Chapter 60

Alexa

Ashley opened the door and immediately she set her eyes on me, it looked like she had seen a ghost.

“Alexa?” She called unsure if it was me or not and I smiled at her while nodding my head.

“Yes it is me,” I said as I walked closer to her and I hugged her.

She hugged me back after recovering from her shock.

“Where have you been?” She questioned as she released me from the hug and stepped back. “Oh pardon my manners, please come in,” she said as she shifted so I could enter into the house.

I walked into the house and realized not so much had changed, the interior was still the same as before aside for some few changes and addition of flower pots.

I walked to the couch and sat on it.

“Who was at the door?” Georgia asked a she walked down the stairs into the living room.

She stopped in her steps as she saw me seated on the couch. “Alexa?” She called out and I nodded.

She ran to me and hugged me tightly like her life depended on it.

“Where have you been? We have looked over around for you, what happened? How have you been? Are you fine?” She started asking, bombarding me with questions and I didn’t even know which question to answer first.

“Calm down, let the girl settle in,” Ashley chirped interrupting me as I was thinking of what to say.

‘Thank goodness’ I thought to myself as I sighed.

I was confused on where to start my explanation from because everything that has happened to me has been unbelievable.

“Alexa are you listening?” Ashley called out drawing me out of my thoughts and I looked at her guiltily. “You have not changed, that’s for sure,” she said and shook her head while smiling.

“She asked if you wanted anything to drink like water or something,” Georgia said and I shook my head.

“Thank you but I’m fine,” I replied and they stared at me like I had grown two heads.

“You don’t want anything?” They asked in unison while exchanging looks and I nodded.

“Yes, I’m good,” I repeated but they were not having it.

“Well I don’t believe you, you always want something to drink,” Ashley said as she made her way to the kitchen and came back with a cup of orange juice.

My favorite.

She dropped it in front of me and I smiled and she looked at me knowingly. “And you said you didn’t want anything,” she said amusedly and I smiled back

“So Alexa what happened with you? We thought you were kidnapped it went missing, what really happened?” Georgia asked again while I took a sip of my juice and I know she was getting impatient and wanted answers.

“Well,” I dragged out as I dropped the cup of orange juice back on the table and tried sorting out my thoughts, sighing deeply.

“You remember that night we went to the club?” I asked them and they both nodded in unison, their attention all on me as they listened to me with rapport. “So that night, you know I left after a man came to call me for his boss yeah?” I asked as I continued my story.

“Yes I remember because I was the one who spoke up saying he should leave but you still went to him,” Georgia said and I nodded.

“Well, we had a sex that night and I wanted it to be just a casual one night thing because I was trying to get the divorce and Collin’s out of my head but it-“ I started explaining but was cut off by Ashley speaking up.

“Ooh sexy,” Ashley let out, interrupting me as she exchanged knowing looks with Georgia and I just rolled my eyes.

“Anyways, he kidnapped me an-“ I started again trying to continue my story but yet again they interrupted me.

“What?” They shouted in unison.

“He kidnapped you? Or am I not hearing right?” Ashley questioned and I nodded.

“Yes but-“ I started.

“But what? That’s abduction and it is considered illegal!” Georgia said.

“Yes I know but listen to me first will you?”I said and I let out a sigh.

“Okay continue but I hope it ends with you telling us you killed him,” Georgia spoke up again wouldn’t irritated.

“Okay so yes he knocked me out abducted me and when I woke up the next morning he started telling me that I was his mate and he has been looking all over for me. He is also a king and I am supposed to be his Luna that would rule over his kingdom with him, I was not allowed out of the room that was allocated for a few days and when I was eventually allowed out of the room, I tried to escape but he caught and all other sort of things happened that led to now and I think I’m in love with him?” I said to them all in one breath and they looked stunned and spaced out.

“Hello, are you guys still here with me?” I questioned when they were just staring at me for close to five minutes without saying anything.

“Are you saying you might be in love with your kidnapper?” Georgia asked and I nodded.

“I won’t say he’s my kidnapper because he just did that because I was not listening to him, well it was my first time meeting him there was no way I was going to follow him willingly,” I explained to them but they still looked at me like I had grown two heads.

“Are you even listening to yourself?” Ashely asked me while she moved closer to me and touch my head to check my temperature.

“The man literally kidnapped you by taking you against your will and you’re saying it is not like that?” Georgia questioned and I nodded.

“I know it sounds bad but he is not like that,” I spoke up defending Zade but they were not listening to me.

“He’s a king, he must have access to witches yeah?” Ashley asked Georgia as she turned to face her.

“I guess so, why are you asking that?” Georgia answered while also asking her own question.

“I’m think she might be charmed and they is why she is like this, the Alexa I know is certainly not like this,” she said while pointing to me as she said ‘this’.

“Well I feel insulted,” I say. “I am not charmed or anything, this is all me. Well he does have a witch but she does not even like me, she tried killing me because she is in love with him but she was caught and is in prison now which is a long story but that’s by the way, I am well and sane,” I said to them trying to plead my case and they were still looking at me like I was an alien.

“Why are you both looking at me like that?” I whispered yelled as I was frustrated.

“Have you gone mad Alexa?” Georgia asked and I shook my head.

“No I am totally normal,” I replied.

“It certainly does not sound like it,” Ashley said. “You come here telling us a tale of how a man knocked you out, kidnapped you and forced you to live with him and how his witch friend or something almost killed you and you are telling us you are in love with him? Does that sound normal to you?” She questioned incredulously.

“I think something is wrong with her,” Georgia spoke up and Ashley nodded.

“I can promise you both that nothing is wrong with me,” I interrupted them and they just ignored me.

“We need to do something about it,” Ashley said and I became frustrated because they were ignoring me.

“I said nothing is wrong with me!” I yelled at them because I was tired of them taking about me like I was not in the room.

“Okay, calm down,” Ashley said trying to calm me down but I was having none of it.

“I believe you,” Georgia spoke up and I looked at her and tried to see if she was lying but her face was blank.

“You do?” I asked and she nodded.

“Yes, so where is this man of yours?” She asked and I was glad they finally wanted to know something about him.

“He is here with me, we are on a vacation and I asked to come see you both so we could catch up,” I replied ecstatically.

“Oh that’s nice,” she replied and I nodded. “So is he outside or he is waiting for you somewhere?” She asked.

“Well, no he’s not outside but he is waiting for me in the hotel we booked and would be saying in through out this trip,” I replied her.

“Ouuh, sounds classy,” she said I nodded.

Of course it was, Zade is the best.

“And where is that?” Ashley asked, finally speaking up after moments of silence.

“Where else than the best hotel in the whole city, it is only fit for a king,” I said to them and they nodded while looking at each other in silence.

“Yes something is definitely wrong with her,” Ashley said and my face plopped.

If they didn’t believe me why were they questioning me like they wanted to know more about me and Zade.

“I was supposed to know it was a mistake coming here, I knew you both won’t understand me,” I said as I stood up to take my bag and leave as I made my way to the door.

“You are not going anywhere.”
