78. The End of the Rosemary Russell Story

"I have decided that Rosemary Russell will be locked in the eternal tower for life!" Erick's voice boomed, making everyone in the castle hall fall silent.

"That is not fair!"

Suddenly there was a scream from the door, Mrs. Weisz was walking unsteadily with his face covered in tears. On the other hand, dr. Weisz, who previously just sat in resignation, immediately approached his wife and hugged her.

"I will seek justice for our daughter!" snapped Mrs. Weisz with a loud sob. Mrs. Weisz pounded her husband's chest with her weak hands. "Why are you just silent?! You should have defended him!"

"Honey, Rose is guilty... Rose is guilty, and we can't do anything right now," answered Dr. Weisz with watery eyes.

"No!" screamed Mrs. Weisz let go of her husband's embrace. Mrs. Weisz shuffled forward, standing right in front of Erick's throne. "Rose is your wife, Your Majesty! You shouldn't treat her like this!"

"Honey, don't be like this." Dr. Weisz pulled his wife's body gently again. "We can't-"

"Just leave it alone," Erick interrupted firmly, his lips appearing to form a crooked smile. "A mother will definitely always defend herself. But it would be very wrong if she continued to defend her child who committed a crime."

"What crime did Rose commit, without even being tried?!" shouted Mrs. Weisz had tears streaming down his face.

"What's there to be judged for if I myself have seen the crime," replied Erick casually.

This loud shout made everyone startled, they reflexively turned to the source of the sound, as did Erick. From the direction of the room door, Angel and Anne and baby Erlena were seen walking into the hall.

"Why don't you ever tell me anything?!" Angel snapped with a bright red face. "Why do you always try to cover up that woman's crimes?!"

"Angel, calm down..." Erick's hand reached out, stroking the woman's cheek gently. "I never tried to cover anything up. I just didn't want to burden you further."

Angel slapped Erick's hand roughly.

"Now let me show all of that woman's crimes to everyone here."

Angel turned around and grabbed baby Erlena's body, which Anne had been holding. Angel looked at the baby gently. "Honey, now you have to show everyone the truth."

"Aaauuummm...." muttered baby Erlena as if agreeing to her mother's request.

Angel walked forward, climbed onto the stage which was Erick's throne. Angel stood bravely, looking around at all the faces in this room. "I am Angel Matthew, or what you usually know as King Erick's eternal partner. And in my arms is our daughter, Erlena Cullen. "Now we will show you all what crimes Rosemary Russell Cullen, your empress, has ever committed."

Angel again lowered his gaze towards baby Erlena. "You can do it now, darling."

Baby Erlena, who is just a baby, still looks adorable, whatever she does looks very cute even though she has great things in store. The tiny baby seemed to be stretching out one tiny hand, with all the fingers open. Baby Erlena shifted her hand from the position of the guests on the far right, continuing to shift to the far left. "But all of that is very dangerous, Erlena," Erick hissed.

"Don't scold my daughter!" Angel growled, immediately hugging baby Erlena possessively. "You should be responsible for our safety!"

Erick was silent, blinking rapidly as if he had just received a hard slap. He rubbed his face roughly. "You're right, I should be the one responsible. I'm sorry I wasn't able to protect you."

Now Angel, who felt uneasy, could only stare at Erick who was walking away from them again.

Before long, two guards had brought Rose into the palace hall, with the woman's hands and feet tied by special chains with a spell.

Erick moved closer to Rose with a terrible face. He gripped the woman's jaw roughly. "I never thought I would marry a monster like you."

"Just kill me," answered Rose with a messy appearance. Rose's beautiful face with always neat hair style has now disappeared. There was only a dull face and messy, tangled hair.

Erick smiled crookedly, his eyes seemed to be burning. Erick tightened his grip even more. "Death is too easy for you, especially since it turns out you were the one who poisoned Angel when she was pregnant."

Suddenly Rose's eyes widened, surprise appeared on her face. "Da... how- do you know?"

"You forget that I have a very wonderful daughter. Erlena can record everything that Erlena has experienced, including when Erlena was still in the womb."

Erick let go of his hand roughly. Erick took a few steps back, looking at all the vampires there.
