Chapter 44

I tiptoed as i cautiously walked being Alexa, following her into the garden.

She sighed as she breathed in the lovely smell of the flowers, her body felt relieved and I rolled my eyes.

She decided to walk around the garden while I looked for something to use to make her unconscious, if I decide to cast a spell she’d would hear me and could possibly escape.

As she walked around the garden, I quickly cast a conjuring spell and conjured a wood as I saw her turn the corner.

I walked towards where she was, her back against me as I raised the wood in my hand and hit her in the head violently and within minutes she was now unconscious on the floor.

I contemplated on killing her there on the spot but that would be too messy as Zade would be able to detect the smell of her blood and it would sell me out.

I stood there thinking quickly about what I could do to her, I tried carrying her but I couldn’t so I decided to drag her.

“Stupid heavy bitch,” I groaned out as I used every of my strength to drag her further and further into the garden.

I hid her behind the bushes so if par adventure someone came here they would not find her as I ran out of the garden.

I got to the spot where the body guards I had enchanted and were now on my side were and called out to them.

“Hey you both,” I called out to them and they looked at me as their eyes flashed black and I smiled, they were still under my control.

“Yes master?” They both said in unison.

“Come with me,” I said to them as I stared walking hurriedly back to where I had kept the stupid girl. “Quickly!” I said again as I saw they were taking their precious time to walk.

Immediately they sped up their pace and walked after me.

“Walk cautiously, don’t be stupid,” I whispered yelled at them and they immediately answered me.

When we got to the spot where she still was, hidden behind the bush, I sighed in relief because she was still unconscious.

“Carry her,” I ordered them as I pointed at her unconscious body on the body and they got to it.

They carried her body and stared at me for further instructions and I sighed in frustration. This was the disadvantage of them being under my control, they always wait for me to tell them what to do, that have no mind of their own.

“Take her to our hideout by the tree,” I said to them and they started moving as I followed behind them.

They walked with her in their hands until we got to the hideout which was in the bushes at the back, no one comes here and no one would find out about this.

I have been using this place for years now and nobody has ever come here not once in those times.

They placed her on the floor and I stood over her.

“Stay here. I’m coming,” I ordered them as I turned around and headed towards the palace.

When I got to the entrance, I made my way quietly to the my room where I went to get the potion I wanted to feed to her.

After taking it from my room, I headed back out walking as quietly as I could. When I got out of the palace, I rushed to the hideout.

When I got there, I knelt beside her unconscious body and I opened up her mouth and forcefully forced the potion down her mouth.

The potion was a poison I had specially formulated for her.

And it works rapidly.

She should be dead in ah hour, if not less.

I made sure it went down her throat before I stood up and turned towards the guards looking at me like fools.

“Stay here and guard her, when she finally stops breathing get rid of her body,” I commanded them and they nodded in response.

“Good,” I say in satisfaction.

I left them behind with her and I started celebrating in my head, half of my plan was done.

The bitch would die and I would finally have Zade all to myself even if he would not know it was me.

I was walking back to the palace when I saw Zade’s shadow so I ran back to the garden and went to the spot Alexa was known to always be in.

I casted a changing spell and transformed into Alexa.

I stood in the middle of the garden and turned away from where he was coming as I heard his footsteps.

He reached his hand out and touched my shoulders and a wave of tingles shot through my body as he hand came in contact with my body.

“Alexa?” He called out and I was glad my spell worked because I was not sure it had die to the fact that it was impromptu and not thought out well.

“Yes?” I said as I turned around towards him with a smile on my face.

He looked at me weirdly and I wondered if he had any suspicion or he had found me out.

“Are you fine?” He asked me and I nodded me head in response.

“Yes I am,” I replied him and I smiled internally because my voice was exactly like her voice.

“You sure?” He asked again trying to be sure nothing was wrong and I was getting frustrated with the whole situation.

“Yes I am,” I replied him with a fake smile on my face.

“Alright,” he simply said. “Why then have you been ignoring me and not eating or coming out of your room?” He questioned me and I was dumbfounded.

What was I going to tell him? I didn’t have a logical answer for why the idiot he called his mate was not eating or talking to anyone.

“Nothing,” I mumbled out to him.

“Nothing?” He asked as he repeated what I had said. “You can’t tell me nothing Alexa. We came back and everything was going well but all of a sudden you started ignoring me and all,” he said trying to understand Alexa’s behavior. “You can’t tell me there was no reason for that,” he added while looking at me intently.

I looked at him straight in his eyes and I saw that he was expecting an answer. This Zade was different, he was more patient and understanding.

He was not the same dominant, aggressive Zade I know. What did she do to him?

“I don’t-“ I started saying as I started walking towards him and I intentionally tripped over so he would catch me in his arms so as to distract him and I could change the topic.

As I tripped he caught me in his arm and I smiled inwardly as he asked me if I was okay.

“Are you fine?” He asked me concern evident in his voice and I nodded my head.

“Yes I’m fine,” I started saying with a cute little voice. Thank goodness the bitch had a sweet voice, “I just tripped over my legs, I’m so tired,” I added as I mustered the most cute expression I could.

“You have not been eating, of course you’d be feeling tired and faint,” he said as he groaned in frustration. “Let’s get you something to eat,” he added and I nodded my head in agreement.

I thought he was going to support me and allow me walk on my own but to my surprise, he lifted me up bridal style and carried me towards the entrance of the palace.
