Third Person POV.
Hiro had just recovered while everyone was preoccupied, and the kids had left his side as he woke up. He was suddenly anxious since he was confined to a tiny space. He is waiting for the person keeping watch over him to go to sleep and is bored because it appears that the person is intoxicated. And when sleep came to visit it, he sought to reach it in the faint light by taking the key with a stick. He let go of it and made a noise, closing his eyes in case he was discovered. Fortunately, though, the man stayed asleep.
He continued to get it until finally, he got it. He opened the door and walked out without a sound. He took his cell phone and quickly hid when someone walked towards another road.
"Shit!" His heart beat strongly when he was almost caught. "That's almost," he murmured to himself.
He lowered his brightness and hid in the corner; when he opened his phone, it was only one percent. He quickly dialed the number of her ex-boyfriend, who is a police officer, to ask for help.
"H-help," he uttered. "We were in Mr. Smith's warehouse."
"Where are you?" he didn't finish when his phone suddenly went off once again.
"Fuck!" He couldn't stop cursing. He closed his mouth when he noticed that the man who was watching over him shouted.
"The prisoner escaped!" He screamed, and plenty of staff suddenly came out of the cave and looked for him. Fortunately, the place where he lives has no CCTV, so he is free to travel everywhere.
A person came into the scene of Mr. Smith and Raven's conversation to interrupt them. Just to inform him that Hiro escaped. Because by the time Hiro gets out, it will surely be too late. Knowing Hiro is the son of a military person is very dangerous for Mr. Smith.
"Find him whatever it costs; I'll kill you all if you can't bring him back to me." He gritted his teeth so all the people inside left, even Roux.
Little did Mr. Smith know; Roux heard everything about their conversation. He always knew that he was just a toy to his father, but to gain his father's attention is like once in a while. So he thought he loved her because he did everything for him, but no, he was still a toy for him. That's why he came to his senses and wanted to end all of this. He called the police secretly.
"You go first; I'll just be here, and he might pass by." He orders the butler, who was ordered to put a bomb in the children's car, to leave.
When Roux made sure there was no one there, he immediately moved the bomb to another car. He waited for Hiro to arrive at the garage; for sure, that would be where Hiro would go if he were Hiro. And he was not wrong. Hiro was about to leave and looked like he was going to run when Roux spoke.
"Use the car and run away with the children." He hates everyone who takes away his child from Cbiara. He has lost his child twice, so he doesn't want to lose his nephew because of his dad once again.
He shuns watching Cbiara suffer, which is why he found it difficult to look her in the eye earlier as he knew that if he couldn't stop, he would assist her. Even though he really wanted to kill everyone so that the two of them and the kids could be together, he made a great effort to appear unconcerned. Plus, he didn't want to follow in his father's footsteps of selfishness.
"R-roux,"
"Hiro, you need to move before Dad pulls the trigger." Roux was so determined by his words that he spoke out, "Save them." He handed over the car keys and nodded one last time to Hiro.
Roux was aware that he might not live, but if he did nothing, innocent lives would be lost, thus that would be his least concern. Being able to save the kids that he was unable to save his own made him joyful.
Before Mr. Smith could even squeeze the accelerator, Hiro called Cbiara and hurriedly started the car. As Mr. Smith of the gun that Raven caught hurried after Cbiara and the kids, he yelled as loudly as he could, "Faster!”
"Raven!" Lethia shouted. The car has already left, and there are marks on Mr. Smith’s face. He was delighted to see that it was the car he ordered his butler to put a bomb in.
He had the remote, so he quickly pressed the count of the bomb without knowing that the bomb was still inside.
"Say goodbye to your so-called family, Raven."
"You animal! You are shameless!" Even though he was running out of strength, he still managed to insult and curse his own father. "You'll pay for this!"
"No, Raven, I will never, because this is the end of you, my dear child."
"You're so evil! No one can match you!"
"I know that, and that's a great compliment." He pointed the gun at his own son while Lethia tried to stop him. But Mr. Smith's eyes were determined to shoot his own son, all for one. "Follow your mother; there's no point in being here.” He shouted, but before he could fire the last bullet of his gun, the building started to explode due to the bomb. "What the fvck?" He cursed and quickly ran.
Lethia was true to help Raven, but he shook the woman's hand and left quickly, even though she could hardly move properly. Lethia realizes that Roux is still inside, so she goes back, and Raven just leaves her alone.
"Roux!" He coughed and screamed. The blast was getting closer to them, but he was determined to get out of there. While Roux is already outside and sees Lethia looking for him, he turns his back on her and lets her go.
He loved the woman, but when he found out that she was one of the killers of his son, he changed his view of the woman. He tried to give Lethia the love he could give Cbiara. But when he knew that she was one of the people who took away his child's life, he hated the woman.
"You deserve to die." That's the last word he uttered before he ran far away.
On the other side, the fire has engulfed Lethia's body, and she is still shouting the man's name. Love is crazy; you don't know what you can do just for the sake of love. You can be selfish, a killer, and toxic to love.
Lethia's love for Roux is selfish. Deadly, crazy, terrifying—a type of love in which no one dared to be involved.
As the fire slowly engulfed the building, Mr. Smith was welcomed by cops. He tried to fight, but he was still caught because the police surrounded him.
"You are under arrest, Mr. Smith." Hiro's father was the one who arrested him.
