FIFTY ONE

It has been two days since she did that to Karsen. I didn't think she could do that! Does she kiss Karsen for like seconds? A minute? What? If she did kiss him does that mean I kissed him too? It is my lips, not hers! I wonder if he loves it?

"Stop daydreaming! Continue what you are doing, we can't waste any time!" She shouted at me causing me to roll my eyes while stirring all the ingredients that she told me to put in. I didn't think I would do this! That whole witchcraft thing inside my room!

"You are supposed to do this, not me! I am not a witch! Aside from that, you told me that you would be the one to do this, not me! Gosh, Miss Ancestor. I didn't think a lady like me? Will do this."

"Shut up, don't be too dramatic. If only I didn't use my power at that time well, I might be the one who is done doing that today, idiot." I roll my eyes again. Such a freak!

I continued to mix all the ingredients in a small pot and I couldn't believe what I saw right now was exactly what I had seen in movies and what I had read in different novels. "Hey, Miss Ancestors. Are witches and curses all true?" I ask her while continuing to stir.

"Of course, you are talking with one idiot." I really had enough of her talking like that to me! Is she really my ancestor, she is supposed to treat me nicer! "What kind of question is that? Do you really have a brain? Because it seems you don't have one. Another reason why Karsen left you." How bad!

"He didn't leave me because of that! I know Karsen loves me just the way I love him too! There is just a misunderstanding that happened that time, I didn't mean to cheat." I heard a laugh causing me to raise my eyebrow and look at her in the big mirror in front of me.

"You cheat and that's it. Don't give excuses, darling. There is no way you can do aside from using that potion to make him fall in love with you. Even if you give him so many reasons, he won't believe you. His heart is now stuck at Charlotte not you anymore." My eyes widen after hearing Charlotte's name from her mouth. Did she know about her?

"Are you a love guru now?"

"Before." She said and looked away and it seemed that she was thinking of something. I can tell in her eyes that she's teary, did she remember something from the past that made her like that?

"By the way, how did you know Charlotte?" I saw her eyes widen after I asked that. "I just heard you mention her name."

"From Karsen of course, I can also hear you talking about her as well. You may not have seen me before since my body is slowly losing its power. I just have a chance and the opportunity to talk with you after sleeping and regaining my energy."

"Are you sure? Charlotte told me about you, she knows you. How did that happen?" I saw her looking on the ground and started glaring. "Are the two of you really best friends?"

Because of my question, the lights started going wild causing me to scream and be scared. I saw her glaring at me causing me to feel scared. "W-what are you doing! Stop it! You are scaring me! My things are going to fall, don't make a mess inside my room!" I shouted as I closed my eyes and hid under the table.

She stops suddenly causing me to open my eyes and slowly come out from the table. I saw her embracing herself as she was gasping for air. I looked around and felt relieved when the only things that fell were the ones that were not made of glass.

I looked at her again and was amazed at how strong she was. "I apologize, I just don't want to hear that best friend thing. She is not my best friend, darling. She is my enemy. Don't believe what she will gonna say to you." I press my lips as I look at her.

She is mad. Vert mad. I wonder how these two people knew each other when Miss Ancestor lived a long time ago. There are so many questions in my mind that keep on popping and I wanted some answers about it. Should I ask this about tk Charlotte? Maybe she can give me answers. The truth about it.

"I shall continue this," I just said and slowly she started to calm here which made me feel relief. Miss Ancestor is rude however she looks like she is just in pain. It seems there is a past that keeps haunting her and she cannot forget about it. I wonder what is it?

I finally finished stirring it and she nicely told me all the steps I needed to do in order to have a perfect love potion. It took us minutes after putting it in a jar, Miss Ancestor told me to just put it in his drink and after he drank it I needed to kiss him on the lips for five seconds. But how could I be able to do that? Do I need to make a scene so the two will be apart for a moment? Maybe I could lure Karsen to the bar and let him drunk and take advantage of the situation. I don't have any power like Miss Ancestor anyway.

"Do what you can, you won't be able to see or hear me for a while. I will show up maybe after a week and make sure after that week, I will receive news from you that you finally took Karsen's heart, you hear me? Don't make me disappointed in you." And just like that she was gone.

I looked at the love potion again and tightened my grip on this. "I can make you mine now, Karsen."
