He Is Strange
Calista’s POV
“You are hurting me,” I yelled and he stopped immediately.
“You, get out now.” He said and I left at once.
What is up with him anyway? One minute he is nice, the next minute he is so annoying that I feel like hitting him hard in the face.
So, I slept, it’s not really my fault at all, hum, he should go to hell for all I care, I hate him with passion. I walked to my office and brought out my phone, holy heavens, so many missed calls, especially from Casper.
I guess if I had talked to him, maybe I would have calmed a bit,” Hello pretty, are you angry at me? I am so sorry, I had so much drink last night and didn’t remember what happened as well, I woke up without you by me and saw your note, I have been trying to reach you all morning, but you did not answer, please forgive me if I wronged you.”
Wow, is this Casper talking or his voice alike? Did he just say so many things to me in a few seconds? If he is so sorry that means, I have gotten him close to sixty per cent already,all I need to do is to make it a hundred.
“I was sleeping that’s why, I am not angry with you at all,” I added.
“I am so sorry, I guess I am the reason you didn’t sleep last night, I promise it won’t happen again, I miss you so much, can we see some other time?”
“Sure, we can but right now, I need to make sure I don’t slack off at work, you know how your cousin is?”
“Yeah I do, the workaholic, no problem, I will call you more often sweetie, take good care of yourself.”
“You too.” I ended the call and took a deep breath, what do I do now? Parker is angry at me and I am also angry with the way he reacted.
The office phone rang and it was a call from him, immediately I picked he said,” We leave in ten minutes.”
“Yes, boss.” He ended the call, well, this is a good sign that he is no more angry at me but where are we going in the next ten minutes?
Looking at the schedule, nothing is going on right now so what is he up to?
I got all set and entered the car with him, I didn’t know what to say but just kept mute.
“Have you eaten anything yet?” He finally broke the silence and I nodded saying,” Yes, I have.” I lied to him.
“Are you sure?” He asked again and my stomach cried out embarrassing me just like in the past when I was with him when he asked me the same question.
“You don’t have to lie to me, let’s get lunch before going to the business meeting with the emperor, call them and inform them we will be an hour late so they should reschedule.”
“Sir I….”
“Are you the boss here? Do what I say.” He ordered and I nodded my head in the process and made the call.
Now I can feel butterflies in my belly, so he is going to buy lunch for me and reschedule the meeting all because of me, I feel really special right now. This is good, he is falling for me and I don’t think I am falling for him, I am just acting, right?
We got to the restaurant and we had lunch together, he then told me about everything I needed to know before we got to the meeting.

Since I got off early from work today, I visited the police station and met with the officer in charge of the case that once took place with Casper.
“I really don’t know why you are asking questions about this case, it’s already closed and the lady who accused Mr Casper of raping her was just seeking attention to get money from him.” The officer said to me and I faked a smile saying, “Are you certain the lady is faking it? It’s rape you know.”
“Yeah, but Casper had pictures of them hanging out together and all that, so the question is how is it possible for her to get raped by her man, it’s crazy you know.” The officer laughed.
“What if she doesn’t want to have sex and he forced her against her will, that’s also wrong and you allow him to walk freely? What if he has done worse in the past?”
“My dear, Sir Casper is a handsome and hardworking wealthy man,of course, girls will want him for themselves and they are willing to come up with all kinds of fake stories to be the centre of attraction, why will he rape someone?” I guess the police officer is judging him by his looks, how wish I had enough evidence, he will see for himself but it’s no problem at all, soon I will be revealing everything to the world and then I will remind him of this day.
“Okay officer, you are right, please one more favour,can you please help me with her phone contact?”
“Hey, no, that’s wrong, why will I do that? You are asking for too much.” He replied in a hurry.
“I am sorry but it’s really urgent, trust me, I won’t tell anyone about it.”
“What are you up to?” he asked.
“Nothing at all, I mean she does look like someone I knew back then in high school and I have been trying to reach her.”
“Are you really lying to my face now?”
“I am sorry but please just help me out, please.”
“Fine, you are such a pain in the ass, I will write it out for you but please, don’t put me in trouble.” He said and I gave him my word in the process.
He wrote out the number for me and I headed home so I could place a call directly to her.
I called her several times but she didn’t pick up, I later got a call from her when I was about to go to bed.
“Hello, I missed a call from you, may I know who you are?”
“Hi Caroline,it’s me,the lady you met the other day,I dropped my number with you but you didn’t call me,I really want to help you with Casper's case.”
“Wait a minute, are you that desperate bitch? What do you think you are doing? Are you a heroine or something? How did you even get my contact?” She asked so many questions.
“I am sorry I got your contact without your permission but trust me, this is important for the both of us, can we both meet?”
“You know what go to hell bitch, never call this number again, I am blocking you now.” She ended the call, I tried to call her in return but she already blocked me, damn it, what do I do now? Should I just give up or keep trying? Won’t I be tagged as a stalker?
