Chapter 45 First Day At Work (1)

Arci followed him as he lead the way.

He showed her Bremo's office first before showing her around the command.

They used five minutes before they got to the office Richard gave her.

"Here we are. This is your Office" Richard smiled.

No way in hell will he allow their office to be close.

That was why he chose a office closer to his office.

"Commander Richard, is this my office?" Arci asked confused.

"Yes miss Arci, are you satisfied with it?" Richard asked.

Bremo and Arci looked at each other and stared at Richard back.

"Commander Richard, this office is next to yours but is far away from mine. Miss Arci is my secretary, i don't think it is convfenient for her to work in this office" Bremo said.

"Supervisor Bremo, here is the thing. The room next to your office is the archives office and d andeputy commander Drey is using the room opposite yours so there is really no other suitable office, Miss Arci how about you make do with it?" Richard asked.

"Fine, i can make do with it"

"I knew you would" Richard smiled happily.

"Since Runa doesn't have her own office when she worked here, it's not proper for me to have one I'll work in supervisor Bremo's office it'll be convenient for us to work together. Am i right, Bremo ?" Arci asked Bremo.

"No…" Richard said but was interrupted by Bremo.

"Miss Arci is right, Don't bother" Bremo told him, he glanced at Arci, "Let's go" He told her

Richard expression turned dark as he watched them left together.

Richmond walked towards him, "Commander, no offense i told you that this room is not suitable to be her office She is supervisor Bremo secretary but you insisted on making her office so close to yours" Richmond told him.

"Bug off" Richard said with a serious expression.

Richmond cleared his throat and walked away.

Richard walked back to his office.

He couldn't take her as his secretary so her dad won't be suspicious of her.

He had no choice but to endure for now, she will be his soon he could still monitor them no qualms.

Arci successfully settled down in Bremo's office. She started working diligently after she settled.

Bremo couldn't take his eyes off her because she looks breathtaking not that sore eyes Runa.

Arci noticed Richard from the corner of her eyes as he walked infront of Bremo's office like a security man.

He passed infront of Bremo's office again and stood, he bend down pretending to clean his shoes.

Arci noticed him again, she glanced at Bremo and realized that Bremo didn't notice him. She continued working.

He passed infront of Bremo's office the third time, Arci smiled.

He passed again the fourth time.

He passed for more than ten times.

He walked back to his office after monitoring them for awhile.

Richmond entered his office.

"Commander, this is the official document sent from the consulate, This is the original text and this is the translated text take a look" He gave him the document.

Richard collected the document, he threw it on the table frustratedly and dismissed him.

Richmond thought he asked him to come closer so he moved closer to him.

Richard opened his eyes and stared at him for awhile before looking at the document. Something just came into his mind he quickly picked the document from the table and opened it.

"The staff of the translation office have worked really hard these days. Let them take a few days off. Ask them to go home and have a good rest " Richard told him.

Richmond mouth agape he couldn't know what to say.

"Commander, the translation office is the idlest department while the Adjutants office is the busiest one we keep running errands and are exhausted" Richmond complained.

"How about i transfer you to translation office?" Richard asked

"Commander, that is not funny" Richmond replied.

"I told you they have worked hard. Let them take a few days off and go home" Richard ordered.

"Aye commander" Richmond replied.

"Hurry!" Richard told him.

"Aye commander" he said and walked out of his office.

Richard smiled evilly now he could have a good excuse to take Arci away.

He took his office phone and called Bremo's office.

"Yo Bremo" Richard said.

"Hello commander Richard"

Arci ears perked up when she heard his name.

"Let Arci do something for me. I need her to help me translate a document" Richard told him.

"Okay" Bremo agreed.

"Yes thank you" Richard said and dropped his telephone.

He smiled relaxed.

He quickly stood up from the couch and went to sit at his office seat looking at the document his expression serious.

He noticed that She is at the door but he didn't lift his head up.

Arci knocked at the door before he glanced up.

"Come in" Richard told her.

Arci walked towards him, she stood infront of him.

"It's all in your plan that I'd come to work today. Isn't it? Why did you hide it from me?" Arci asked.

"Why wouldn't i take the money your sister gave me for nothing i helped you relieve the burden didn't i?" Richard asked

"Commander Richard, you're so calculating you made use of my sister and me to make money, Do you really take the Lincoln family as your cash Cow?" She asked him.

"The two of you are different you're someone i selected carefully and she is just a giveaway that comes along. Miss Runa paid me $50 thousand dollars just to work here for a day but i let you replace her i treat you well enough" Richard replied.

"Should i say thank you, commander Richard?" She asked with her hand crossed on her chest.

"What did you ask me here for?" She asked without waiting for his reply.

"Translate this document for me" He gave her the document Richmond gave him he stood up from his seat.

"Come and sit here" he told her.
