Chapter 59

Alexa

I woke up in Zade’s hands feeling refreshed and my mood on high.

I was happy and well rested, today is definitely going to go well.

I struggled to get out of Zade’s hands but he only pulled me in tighter and I shook my head in frustration.

“Let me go,” I said to him so he would release me but he was not budging.

He was pretending to sleep but I knew that he was not.

“No,” he simply said before pulling me closer.

“Let me go,” I said again but he raised his head, eyes still closed and shook his head in disagreement and I let out a frustrated sigh.

“You know I have to go out and meet with my friends right?” I asked but he still did not move. “The sooner I go, the sooner I would be back,” I say trying to urge him to leave me and so I could go get ready.

It seemed to work because he let out a defeated groan.

“Okay stay five more minutes and you can go get ready,” he let out and I smiled triumphantly.

“Sure,” I replied and he pulled me into him, his eyes still closed and I did the same as I inhaled his musky yet sweet smell.

I stayed in his arms feeling at preface for five more minute before I spoke up after gazing at the clock.

“Okay time up!” I whisper yelled as I got out of his hands with any struggle.

“I’m only releasing you so you would come back early and cuddle up with me,” Zade said as I made my way once bathroom and I let out a small laugh while shaking my head.

‘Of course I know that,’ I whispered to myself as I got into the bathroom.

I got under the shower and washed myself.

After I was done showering, I wrapped myself around with a towel and I tried to get my clothes but remembered I didn’t pick any when I was coming to the bathroom.

I sighed as I put on the bathrobe instead and wrapped the towel around my hair.

“You look better with nothing on,” Zade said as I walked out of the bathroom and I turned bright red from embarrassment?

“You are a pervert,” I said to him and he smirked at me. He was now sitting upright against the bed frame looking right at me.

“You love me like this,” he replied me and I just shook my head as I moved to the closet so I could get dressed. “You are not denying it,” he said and I still didn’t answer.

“Look away,” I said as I turned around after picking an outfit I was comfortable with.

“No,” he declared and I rolled my eyes at him.

“If you don’t, I would pluck out your eyes,” I threatened and he looked at me wide eyed.

“You would not do that,” he said to me and I stared straight into his eyes.

“Try me!” I deadpanned and without thinking twice, he quickly got up and walked out of the room and I let out a small laugh.

The almighty Zade was scared of me.

When I was done dressing, I fired my hair and let it fall down my back because I was in no mood to pack it up or style it.

I walked out of the room and headed to the living area to look for Zade.

As I got to the living area, I could smell food coming from the kitchen and my legs started moving in their own and I moved there.

“I knew you would be here in a flash,” Zade said amusingly and I just bared my teeth at him.

“Whatever,” I let out. “Anyways I’m hungry,” I announced and he looked at me with a mischievous grin and I immediately knew he was cooking up something in his head.

“Beg me,” he said while smirking at me.

“What!?” I asked dumbfounded and he just nodded at me with a ‘you heard me right’ smirk. “Why should I do that?” I asked.

“Well no reason but if you really want to eat, beg meee,” he said emphasizing on the ‘beg’.

“You are something else,” I say to him grinning slightly.

“I know that,” he said with a proud look on his face. “So beg me so you can eat, either you do it or starve,” he declared happily and I wanted to strangle him.

“I would kill you,” I threatened as I looked at him with amusement.

“I would love that,” he said and I could not help but let out a small laugh.

“Alright, I’d beg you,” I say.

“I’m waiting,” he replied eagerly.

I sighed before speaking up. “Your esteemed majesty, can I please eat out of the amazing breakfast you have prepared so I can have a taste of your awesome cooking skills?” I said to him trying my best to sound serious and not burst into laughter.

He looked at me shock written on his face before he burst out into laughter.

“What?” I asked him.

“Nothing, just that I was not expecting you to actually do it,” he replied while still laughter.

“Fucker,” I say under my breath, rolling my eyes at him.

“I heard that,” he said as he reached over and gently pinched my nose.

“Leave me,” I said wriggling out of his hold.

“I’m sorry,” he apologized and I just stared at him. “I made your favorite, please don’t be angry,” he said again as he apologized and I just kept staring at him.

He went ahead to dish the food and I went to sit at the table and I started eating, the food was honestly so delicious but I was not going to tell him.

“Al I forgiven?” He asked and I just nodded as I got back to my food. He came closer to me and placed a kiss on my forehead as he sat next to me watching me eat.

When I was done with eating, I made to stand up and go drop the dishes but he beat me to it.

“Don’t worry, I would handle it. You can be on your way,” he said and I smiled at him as I went to pick my bag and head to my destination.

“Bye,” I said as I came out of the room and headed for the door.

“Wait, give me a kiss before you go,” deserted as he came out of the kitchen looking sad like I was abandoning him.

He was so cute.

When he got to me, I placed a quick kiss on his lips and made for the door.

“Don’t stay long,” he called out as I closed the door behind me.

I made my way out of the hotel and stopped a taxi as I told him the directions to where I was going.

I hoped they still lived there because I was not all too sure they would still be there after all these months.

As the driver began the journey, I stared outside the window and I could not help but admire the scenery.

I had been stuck in Zade’s palace for too long and had forgotten just how beautiful nature was and I was glad we were on this trip. I could finally take in my surroundings and admire it before going back.

As I thought of going back to the palace, I could not help but think of Zade. I was not even out for an hour yet and I was missing him, I smiled at myself as I realize how attached to him I was now.

“We are at your destination,” the driver said pulling me out of my thoughts.

“Oh, thank you,” I said as I paid him and got out of the car.

I looked around and noticed not a lot as changed and I noticed that the car was parked outside so there is a high probability they were around.

‘I hope they accept me with welcome arms’ I say to myself as I walked towards the entrance.

When I got there, I knocked on the door gently and awaited a response. In two minutes time, the door was opened and Lilly looked like she had seen a ghost.
