"Alright." Our hands remained intertwined.
"Kaley!" Another young man arrived when called.
"Sir." He took off his hat. He was tall, blond, with green eyes.
"Let me introduce you to my wife."
"Nice to finally meet you." I smiled. "The cattle are ready, boss."
"Thanks, Miguel, call Jacinto," I was amazed at Roland's mental ease with names; his memory was dazzling. "I want the cattle from El Renacer on my land today, and also, take my things."
At that moment, some barking caught my attention. Turning around, I saw three beautiful dogs. Galaxia knocked me over, Gala and Galo joined in the welcome. I couldn't stop laughing; the men present watched the scene with smiles.
After talking for a while with Mrs. Consuelo, while he and Miguel gave orders and supervised the moving of his things to our house, I spoke with my father. He told me my brother had interrupted his honeymoon because my sister-in-law had an attempted miscarriage and was on strict bed rest. They would stay at the farm while he spent some time with me.
Before noon, Roland arrived at the house. Ines and my mother-in-law went into the kitchen, Diana was feeding Isaac. She looked so happy because she would get married in a few days along with me in Las Vegas. Miguel sat beside her, taking the baby to put him to sleep.
"The room down the hall to the right is the guest room, you can lay the baby down there."
"Thanks," they replied and both stood up.
"Come on, Beautiful, I want to show you the ranch."
I don't know what Roland was going to show me; we didn't get past the stables. The workers had left for their lunch break, and the lustful look of the man who owned my desires approached. Words were unnecessary, I understood his movements, his gestures, and without him imagining it, I started unbuttoning my shirt. He raised an eyebrow, that sly wolfish smile left a trail on my skin. He lifted me and pressed my body against the boards.
"You have no idea how much I love seeing you willing to fulfill my desires." He turned my body so my buttocks brushed against his erection, then turned me around to face him. "Last night, I really enjoyed doing it so gently. I've never done it that way before. Do you want me, Veronica?"
"You offend me with that question. You have no idea how much I've fantasized about making love to you today. You look incredibly edible in those clothes," her eyes sparkled as I brought my mouth close to his ear. "Your cowboy look has me all excited."
His gaze darkened, revealing his soul. Our eyes connected, and we got lost in them. I wasn't aware until he had taken me to a bench, sitting down with me on his lap and began rubbing against my crotch.
"I don't want anyone to see us," he whispered. "Let's go to my room," I agreed. "Button up your shirt. You once said you'd only show them to one man."
"No one else will see them," I complied. "Let's go." He pulled me close to his chest.
"If my way of dressing excites you, you make me hard with yours."
Now I was the one smiling. We left the stables like fugitives, and if anyone in the house noticed our urgency, we didn't realize it. After all, we were like newlyweds. We stripped off our clothes as if they were burning us, and the urgency didn't subside until he was inside me once again, making love with such delicacy that it completely sensitized me. I just let myself be loved until someone knocked on the door to announce lunch.
The entire afternoon was pleasant. My mother-in-law was a lovely lady and got along wonderfully with Inés. Isaac was still asleep in his stroller, and the workers had finished moving Roland's things to our house. Raúl planned to travel with Gladis in fifteen days.
During lunch, we informed my mother-in-law and Inés that we would be married again before the weekend. Roland spoke with Simón, and everything was arranged. They agreed he would wear the bulletproof suit, which had the ability to transmit what he saw so they could watch the operation.
Luisa would stay far from everything, which calmed my husband and Mrs. Consuelo. We said goodbye to her, and when I approached, she gave me her blessing, a gesture my mother used to do. I smiled at her. We arrived at Rancho El Renacer, where I introduced Roland to the staff. We had Mexican tacos for dinner. Carmela cooked deliciously, and we only asked her not to use spicy ingredients. She had worked for a hotel restaurant in a small coastal town, so she knew that people outside of Mexico didn't find spicy food as appealing. Everyone met my husband, and it was already seven in the evening.
"Should we stay or go?" I asked.
"We should go, plus Miguel and Diana are coming. We want to see the operation. They can either go back or spend the night in their cabin room."
"Have you told them?"
"Yes, they know it's for all three of us."
With that, Miguel arrived with a briefcase and their unique greeting, which they had maintained for years in cases of extreme confidentiality. I knew they had exchanged a thousand words.
"See you tomorrow, Inés," Diana said goodbye to Isaac.
"Don't worry, the baby is already accepting formula. Besides, they'll be leaving for Las Vegas in a few days." We said our goodbyes, and we left in Roland's truck while Miguel drove off in his.
