77. Pain and happiness!
Author's POV
Everyone was looking at Arthur and Oliver. Arabella slowly stepped behind Rose and whispered.
"Stop them! Whatever they are going to do is dangerous... Please!"
Rose frowned but her gut feeling told her to trust Arabella.
She quickly stepped on the stage and stood between both of them.
"How sweet of you two to come forward to host your father's birthday party but it's my job so go and enjoy the party, leave everything to me."
"Mom, cake cutting is done... Party is over and we have something to announce."
Arthur was serious.
"Not now, not here!"
Rose whispered.
"We have too."
Oliver supported Arthur.
Rose sighed and shook her head at Arabella.
Brothers faced the crowd.
"My announcement might break few hearts but it's necessary..."
Oliver started speaking.
"Everything happened in front of you all so it's fair to clear out things in front of everyone... You all are part of this story and deserves to know who is the main character..."
He looked at April.
"I am calling my engagement off with April and before you call me heartless, let me clear that I have talked to April and she is okay with it."
Everyone was silent and was listening carefully. Damian looked at April and she nodded.
"I am tired of chasing the man who already belongs to someone else."
She said and Damian nodded in agreement.
"I am sorry for dragging you in this mess, April. And I am sorry Mom Dad for disappointing you at every stage of life..."
Rose and Damian looked at them with soft smile.
"We have done uncountable mistakes and the biggest one was fighting to separate us from each other. You always said that we should be a one person but we never listened to you, we deeply regret that..."
Arabella stepped back even more and Julie gently held her hand.
Arthur grabbed the mic.
"After years of arguments we have decided to be a one person, whether it's in business or personal life... We will share everything."
Arabella almost shivered when their eyes found her.
"Everything!"
Rose grabbed Damian's arm and smiled widely.
"Damian, it's happening!"
Damian nodded proudly.
"Yes, it's happening!"
"But before you think that we are dictating it then let me clear that we are not. It's our decision and we are ready to work hard to make it right."
Arthur cleared.
"Our egos have ruined many things, we have fucked many times but the love for one person was almost the heartbeat of our hearts... This could be a private conversation but everyone deserves to know that she is not a slave, bed warmer or just an assasin. She deserves respect because she is the one who has enslaved us... The relationship between us is complicated but there is no doubt that she will always rule our hearts. She is not a slave but our queen... I am sorry, dove."
Arabella turned red as all eyes turned towards her. She stayed silent as Oliver grabbed the mic.
"Well, I have fucked more than Arthur so I owe you my everything... I am sorry for hurting you because I was hurting, for making you feel that I don't need you when each and every second I was craving for you... I know it won't be easy to forgive me but I am ready to take whatever punishment you have for me. I am sorry, kitten..."
"You can freely break faces instead of bed."
Rose encouraged Arabella.
Brothers got off the stage and walked towards Arabella. She stepped back.
"I betrayed you, remember?"
She mumbled with heavy heart. She was trying to bring back the bitter memories just to check if they are making decisions keeping those memories in mind. She can't see step backs later.
"You betrayed our death not us."
Arthur smiled sadly.
"I was fake, the love was fake."
She stepped back as they stepped forward.
"We wouldn't have been alive if it was fake..."
Oliver replied and tried to hold her hand but she pulled back.
"I left you in agony for years."
She declared trying to gulp down the lump in her throat.
"You spent those years in agony too... At least we had each other, you were alone."
Arthur assured her.
"I can't confess my feelings."
She breathed heavily.
"Because you are helpless, you don't have to confess anything now. We know that you love us."
Oliver knelt in front of her while grabbing his ears.
"Please don't go away from us, we can't take it."
She looked at Arthur when he knelt down too.
"Punish us but by staying beside us."
Arabella was in pain and happiness both. Her heart was blooming with happiness that they have finally left their egos aside and are ready to share her. They are no longer hating or hurting her.
They declared that she is more than a slave and matters to them.
This is what she wanted, this is what she dreamt of which always looked impossible but it was happening.
"Creating different identity looked so appealing and desirable until it came to you... Nothing is more important than you now and if you love us both then we both can love you. Your happiness is everything."
Arthur kissed her hand.
But her mind took a step forward as she started thinking what Rancho is going to do now. Not just Rancho but Egon too whom they have hurt.
The declaration of Knight brothers will alert both of them and there is no way to stop the spreading of news.
The fear of upcoming danger was more than happiness of getting them.
"Take your time to forgive us. We will wait because we know that you are not going anywhere."
Oliver assured.
Arabella opened her mouth to speak but stopped when her phone rang and she saw Rancho's name on the screen.
