I was still dumbfounded until we reached my hometown, Ithaca. It wasn't until I got back to our house that I renovated that I ordered Hiro. I didn't appreciate the whole house because I was too preoccupied. How can Raven make my whole system react like that?
"No!" I shrieked when I reached my room. I sat in my master bedroom, which I had never experienced before. But I was too exhausted to appreciate that. I need to sleep because I have an event tomorrow night. I need to be the most gorgeous woman at that party.

"You slay all the time, Blair," my best friend Hiro said, kissing my cheeks as I do to him. I haven't seen the Smiths yet; they seem like they want to be special visitors here. I purposely have a mask on the people attending to make the event look grand.
"How do you recognize me?" I whispered to him. I wanted to cover his mouth because it was too loud.
"Your scent never changes, bitch." I chuckled softly. Some things never change; simple as that. We talked some more before I left to check the reaction of the Smiths outside, especially when I heard whispers that they were near.
As I'd expected, they would come here.
And I expected that they didn't wear masks. Well, that's good, though; I don't need them to unmask their consciences. Mrs. got out of the limousine first. and Mr. Smith, the lady, is still glorious and sophisticated in how she stands. It seems like that attitude is in their blood; they don't care about those around them.
Roux and Lethia followed the second automobile; the woman's hand was clasped in the man's arm. As the camera captures them, they appear so treasured. Upon viewing that image, my chest constricted; while they were enjoying themselves here, I was suffering as a result of what they did to me.
My baby.
Look at your dad; he was ecstatic to be with the woman of his dreams and felt like he was on cloud nine.
Lethia waved to everyone; just like before, it still hasn't changed how fake she is to others. She still remained hypocritical, even though the truth was that she would only talk trash to those people. I found out that she was unable to have children after she had a miscarriage with her first child with Roux. So there is a rift in their relationship, but it looks like the news I heard is wrong, or they are just really good at pretending? Whatever the reason, I need to go see Raven, who looks irritated on camera.
The Smith couple were looking at me; I could feel their gaze on me as I walked towards Raven. I saw how Roux and Lethia stiffened after beguiling my scent; they seemed to recognize me based on their reaction, but I just continued.
"You came." Raven suddenly wrapped his hands around my waist. He pulled me closer to him, so I was slightly startled.
"You look so gorgeous," he whispered in my ear. "Can we skip this party and go to your room?" I chuckled.
"Silly Raven,"
"How I love your voice." I smiled sparingly. I wouldn't be attached to his luscious words; I know him just like his brother; they just want to destroy me.
Raven wouldn't move if she didn't intend to, and whatever that was, I had to stop myself. I should limit myself; I can't do it again. I need to learn from my mistakes. That can't happen again.
He escorted me up to the fancy hotel; the people were still in their places where I last saw them. It seems they were curious about who I was; that's why I removed my mask to reveal myself; I'm the celebrant. My eyes darted to Roux's eyes, who were glued to me. I just felt how Raven pulled me to get out of there. He is speechless and looks aggressive, but he is doing it with gentleness.
The whole party, Raven didn't say anything to me; I was talking to other guests, and she didn't join me. That's why I kept looking at him, biting my lip. What did I do this time?
"Thank you for coming." Those are the words I said to those who went to my event. There are entertainers on stage, and as for food, I make sure to focus more on quality, especially since I don't want the Smiths to see something wrong. I want them to know that I'm on top of them.
Just a few more tables, and I'll be in their place. I didn't look at them and was still joking with my other acquaintances.
"Where's your father? Shouldn't he be here?" Suddenly, something stuck in my throat when someone asked me about my father. I could only smile because I didn't have the courage to tell the truth.
Until I reach their table, they look unpleasant in my presence, especially Lethia and Russellia, Mrs. Smith.
"Happy birthday, Blair," only Roux greeted me. I gaped.
"Thank you," I extended my gestures at him. I saw how Lethia brags about the ring on her hands on top of the table, which is full of diamonds. I didn't envy it, she would die if she knew it was once mine before it was her.
"What's gotten into you to come back here and seduce Raven?" Mrs. Smith snarled, disgust etched all over her perfect face. Just like Raven, she captured the perfect beauty but not her manner.
"I didn't do anything; Raven went to me, and he seduced me." I corrected her; her face crumpled; she was not convinced by what I said.
Despite the noise, I could hear Raven's heavy steps towards us.
"How dare you!" She pointed at me, her veins popping out at her forehead, and stood up. All the guests were on our way, Mr. Smith tried to calm his wife but I maybe pulled the trigger without doing anything. "Why did you come back? You do not belong here!" She hastily yelled. "Get out of here!" She tried to reach me but Raven snatched her hands which made her even grumpier.
"What did I do, Mrs. Smith?" I meekly ask, getting the sympathy of the viewers. If I have to do the things that I used to hate, I will do it to them without thinking twice, just so I could step on them just like they did to me."Don't you like what's on the menu? I can replace it with what you like." I lower my voice.
"You bitch!" Her lips are quivering. I snuggled into Raven's chest to hide and to be spared by others. "You are delusional!" I heard a pair of rushing heels before I felt that my scalp was about to split.
She pulled my hair, and I didn't fight back; I let her do what she wanted. Go ahead, Mrs. Smith, tarnish your beautiful image.
"Mommy!" His son's hard voice rumbled around the corner. I tried to pour tears into my cheeks just to act while I was lowering my sight. She stopped dragging me; it looked like she saw how many journalists were there and were filming her. She let go of me; I intended to trip and pretended that she would sink me to the floor when that was my intention at first.
I heard them gasp. Raven attended me; his rough hands were all over my stomach, trying to get me up.
"Let's talk tomorrow, Mom" I heard his warning. I didn't look any further, and they might see my satisfied look all over my face.
I will turn it back to all of you, what you did previously to me that I became the villain. Watch how I twist everything—this is just a taste of my retaliation. And this time, I'm sure I'll prevail with Raven's help.
