Arci glanced at her back and saw them looking at her.
She moved closer to Bremo and whispered
"Arci is here if her eyes can kill people i would have been killed many times"
Bremo glanced back
He whispered back to Arci, "You are my secretary it is natural that i stay with you"
"You need to say something to her anyways, otherwise, she will hold grudges against me again" Arci told him.
"She is with her friends. It is improper for me to go there," Bremo replied.
"Why don't you stand with Marshal Stanley and Michael? Because you are staying with me I've almost become their common enemy" She whispered at him.
"Common enemy? That is too exaggerated. How about I ask the two of them to come here ?" Bremo asked
He turned to walk away.
Arci quickly stopped him.
"No no no" she replied quickly.
"If the three of you all stay with me. I'll be hated by those ladies. You don't know how scary woman jealousy is" Arci told him.
"Why haven't I seen you are jealous of them because of me? You always push me away" Bremo said.
"You are like my brother. Why should I be jealous because of you? I'm different from them" Arci Gave him a cup of juice and walked away.
Bremo's heart squeezed in pain. He could only watch her leave sadly.
Arci walked towards the restroom.
On her way to the restroom Runa blocked her path.
"What are you doing here?" Arci asked.
"Arci, I'm warning you for the last time you had better stay away from Bremo. You don't care about your reputation but I care about Bremo's reputation," Runa told her.
"How can I stay away from him? I'm his secretary. I need to speak with him, ``she replied.
"Don't think you can feel proud just because you are his foreign secretary. They treat you well for Bremo's sake" Runa told her.
"According, to what you said why are you even incompetent for a secretary job there" Arci replied her.
"You.."
"I suggest you talkless otherwise, you will hurt yourself with your own doing" Arci shunned her and walked away.
"You…" Runa could only watch her leave.
Outside the hall.
When Flow arrived Richard walked into the hall with her.
He gave a glass of wine when they entered the hall.
"Little uncle, you entered the hall with me, aren't you afraid that others will misunderstand you?" Flow asked.
"I eagerly looked forward to being misunderstood since I became the commander of the defense command. Many prestigious figures in Los Angeles want me to be their son in law. I've invited you today to let you pretend to be my girlfriend and make them give up the idea" Richard replied nonchalantly.
"You mean I'm just a tool for you here?" Flow asked
"I don't mean that when i have stabilize my position and the situation I'll help you find a Mr. Right and hold magnificent wedding for you two to get married"
Flowy eyes dimmed with sadness when she heard this.
She smiled, "I won't get married, i haven't had enough fun" she replied like a spoiled brat.
It was time for Richard to go on the stage.
So he went to the stage and cleared his throat. All attention was on him.
"Good evening everyone, thank you for gracing me out with your presence here i know i am still experienced enough, Thanks to military governor albert i became the defense commander of los Angeles now people say I'm the youngest lord of Los Angeles but i don't believe that actually, i am to serve everybody in Los Angeles to make you live and do business in peace as the commander i have a bounden duty"
Everyone clapped.
"I believe this is also what the military governor's office and military governor Albert wants. Only when Los Angeles is stable can the military governor office focus on dealing with the enemy in the south. Supervisor Bremo, I think you have something to say. Come on, let's applaud you for inviting him to give a speech" Richard said.
Everyone clapped.
Bremo walked into the stage and Richard offered him the mic.
Arci walked into the restroom. She rinsed her hands after finishing her business.
She turned to leave, she bumped into a man.
She noticed that where she bumped her body was thick like iron so she guessed the man was dangerous.
She acted like she was drunk.
"Mr Leo '' she smiled drunkenly.
She hit the place again to be sure.
"You piled me with drinks"
She realized it was a gun and her heartbeat skipped a beat. The man flinched and stared at her vigilantly.
She quickly continued her act.
"I won't drink more, i won't drink more"
The strange man walked away.
Her eyes became sharp and clear when the man walked away.
'Why is this man carrying a gun?' She muttered under her breath and glanced at the man's back suspiciously.
Back inside the hall
"What commander Richard said just now greatly touched me. Among all the commanders in Los Angeles, commander Richard was the first to say in public that he will serve the industrial and commercial circles. I think if you need any help in the future you can go to the command, I believe commander Richard will fully support" Bremo finished his speech.
"We're facing a problem and hope you can help us, commander Richard". Michale said in the crowd.
"Marshal Michael, go ahead" Richard smiled.
Michael stepped forward.
"You all know that my family runs wharfs and warehouses in Los Angeles. Recently as the situation is turbulent and there are continuous battles a lot of laborers have returned to their hometowns and more than half of the job are vacant we all know that your army is going to be disbanded in my opinion you can let your soldiers work as laborers so that they can earn their living" Michael requested.
"I'm willing to carry out the task of making arrangements for the soldiers" Stanley supported
