Chapter six
Serum, also known as a Truth Potion, was a potion that could be used to gain the truth from anyone. Jobberknoll feathers were a known ingredient of Truth Serums. Veristaserum was the most powerful Truth Serum there was.
It was a colorless, water-like fluid. Three drops were enough to force the drinker to reveal their deepest secrets. It could be countered with an antidote or Occlumency, any questions?" He asked, sparing me a glance. Someone raised her hand
"Yes?"
“Where can a Jobberknoll feather be found?" I asked curiously.
"It can be found in the enchanted forest, it's the color of lavender smooth as silk and smells as sweet as honey."
"Okay."
"Any other question?" The enchanted forest is where Mary said I'll meet some Fae that will help me, hmmm.
"How to brew your truth potion…”
Step 1: it's much better to brew it in a glass that way you'll be able to better monitor the chemical reaction, in a glass poured in purified water, two of a point third will do.
Step 2: top up the glass with a grandmother oil extracted from the purest grandmother.
Step 3: a couple of drops of Beeson Brewerick. This is a gravity-defined juice extracted from humanity.
Step 4: Then when you're ready and not feeling tired drop in a clave capsule. You'll then see the clave starting to manipulate through the water.
A violent process known as Anti-pechristophehcation will take place in the glass, this is perfectly normal although yiu should stand well back in case of rechristophehcation which can result in an explosion.
Step 5: at the peak of Anti-rechristophehcation take the glass and pour it in a cauldron. The bubbly fluid known as artisan's fluid serves as our truth potion. We just need to add in a couple more ingredients.
Step 6: First drop in a jargon fruit.
Step 7: add in one Jimbanoe.
Step 8: Steer your mixture well,
Step 9: Collect some of the potions in a bottle of your choosing refrigerated if not ready for use.
"Now with this guide brew your truth potion." He instructed us, he provided us with all the ingredients and a potion book, in the book was the guide to making a perfect truth potion.
I opened the book and I began brewing my potion-making sure to perform each step properly, I saw some potions blowing up in their brewers' faces while a few weren't getting the result. I finished brewing my potion and presented it to Mr. Griffin, only myself and a couple of other guys are right.
"That marks the end of today's class, in our next lesson we'll be learning about dragons so read ahead." The bell rang and we all exited the class.
"That was intense," Cedric said walking next to me.
"I know right. Dragons are no joke, I would love it if I had one as a pet." Katara said dreamingly.
"Dragons are free creatures, they are not to be used as pets," Cedric said, upset.
"Hey, chill, don't take it so personally.”
"Sorry, it's just there are some cruel oeooke in this world that use dragons as slaves and objects to get what they want."
"That's barbaric." Dragons are lovely creatures even though I've not seen one or believe they exist still it's very wrong to abuse someone or something as an object to get what you want, I for one know what that feels like.
"I know right." "Tell that to the people of Raychem, they sell and buy dragons, use them for their selfish interest and dump them afterward," Ben said disgustedly.
"Raychem sounds like an awful place."
"No, it's not, it's the second most beautiful place in the world, it's the people in it that are cruel and horrible."
"What's the first?"
"Celesta," Katara whispered.
"Why are you whispering?"
"It's a place not to be spoken of, I'll talk about it over lunch." All these mysteries are making me hungry.
"Speaking of lunch I'm starving," Ben said as we walked into the dining hall. It's not like the one Agular, and Zion came to.
"Are there two cafeterias?" I was confused.
"What's a cafeteria?" Katara looked at me like I've grown another pair of head.
"Cafeteria, the one my friends and I went to earlier." There is no way she doesn't know what a cafeteria is. I mean come on.
"I don't understand what you're saying.”
"Is there another place like this one we are in right now?" If your brain can't comprehend what I said earlier, at least maybe you'll understand what I am saying now.
"Oh you mean the dining hall, yes there are two dining halls one for the seniors which is this one and the other for the juniors which is the one you and your friends went to." She explained, a dining hall of course.
"Wait your friends with Juniors?" Ben asked, holding in a laugh.
"Why would you be friends with Juniors?" He asked as we took our seats. The hall was huge, there were four tables each filled with foods that I'd never seen before, except a few, everything looked and smelled delicious.
"I remember when I was a junior, I used to pay for my food but now I ear like a King," Ben said, stuffing his face with chicken.
"We just resumed yesterday..... I want to see them, I miss them." I said filling my plate with potatoes and chicken.
“You can see them after school is over," Katara said with a smile. "So about Celeste?" I want to know why it's no longer a part of this world.
"Shhh lower your voice," Ben said, placing his finger on his lips. Katara leaned towards me and Behan
Centuries ago the king of the world of the unseen Mycerus fell in love with a Goddess like creature, flawless skin her smile was as bright as the sun, her heart as pure as honey and her white hair flowed down her back like the ocean, her eyes were as blue as the evening sky and her skin as smooth and soft as silk, they called her Axymah while mycerus, on the other hand, was a monster, his heart was as dark as the eclipsed sun, a horn graced his forehead he was quite beautiful actually.
Unfortunate their love couldn't be as they were worlds apart, he was a monster while she was an Angel, she was the chosen one, the one prophesied to save Celeste from doom, they didn't want her to be mated to such a horrible, treacherous and God-forsaken being and forbade her from ever seeing him again, to say he was furious was an understatement but he decided to keep his cool and begged them to allow him to have her but they refused he made them lots of tempting promises but they refused, he begged and begged but they didn't falter.
He got furious and started killing everyone in the realm one by one promising to wipe out Evert single one of them if they don't give her to him but they didn't budge, he and his warriors attacked Celeta and began killing everyone both the going and the old, Axymah unable to live through it she detested herself for being the center of destruction that befell her world committed suicide.
Myers mourned her death and so did the people of Celeta, he blamed them for her death and swore revenge for her on them, he didn't show mercy to the people of Celeste, they were in pain and cried out in agony.
The strongest sage in the Celeta cast a spell which isolated them from the rest of the realms, they've lived there since and mycerus has not given up neither has his thirst for revenge be quenched at least not until he gets the love of his life back and we all know that not going to happen, he is still trying to destroy Celeste.
"Now you know so don't even dare speak about you know what." Be warned.
"The last person that spoke about you knows what never spoke again," Cedric said, his eyes almost popping out of his face.
"He died?"
"He was silenced."
"So he died." We are both saying the same thing.
"No, his tongue was ripped out of his throat, he tried learning Taenisa but it was said that you can't learn it, it's a gift and only a few people have it, only powerful sages can tap power from someone with Taenisa and use it," Katara explained.
"Oh." What baffled me the most was, an angelic soul was given a name like mine, maybe that's what led to her doom. Some do say one's name has an impact on one's life.
"What's the meaning of Axymah?" I blurted out, I needed to know if the name is the problem.
"Axymah means a person of light, " katara said sweetly.
"I wished my parents named me that, maybe I would be as fortunate and lucky." If only she knew what she wished for, as the saying goes…
'Be careful what you wish for' We should take all these sayings seriously. I was named Axymah. Still, my life was filled with pain, hardship, and misery. A person of light on my foot.
