I looked back in fear and saw blood oozing out of Ian's bicep. He was shot. "A-Are you o-okay? Oh m-my god-" my eyes fell on a man who was aiming at us. I hid Ian in my arms and ducked as the bullet wheezed past me. Felix came to our rescue as he took the shooter. I took the moment to tear the t-shirt I was wearing under the hood and wrap it around his bicep. "I-Idiot." I muttered to him and he smiled weakly before horror took over his features. "Cygnet!" I turned just in time to be able to block the hand that intended to get me stabbed. My eyes were wide and I tried to calm my heartbeat that was still over speeding due to the fact that I was an inch away from possible death. The attacker lifted another hand up as I refused to let his knife move a centimetre closer. I blocked this attempt too. He was leaning down on me as I was still seated. I used this as my advantage and used my soccer player side to kick his family of jewels. He screamed in pain and a gunshot resounded leaving him lifeless. I screamed and let go of him as he fell beside me. I was shaking because of trauma and looked up with blurred eyes to see Beatrice nodding at me. I looked away. "Whoa, duckling. It's alright. Sh." Ian tugged me towards him and awkwardly wiped my tears. "Clear!" Alex yelled and everybody shot out of their positions. "I-Ian is hurt!" I weakly shouted as I hosted him up. Margaret was by our side in a second. "I am alright, Margo. D-Duckling just likes to worry." Margaret chuckled and shook her head while Alex and Asher rushed towards me. "You okay?" I tried to nod but they saw my trembling hands as Alex hid me in his arms. "We will be alright, swan. It will be over in no time." I nodded feebly against his chest as Asher caressed my hair. "Let's go." This time Alex took my hand. "Margo, stay with Ian. Zach stay with Tyler, he is hurt too." I assumed Tyler is the men with buzz cut. I bit my lips and followed Alex's lead. Looking back, I saw Felix with his sword coloured in blood as he nervously stole glances at Liam who kept his eyes ahead. Then Rose who was walking backwards with her gun held high along with Asher. Ian held his gun ready for attack with his uninjured hand while Margaret stayed by his side in focus. Beatrice and the other man were looking around and shouting clear after every corridor they checked ahead of us. While Zach was holding Tyler. I saw blood oozing out of his waist. "Will he be okay?" I whispered and Alex looked down at me with soft eyes. "He will be okay, baby sis." A small smile teased my lips. "I am not your baby sis." His face fell. "We're twins remember, we are same age." He breathed in relief and smiled mischievously. "But you are younger than me." "Apparently, twins aren't born on same day." I joked and he chuckled. "Technically, I was born a minute before you." "Wow, that's such a long period of time, brother." He abruptly halted and my eyebrows furrowed as I stopped too. "What happened?" "Say that again." He pleaded with hopeful eyes. "Wh-? Oh." I smiled sheepishly. "Brother." A full blown grin took over his features and I melted as if I felt the happiness. Now I know why I always felt his emotions, he is half of my soul after all. He hugged me tightly while everyone around us stopped too and cooed. "I m-missed you, swan." I just hugged him tighter. He pulled away and pressed a loving kiss on my forehead. "Let's get out of here first." He whispered and I nodded as we started walking again. Another set of gunshots resounded as Beatrice stood with back flattened against the edge of another corridor. "Around 10 men." She signalled and the other men along with Margaret and Asher took a cover behind wall. "Count of three." They nodded. "1...2...3!" And in a second, 4 people took positions to shoot but stopped and with a heavy breath out, lowered their gun. "We thought that its enemy." Asher answered and a team of 10 men came out.
